Does anyone know when Lifetime's license for 'Golden Girls' will end? Since they just acquired Mad About You, The Nanny, Caroline in the City, Will&Grace, and Suddenly Susan, I wonder where that leaves GG in the schedule.

Well, they have had Golden Girls for *years*. Who knows when it will end.
How did you hear about these acquisitions for Lifetime? I would like to know how to get updates on things like that.
thanks...

Designing Women has been on Lifetime for years and years. So The Golden Girls will probably have the same fate.

I don't know exactly how it all works, but since Disney owns both Lifetime and Buena Vista, I've always hoped we didn't have to worry about syndication rights/agreements & whatnot. I like to think that it'll be on as long as it attracts viewers (ergo advertisers). I'm definitely encouraged by Lifetime's steady additions to the Golden Girls section of their site.
