Well, he probably had been planning this for months and working out the details of his escape and he didn't want his release to ruin his plans. :crazy: ;)

That will probably make Jay Leno's 'Headlines' segment. He calls it 'stupid criminals'.

Way back in 1991, my 18 year-old nephew, who was going through a real punk stage, was involved in a drunken street brawl. Nobody got hurt, but he smashed another kid's windshield in with a bat.

At the trial, he was sentenced to four months. He flipped out in the courtroom and started yelling at the judge and threatening the kid who was pressing charges. For that stupid stunt, the judge tacked on two years to his sentence.

Today, he's a nice guy, married with two kids.
