how do u delete the sites u have visited? how do u PERMENTLY delete all of ur files and cookies and histories and all of the sites you've ever visited?

btw...i have a windows xp home edition...

go to tools in your INternet exploer... clikc on internet options and you can clear your cookies there... then to clear your history, on the same page you will see a button that says "Clear history" and that's how you clear that

You want to delete more than history, you need to get rid of cookies to. Basically everything in the Temporary Internet Files folder.

Click the "Privacy" icon on the left.
Click "Clear All".
Click OK.

Start>Settings>Control Panel
(or Start>Control Panel if you are using the toy look on XP/2003)
Double-Click Internet Options.
Click "Delete Cookies" and click OK.
Click "Delete Files" and select the box next to "Delete all offline Content".
Click OK.
Click "Clear History" and choose Yes.
Click the "Content" tab at the top.
Click "AutoComplete".
Click "Clear Forms" and choose Yes.
Click "Clear Passwords" and choos Yes.
At the bottom of the window, Click Apply>OK.

Be aware that if you have been surfing "questionable" sites, you likely have some type of Adware/spyware on your computer system, especially if you are surfing with IE pre SP-2. You will want to do a full system scan with a program like Ad-Aware or SpyBot, or the new Microsoft AntiSpyware.

Just delete the individual photos/videos which contain the hardcore porn. ;)

Seriously, you delete the individual files (if that's what u are refering to). To get rid of traces back to the files, you can clear the "Most Recently Used" Documents list.

Right Click the Start button.
Click Properties.
XP & 2003 -----> Click the "Start Menu" tab in the new dialog box. Click "Customize". Click "Clear List" in the new dialog box.
95/98/ME/NT4/2000 -----> Click "Clear".
Click OK. (or click OK twice if you are using XP/2003).

There might be a few other MRU lists. Windows likes to keep track of things like that. I know Ad-Aware will find them and display them under the "negligable items" tab, and you can delete them from there.

Microsoft still offers a tool called TweakUI, which allows you to change certain settings, ect. They used to have a Paranoia tab which allowed you to clear ALL of that stuff out at boot. Not sure if it is still in the recent XP editions of TweakUI, but it's an option.
