Has anyone heard any chatter about this show? I just know its a show about Pamela Anderson working/hanging out in a bookstore and Christopher Llyod is in it as well. It actually seems like it will be pretty funny. Doesn't premiere until April sometime. Anyone else hear stuff? :happyface

No I haven't heard anything, but I have to admit I am looking forward to seeing it. I enjoyed the last show she did where she pretended to be a security specialist, it was pretty good.

I didn't know Christopher Lloyd was going to be in the new show.

The show, which received a six-episode order, stars Anderson as a bookstore employee who's trying to change her life and break her habit of falling for less-than-responsible men. Lloyd will play an eccentric customer. Lloyd, also known for his role in the "Back to the Future" franchise, most recently co-starred on CBS' critically praised drama "Clubhouse."

What an appropriate title, considering its star.

I think it's airing on FOX, premiering on April 13 (but I won't be able to see it unless they show it in the UK.) The only reason I heard of the show is because I'm a big fan of Chris Lloyd. I've read that his character is called Harold March and that he's a retired rocket scientist.

She swears that's not why it's called that. It's because it's set in a bookstore. And they work with, like, books and stuff. And the bookstore is called The Stacks. No, really, it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the size of her casabas! It's books, damn ye gutterminds, BOOKS!

:rotflmao: That's the first time you've ever had me laughing ;) I like it

If I recall correctly, I think some of the people behind "Frasier" are working on this show as well - namely, Peter Casey and Steven Levitan. There's also someone called Jeff Richman involved, and if this is the same Jeffrey Richman who wrote for "Frasier", then that's three altogether.

^ And Chris usually pulls off his characters superbly.

Then again, unless they show it in the UK, I won't get a chance to see it anyway. But it looks sort of interesting.

I still am wondering why they are premiering it in April after taping in March. They should wait until June at the earliest.

Anderson's re-'Stacked' deck

By RICHARD HUFF
DAILY NEWS TV EDITOR

Pamela Anderson's new Fox sitcom hasn't aired yet, and already it's undergoing, uh, a cast augmentation.
"Stacked," which is a play on Anderson's physique and the name of the bookstore at the center of the show, is set to launch April 13 at 8:30 p.m.

When the series pilot was shot, Tom Everett Scott ("The $treet"), played the role of Gavin DeWitt, the owner of the small, family-run bookstore called "The Stacks."

However, as production is set to begin on the second episode, Scott has been replaced by Elon Gold ("Cheaper by the Dozen").

"The role was recast," said a Fox spokeswoman. "The producers and [Scott] decided he wasn't the right fit."

As a result, parts of the first episode are being reshot to remove Scott and insert Gold.

Such changes are not unusual, but the timing of this one, so close to the launch, is a bit odd.

In "Stacked," Anderson plays Skyler Dayton, a woman tired of living the fast life and making bad choices in boyfriends.

Dayton, in search of a major life change, wanders into the bookstore. Ultimately, DeWitt offers her a job, which she takes.

Besides Anderson and Gold, "Stacked" stars Marissa Jaret Winokur ("Hairspray"), Brian Scolaro ("Three Sisters") and Christopher Lloyd ("Taxi").
