hi I'm new here so didnt know where to post this but I just wondered if anyone knew if the DVD's were coming out in the UK?

somewhere on the board someone has posted that they don't think so :( . I can't remember who posted it or which thread but they think that Lions Gate only has the rights for the US :(

I hope that is wrong and we can get them in the UK. Otherwise you could buy them online and play them on a multi-region DVD player. That might be our only hope.

Welcome Leanne! Great to meet you. I really hope they will be released for us, but it doesn't look like it. I don't even know whether my dvd player is multi region or not. But I doubt it :( We'll have to wait and see.

We are all crossing our fingers and praying that the dvd's will come out in Europe.
But if you don't mind to order from the Internet you can always get them there, at least that's what I will do if they don't end up in the shops here.

I was the one here who posted about the Lion's Gate DVD release being only for US & Canada (region 1). I confirmed with them that they only have the rights to the domestic release. They did not have any information on who might have the rights for the international release, so my best guess would be that Disney/Buena Vista International may very well still have them since Lions Gate got their rights from ABC/Disney/Buena Vista. But this is only a reasonable speculation on my part.

Why don't you contact Buena Vista Home Entertainment UK http://www.bvimovies.co.uk/ and send an email via that Contact button at the bottom on their site. Ask them if they have or know who has the rights for Moonlighting TV series DVDS' in Great Britian since you know Lion's Gate is releasing them in US & Canada only. It can't hurt and the worst is they just don't answer you back.

oooh, I was round my parent's house the other day (I usually try to 'drop by' at around dinner time) and my dad said that he had a multi region dvd player he would swap with mine if I wanted to get the ML dvd's. YAY!!!
