You have to admit whatever u think about robert stack he had to be the coolest guy on TV, everything about him was cool his walk his talk his facial expressions the way he presented himself, this guy was a perfectionist he never made any blunders on camara not that ive seen anyway, on americas most wanted john walsh always made personal coments about the criminals, you never heard stack say anything personal about them he always kept it profesional. Their will never be another unsolved mysterys like robert stacks.

I totally agree, Robert was fabulous. I loved also that he could make fun of himself in movies like "Airplane" "Beavis & Butthead..." and "Baseketball". Truly truly missed...
One thing we have to remember, though, is that Robert was an actor. He had no personal involvement with any of the cases on UM, thats how he could keep a professional image. John Walsh suffered the most horrible tragedy any parent could imagine. He can call the criminals profiled on AMW anything he wants as far as I'm concerned...too bad the show is on FOX and not cable, then we could hear what he really thinks! :D

funny story...
i met a hare krishna one time who used to sell books in the LA international airport and he said that out of all the celebrities he would run into (kirk douglas, liberace, sylvester stallone, jack nicholson, and many more...) he said that robert stack was one of the coolest, down to earth and most gracious. While most of the celebrities would blow him off or be straight up rude with him, he said that stack was very sincere and nice. small world huh?
