I have been a frequent watcher of Unsolved Mysteries for years. I'm thinking of an segment from the 6th or 7th season that involved a newly married man and a women who disappeared from thier home in California. I recall the case because I found it one of the strangest missing person cases the show ever profiled. There were other people involved with the case as well such as a alcoholic mother and a tenant who oddly vanished as well. The case went cold for years. I believe their first names were Dan and Linda. Their last names began with an "S". Anyway weird case. Anyone wish to comment?

Hi! Yes, I remember their name was John and Linda Sohus. That is a strange case. It seems logical to me that Christopher Chychester, their tenant, probably killed them. The postcards were a strange twist, but Christopher could have had Linda write them before he killed them. Someone had the theory that maybe Linda was having an affair with Christopher. Thats another way to go I guess. It is strange that only 1 persons' remains were found and they were thought to be John Sohus. Where is Linda?

Welcome! :wave: I remember this one, too. Another thing that really was odd was the woman who came by the kennel and picked up Lindas pets. You have to wonder if it could have been Linda herself.
