Alf looks so realistic on screen it's so hard to believe he isn't real! I think a cool DVD Extra would be a demonstration on how ALF works. like, what he looks like from waist down and how they get him to move. Does any one know how he works?

ALF was a puppet, in close-ups and was voiced by producer Paul Fusco. A
three-foot-tall midget named Michu Meszaros was inside the costume (when
scenes called for ALF to walk around) during the first season.

Oh, the TALK SHOW! Well, that's different. There they used the real ALF, an
alien from the planet Melmac. (But don't tell anybody--especially agents
Mulder and Scully. They'll want to do experiments on him and poke him with
needles. ALF wouldn't like that. Would you?)

i love little people on the screen, god bless them.
doesn't anyone else find the whole concept of Alf a little strange? i was born in the 80s and am not quite culturally adept in figuring out why this show was even made-- it's so random.
also, if anyone is as bored as i am at work, you should check out http://video.dotcomedy.com/player/?id=94834 if you're a fan of celeb smut and fat men in weird glasses.
and no, i'm not talking about perez hilton or james lipton.
