i'm getting worried about this year's american idol. i know i may be over-analyzing this, but lots of things have been happening that i don't like.

1. the most obvious - mario's withdrawal. i'm trying to get over that though.

2. this tuesday's show - the top 12... the episode we've been looking forward to is not live, and is only 1 hour, instead of 2 hours.

3. we don't even know the theme! usually we know the themes a few days early, sometimes weeks early.

hopefully i'll be more optimistic after tomorrow's episode :)

Yeah. But without Mario, I'm not feeling very optimistic. He was like, the only person I really looked foward to seeing every week even tho I liked other people.

yeah this season went from great to devastating. I know I won't be voting for a few weeks at least. I'm starting to realize that I really didn't care that much about AI.. I really only cared about Mario. I want Carrie to win but I don't even care enough to vote. I just wish everything could be like it was.

nope its not live :( because they can't do a good job fitting 12 performances in an hour, live.. they have to edit some stuff.

i remember this time last year, i was SOOOOO excited for the top 12 opening week, and it was amazing, but... i still feel the same way i did this time last week in the semi-finals.. nothing special. :(

see, AI doesn't even care about the fans. they don't care that fans would drool over a 2 hour live show complete w/ backhome video footage. AI is beyond that now because they figure they can get the same monetary effect with an edited, hourlong show with none to limited other footage from the contestants. I have a feeling they won't even mention Mario since it's going to be so short on time. Marios departure has shed light on how ****ty of a deal AI is. All they want is money, money, money. Ive heard that the contract is SEVEN YEARS. That's freaking ridiculous. I think I never really liked Idol. I just liked my favorites.
