This show is probably my all time (and i'm sure alot of urs). It had so much meaning and love involved in each episode. It is ashame that it was cancelled after bea arthur left in 1992. I never go a chance to see golden palace but i'm sure it was cool. I Just wanted to say how much i love this show. It is great and they are all spectacular.

I have episodes of Golden Palace and love it just as much as the Golden Girls.

I really liked The Golden Girls. I didn't really pay much attention to the show, but I can remember watching some of it's last 2 seasons. I think that Estelle Getty and Betty White were great on the show, and so was Rue, but it took time for me to get used to her. Bea Arthur was the only problem for me. She was great as Maude, but as Dorothy??? No, no, no. I'm glad that she left. I do remember watching The Golden Palace though. Cheech Marin was a hoot.

Yes, I agree as well. The Golden Girls is one of the best shows in history and will never be forgotten. It has great moments. good, bad, mad, sad, funny, hilarious, and just plain Golden. I was younger when the show was on and didnt pay a hole lot of attention to it. I remember watching it with my parents though. And to see on Lifetime and have seen every episode is a delight. I dont want to see it ever go off of syndication. yes, the show is so special and shouldnt be forgotten. Susan Harris and the cast and crew did a spectacular job. I never saw the Golden Palace and would love to see it if I could. It looks like it was good and shouldnt have been cancelled. I have seen a few scenes and they were funny. I love the hole cast. I think the Golden Girls could and should have went on for at least one more season. I think the show would have stayed just as good in the ratings. One more season would make it complete i think. But it already is. And thats fine with me, as long as the show is known and created and was there to watch im happy. You go Golden Girls.
