And...(I've only seen "A Christmas Story" a couple of times, when I happened to be in America on holiday at Christmas of 2003, but I enjoyed it, and I'd probably watch it quite a bit if I had it over in England. I am able to play Region 1 DVDs, so I might ask for it for my birthday...but I'm getting ahead of myself, my birthday's not for another five months.

OH YES!! Another Auntie Mame fan!! I don't come across too many of you. I've also seen the version with Lucille Ball, and I absolutely love Lucille Ball, but Rosalind Russell will always be the true Mame, IMO.

I don't think I've ever seen the Lucille Ball one but I knew of it.

Oh yeah - you just can't beat the rest of them in that version - I've always loved everything Russell did (Trouble With Angels!) but Peggy Cass was a riot as her maid in that.

"I'VE LIVVVVVVED"! :lol:ive seen the lucy one and lit me tell you its bad and if theres a word beyond bad throw that in too and im a big lucy fan but even diehard lucyites would be hard pressed to sit all the way thru this movie.
