in last nights episode Goo Goo Gai Pan Selma went to China with the Simpsons to adopt a daughter for Selma. Homer had to pretend to be Selmas wife. Does anybody know why Selmas sister doesn't go to china or say anything while Selma is in the hospital. I always thought Patty and Selma were played by the same person

They didn't say why Patty didn't go. Maybe she couldn't stand the thought of a trip with Homer.

I wonder if we'll even see Ling again.
