You Can See His Real Skin Color ;)

Through modern computer technology, the makeup person and reshooting have been eliminated. And since we can't go back in time.....would be nice, though....

Even during the show, it was rare for the actors to have their hands, (and in Eddie's case, legs,) made up in the colored make-up. I've seen a lot of images showing this. Herman's hands are fairly obvious, in most cases. :D

Also, I noticed that Grandpa was wearing more like driving gloves, rather than his experiment gloves.

Maybe that's why they changed them. Too much flesh showing. :D

That gets me thinking: In MGH when Grandpa takes the wrong pill (on the ship while showing Herman it wasn't a big deal to take a pill,) he takes a wolf pill. Lily tells him to look at his hands. They show hairy hands. Is the hair growing on his gloves? I don't recall. (and the DVD is at home...)

They were pretty haphazard with the blue makeup. It looks like they slathered it all over Al Lewis' hair.

The pilot was a little haphazard wasn't it... :)
