What do you guys think...do we have readers or writers on this board? cause I think we need a special section

its a great idea because different people like different types of books and it would be fun for us all to talk about the different books we read i myself like media books and bios and autobios. but it would be great if all of us could recommend books to each other.

YES! Definetly, I'm a type of person who reads certain books no one has really heard of so it would be cool to discuss those books there. And if someone writes alot of poetry or short stories they could share them there. :) I mean if there is a Chit Chat Games there certainly could be a Chit Chat Reading.

I've wanted a writer's section for a long time. Don't know if I'd post there right away, but it'd give me a reason to write.

I wouldn't use it, but it'd be great for those that are into that sorta thing

In my opinion, that's a great idea. I think it would give the writers here an opportunity to show how talented they really are and to show their true colors. So yeah..we definitely need a section for books and poetry and such.

I think it's a good idea, even though I'm not too fond of reading/writing. But it certainly wouldn't hurt. I can think of several people right now who would become frequent posters on this board, like TJL for example. I think he would make a great moderator!!! ;)

Definitely! I posted about this ages ago too, but nothing happened- but if enough people would support this it would be great. It would be much more interesting visiting the boards and reading short stories etc, plus great for recommending books. Do this!

How about once the poll reaches a substantial number, maybe 100, a decision could be made?

I can think of several people right now who would become frequent posters on this board, like TJL for example. I think he would make a great moderator!!! ;)

I'd do it for books but not poetry. LOL I'm not a fan.

I think a books/poetry board sounds look a good idea. Especially the books idea. When someone reads a good book they could recommend the book for others to read. The poetry idea sounds good, too. I'm always writing some sort of song or poem in my spare time. I think a board where people could share what they're writing is a good idea.

I'm liking this idea more and more.
For many years I have been using Sitcoms Online as an outlet for my various stories, jokes and silly essays, I think there should be a forum for everyone to share thier creative writings, as well as discuss favorite books and authors.
If such a forum is created, I would be more than happy to oversee it.

There are many bright and creative people here at Sitcoms Online, and I would love to see what they have to bring to the table.

Not so much a discussion for books as it would be a creativity board. Don't know why this idea wasn't used before.
