Man stabbed in Pierrefonds

A man in his thirties was stabbed early Thursday morning outside a Tim Horton's restaurant in Montreal's Pierrefonds-Senneville borough.

The man is in the hospital in serious condition. Police have arrested two suspects.

The attack happened at about 3:10 a.m. outside the restaurant located on Sources Blvd. It began when a group of men began arguing inside the restaurant. The victim was attacked in the parking lot by a several people, who stabbed him then fled along Pierrefonds Blvd.

Montreal police responded rapidly and were able to quickly arrest two suspects, a 19-year-old man and an adolescent who is about 16 years old. The jacket of one of the suspects was covered with blood.

There were several witnesses at the scene and police are continuing their investigation.

As long as there are stupid people in the world who are willing to kill each other over an exchange of words, this kind of thing will keep happening.
