I would buy Maude probably not Gloria. I would only accept CBS versions of Gloria rather than DVD.

View Full Version : Which AITF Spinoff would you buy on DVD? Gloria or Maude? TVFactFan 03-23-2005, 07:13 PM I would buy Maude probably not Gloria. I would only accept CBS versions of Gloria rather than DVD. Skywalker 03-23-2005, 08:46 PM I would buy Maude. I've never seen Gloria, but she was my least favorite character on All in the Family. Theres no way I would ever buy that show on dvd. Brian Damage 03-23-2005, 11:41 PM Gloria because that is rare. Tweety 03-24-2005, 08:32 PM Neither one... I couldn't (and can't) stand Maude, and although Sally Struthers was, imo, very attractive back in those days, Gloria was not that memorable a show. gilligan fanatic 03-24-2005, 09:00 PM I guesss Maude. I saw Gloria on a TV Land Box Set a few years back and it was kind of stupid without Rob Reiner TVFactFan 03-24-2005, 10:16 PM I guesss Maude. I saw Gloria on a TV Land Box Set a few years back and it was kind of stupid without Rob Reiner Yeah she didn't look right without the Rob Reiner character. treky 03-25-2005, 01:42 AM Maude, DEFINETLY! I hated "Gloria" seventies_sitcoms 03-28-2005, 02:57 AM Maude all the waaayy!!! Maybe they could throw a Gloria episode on as a bonus. Was it really that bad of a show? I remember seeing it in '82, but I was just a kid then. treky 03-29-2005, 03:16 AM trust me, it was bad. I also watched it and liked it, when it was first on. But I saw an episode on TV LAND about a year ago, and didn't like it. TripperFan 03-29-2005, 09:40 AM Maude for sure. Yeah that Gloria show was horrible - at the time and in reruns! I'm actually surprised anyone ever bothered with reruns. It couldn't have been on long enough to have that many episodes was it? hch 03-30-2005, 02:25 PM "Maude" would be my best pick for spin-off. Why wouldn't it be? The show was more memorable than "Gloria" (I didn't even know she had a spin-off, to tell you the truth). "Maude" was the liberal version of "All in the Family" and it's only natural that both sides be told, on both TV and DVD. Screenwriter 03-30-2005, 10:21 PM Maude. What's the delay Columbia? You guys own the entire Lear Library. TV_Forever 08-06-2005, 07:25 AM Hi Maude would be first, but I would also purchase Gloria because of the connections :) |
