What happened to all of those awards we voted for on the Tvland website? I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the show this year, except for the Desperate "Classic" Housewives with Joyce DeWitt and Don Knotts! It was VERY funny! :lol:

I was only half paying attention to the awards itself, but I did catch the DH spoof.....weren't they excellent?! Joyce looks amazing even after all these years. She's so cute! Her voice is still squeaky and adorable :happyface

I was really disapointed too! I was waiting to hear which show got what awards! I'm glad that there were tributes, but I thought it was more of a tribute show this year than awards show. And I looked on TVLand's website and couldn't find any sort of listing of winners. Does anyone know who won in the categories we voted for online?

Sally fields won the little screen(tv) to big screen(movies) award. Meaning she made the biggest leap from starting out in tv then going on to star in movies.

Will Smith was also nominated for that awardand so was George Clooney.

Carol Burnett Show won the Legendary award.

Desperate Housewives won the award for future generation comedy meaning they thought it be good enough to become a legendary show years after it has gone off of tv.

Aaron Spellingwon the lifetime achievement award for his directing.

Mr. ED. Smother Brothers, Bob Newheart also won awards. Kirk, Spock and Roseanne won an award together.








Don Knotts was in that pretend lost piolet episode of Classic desperate house wives. He was in the end digging a hole in the back yard and the narriator said I never did find out why my husband was digging a hole in the back yard and why do I care I am dead. Don Knotts said why am I digging a hole for? Then drops the shovel and leaves.

Marion Roos and Tom Bosley were in it. They were in the Hospital and Tom looks up from the bed and says last thing I remember was I was ordering a milk shake from Arnolds then I passed out, Marion said well I have to tell you something I poisned you. Tom said so much for Happy days.

Then Barbara Eden was out washing her car puring soapy water from a sponge all over herself. Janet said oh what a hussey I think I was her belly button.

Then Charo(spelling) was trying to act sexy in bed, then Jerry Mathers comes in and asks if racking the leavers is all she had and she turns out the light and Jerrys says that better be offical business.

Shirley Jones was also in it trying to do the laundry and asked who put the plads in with the bell bottons to 3 little kids with Danny Bonaduce red hair hair cuts. Then told them she was gonna put them 0n retaline(I think it was that)

Then Abe Vegoda from Barney Miller show knocks on the door and Janet answers and said I am the new plumber in town can I do your pipes, Barbera Eden steps in from of Janet and says you can do my pipes anytime. Abe raises his eye brows and smiles.

No, I didn't see it. I'm really not interested in it. I liked the very first TVland awards show. That was the best one :clap :thumbsup:

i watch the awards and i loved the ds skit they did but other than that i thought it sucked. i mean they didnt have the theme songs at the beginning like the other two years(and i liked that.....it was cute) and they didnt have a lot of ppl i thought they would.......like dick van dyke wansnt there, mary tyler moore, people like that. it was a younger crowd........except for that 100yr old dude!lol) but i thought that it was packed with younger ppl. but w/e. :rolleyes: im not in charge of who comes.

ITA i LOVED the beginning theme songs, they were soo cute :D BUT i still think the first one with John was the BEST EVER :D They had a variety of people, shows that I actually watch, and of course JOHN :lol:

Argh I missed it but I'm going to try to watch an encore of it.

Thanks for the schedule. I didn't get a chance to watch, but knew they always replay it. Even if its not the greatest, its still fun seeing everyone again (and being shocked at "how much they've aged".....like I'm Dorian Grey or something!! heehee).

I saw the Tv Land Awards, too and I was also disappointed myself. But I liked the skit with Joyce DeWitt and Don Knots. I missed about a half hour at 8:30 to 9:00 because I was watching a show that was new but I recorded the awards show and I am probobly going to watch it.

Does anyone know when they air the skit? Like an hour into the awards? A half hour?

It airs during the 70th minute or so (10 minutes into the second hour). It runs 4 minutes long.
