It seems like Blanche tends to be a one-joke character. Many story lines concerning her are about her men or sexual problems, and so many of the jokes made about her are about sex. I'm not saying that Blanche is a bad character - I think she is very funny and adds a lot to the show - but it does get a little tiring. What do you think?

I agree with what you think about Blanche. I find Rose a lot funnier due to her St. Olef stories.

I'm not tired of Blanche, for I love Rue McClanahan very much. She is my favorite GG.:talk: :talk:

I agree that there's not very much variety in Blanche's character, but I still find her funny.

well think about it they all have the same jokes pretty much Blanch about sex Rose about being not so bright Sophia always joking about dorthy. And so on. What's really funny is that Betty White was suppose to play Blanch at first and Rue was suppose to be Rose can u imagine :lol:
