Lately I have become a mad Michael J. Fox fan. My two favourite shows are spin city and family ties.

I was watching Spin City today and it was my FAVOURITE EVER episode "Internal Affairs". I :heart: the Mike and Nikki relationship almost as much as I :heart: the Alex and Ellen relationship in "Family Ties".

My mum has sort of become a fan of Spin City with me and since they started showing the third series again (she started watching with me a couple of weeks ago when they showed the last episodes of the forth season. Michael J Fox's last) We've absolutely loved the sweetness of the Mike and Nikki relationship.

Anyway, during the past few days shes gone from telling me over and over again while watching it " They should of ended up together" (Mike and Nikki) To "WHY DIDN'T THEY END UP TOGETHER! :( :mad: " and I'm just like YES WHY DIDNT THEY?

We both were so sad watching that scene (my favourite in all of the Spin City episodes, where the church hills are playing in the background and Mike and Nikki are kissing) and knowing that they don't end up together. Does anyone else think Mike and Nikki were a perfect couple and should have ended up together?

(also don't post anthing like "Heather Locklear had to step in because of Michael J. Fox's parkinsons" I know that but I still think Mike and Nikki were a much better couple :p .)

I haven't seen alot of episodes, but I like Nikki and Mike together and I feel bad that they didn't end up together. There was one on the other day where Mike had Nikki talk to the couples counselor and she told him at the end that it was too late and Paul was dressed in that badgers suit or whatever and Mike is sad and Paul hold out his hands to hug him and Mike comes and hugs him. It was so cute.

Since they both left the show at the same time, I think it would have been a great idea if Nikki had run off together.

Nikki was dating a guy who turned out to be a mobster. Through that, a lot of the office ended up doing things that seemed inappropriate (favors and such) and the press wanted someone to blame. Mike stepped up and took the blame for everything so he'd be the only one that lost his job. Then the next season premier rolls around and Nikki is gone anyway, leaving those watching to wonder why he couldn't have just told the truth. They didn't even have an explanation for her leaving, just a new secretary.

I agree Nikki and Mike belong together, till Mike accidentally slept with Heidi Klum
