I just read on AOL news that they found the body of 9 year-old Jessica Lunsford. Some toxic waste of a human being confessed to kidnapping, raping, and killing her yesterday :crying: I can't stop crying right now. I work with kids Jessie's age. She was such a beautiful little girl. My prayers go out to her family.

Why do they keep letting these awful creatures out of prison? I say the only cure for a sex offender is putting a bullet through their head. I hope when this scum-bucket goes to prison, they put him in the general population.

It's horrible that it's gotten to the point when missing children's bodies are found because I haven't heard of this girl. So many of these children are being violated and it's just not right. I agree about sentencing these men. They should not be allowed out of prison.

I've been watching this case on AMW the past few weeks and words can't explain how the father felt about this kidnapping of her daughter.

My mother told me that she saw on the news that within a 6 mile radius of the house where Jessica was staying, there are 90 registered sex offenders! 9-0 people.

The guy will get what he deserves in prison.People like that are on the bottom of the popularity list and at the top of the 'kick the sh*t-out-of list.

Poor girl, taken right out of her bedroom at night...raped and murdered. He'll get what's coming to him, one way or the other.

I heard that too  When are politicians going to do more to keep these creeps behind bars? I say we should have a "One strike and you're out!" law against these violent beasts who assault, rape, and/or kill innocent people. I'm pro death penalty for both capital murderers and sex offenders.I have zero tolerance and sympathy for them.

I've been following this story and was shocked last night when they said her body was found. I really hope she'd be found alive, even if in the back of my mind I knew there was a good chance she wouldn't be. Poor kid :(

That's so sad.....the killer needs to DIE *obivously*

Yesterday my Grandma told me about her being kidnapped.....and today when my Grandpa let me on his AOL (because the enternet didnt work), I saw the story about her. I read she was murdered :crying:

For some reason, this is making me think about Samantha Runnion.....another young child who was kidnapped, raped, and found dead a week later. :(

That is ridiclous. I bet if you some of you here with children do the research, you'll find alarming numbers as well. ohno:

i don't understand these "registered sex offenders", isn't that like being a registered serial killer?

After reading stories like these I even have to wonder if registered sex offenders should actually be labelled serial killers. This case of Jessica Lunsford makes me think of the case of Jaclyn Dowaliby and if whoever killed her was a sex offender. I think people who are registered offenders shouldn't be allowed to run around free. It makes me think whose side is the law on: the offender's side or the victim's side. This case is so sad. I feel really bad for her family, too. :(

Did he kill her for thrills or to keep her silent or what?? What are these human compost heaps thinking?? It makes me ill to think of what she must have gone through.

To this slime, I say, may the shower rooms of hell be littered with acres of soap bars.

i haven't read a whole lot on the story, but i'd say he did it for kicks.

i was watching something on A&E last night, and it was about 2 little girls who were raped and killed by the same man within a 10-15 year time period. When asked why he did it, he compared it to an alligator. He said it was like he came to the top of the lake and fed, then sank down to the bottomn of the lake. It might take 10 years for him to do it again, but he was gonna do it. One little girl was abducted on her way home from school--he found out the "secret password" from her estranged step father, and told her he was picking her up from school. He took her to a lake, told her to go swimming, and her parents would meet her there. He told her to go swimming to get her to take her clothes off so she wouldn't have to do it later. He threw her body behind a log and covered it up with a bunch of ferns. 10 years later, he convinced another little girl to skip school with him, and he raped and killed her then left her body in a car. The bottomn half of her body was arranged in such a way that it was preserved---thus, how they caught the bastard.

He got 50 years in prison w/ chance of parol (don't quote me on that, but i'm pretty sure that's right). But the commentator said he sealed his own fate with the chance of getting out because he said this, "I will do this again. I will not change my opion about sex with younger people. That's just what I prefer. I am a sick mother ****er."
