I found out today i gotta get glasses
I was in the doc's office from 2:45-5 o'clock... ridiculous! they had to put yellow dye in my eye and then stick a probe on my cornia to get a pressure reading cause the air machine wasn't working... ugg.. and i still had to spit out 224 dollars at the end of hte day... blah. :cool:

Well, I have glasses too.....I've had them sience I was about 10.
And yeah, appointments are usually really long.

Sometimes I don't really like glasses, but sometimes I do because they cover up my HUGE nose (I hit it with my scooter last year, so it made a big everlasting bump).
But someday I might get contacts.

eh, i ain't sad/mad about it, i don't really care... it just pisses me off that they kept me for almost 2 1/2 hours and then charged me out the butt... i feel for those that don't have insurance.

Oh.....yeah, I HATE long appointments like that! Espically when I just sit in the waiting room.....

My family and I are eligible for insurance. However, when I got glasses in 2004, I paid the full price so that my parents wouldn't find out. And even until NOW, they don't know about it!! :eek: Dont ask. LONG story. :D

But anyway, they didnt charge me quite as much as they charged, you... I paid about $190, I... THINK. Or maybe it was $219? Something around there. But it's a lot of money for someone who doesn't have a job. :(

I had to start wearing glasses in 1989 and out of the glasses I've had, I LOOOOOOVE my current pair. They are, however, closing in on 3 years old so I need a new pair soon. :(

I hate wearing glasses, cuz I think I look hideously ugly in them, and having them sit there on my face annoys me to no end after while. When I can feel them on my face, I hate it. Plus my nose is so oily, that they won't stay in place.

But I need to stop wearing my contacts 12 hours or more a day, so I need to go frame shopping.

I dunno....I think glasses can be kinda sexy :)

I hate going to the eye doctor.Although I need mind those new glaucoma test.Much more painless than the air puff machine thing. But I didn't know
what those eye drops were for before they stick that probe in your eye.
I thought my eye doctor was trying to dilate my eyes twice,so I fought
with her on that one. She hit me on my arm and told me to tilt my head back.
The tests are weird though and they take so long!
