But about the whole country thing, I don't think she's necessarily too country, like a Dixie Chick or anything. She definitely has a country voice, but I think it'll work in the pop world, like Shania Twain and Faith Hill.

Wow, I'm actually very disappointed in the way I've been voting this year. It's maybe because the person I'm supporting (Carrie)'s line is always busy, but it's weird not saying "I got in 200, 300 votes" :lol:

Anyway, I'm filipino too, and I was a huge Jasmine fan... but not just for that reason. Otherwise, I would have liked Camile too, and I didn't :lol: She was just okay. But anyway, yeah, I don't think she deserved to be in the top three, but I do miss her on AI :(

I miss the connections with the contestants. I remember able to really connect with Jasmine, Diana, George... heck even John Stevens and Fantasia. But this year, 4/5 of them are just.... there.

The difference though, is that Carrie has a strong fanbase. LaToya really got by because of her talent - as her fanbase last year was even smaller than Camile's, who was 9th.

The only thing surprising was when Scott made the Top 3 then getting the boot a week later.

I think they overdid the Jennifer elimination thing. It really was NOT that shocking.

#1. She was in the bottom 2 twice before.
#2. That week, John got all of JPL's votes.
#3. Diana and Jasmine redeemed themselves, and earned their votes.
#4. George was just lucky.

My concert's today, but now I'm not looking forward to it. I was supposed to go with my best friend, but I guess she never told her parents, so yesterday, her parents surprised her with THREE tickets. She already gave one of the tickets to one of our other friends. I don't know, this is really tough to explain, but if she decides to go with our other friends, then I guess she'd rather hang out with them rather than me. Part of the reason why I was looking forward to going to this concert (other than seeing the Idols) was to spend more time with her, but I guess that's not gonna happen.

On top of all that, I just read the thread about Bo being really, really sick. I was totally looking forward to seeing him. I even made a sign for him.

This sucks. I'm not gonna have fun tonight. :crying:

Glad to hear you had a great time!!! It's a shame that you didn't get to see Bo :( , poor guy, I hope everything works out well for him. Like Maroon 5'd said, at least you got to see Anthony :) Can't wait to read your review!
