I think that deep down, Roy really enjoyed their company. He probably would rather die than admit it though!

I'm sure he did. I mean, if he didn't like them, who did he like? They were a nice group of people. Roy just had trouble socializing with people and would push them away or turn them off instead of just being a friend.

I know that whenever I'm at a party or any social event, because I can't really socialize with people, I end up by myself. I went to a party in high school. Everyone else was having a good time, while I was in the living room by myself, watching "Boy Meets World" on TV. And just last night, I went Midnight bowling with a group from work. They were all laughing and being silly, while I just sat there, not talking. I was, however, the best bowler of the group.

Roy and I are a lot alike. Except I'm nice to people and he wasn't. Also, he owned an airline and I work as a bagger. Oh yeah, and he could drive while I'm too lazy to get my license.

At the risk of sounding terribly dull (and possibly impolite), Roy's opinions were dictated by the show's writers. If they needed him to like everyone, he did. If they didn't want him to like everyone, he didn't.
