What search engine to you favor? I use to only use Google, but i've gotten to where I love AskJeeves.com... it just seems to give me more pages that are more relevant to my search.

Same here - thx for the tip tho - I'll give AskJeeves a try now too.

Yup I use Google unless I use my address bar,then bing is the default set engine..... (I havent ever changed it)

Google and Bing do not force SSL thankfully so they both work well for me.......

I live in China where Google is banned, for some asinine reason. More than likely it is because Google refused to edit their content to suit the Chinese overlords. So I have somewhat of an affection for Google for doing this, since China is such a lucrative place to do business. Google was banned in the late 00’s, so I used Yahoo (Yahoo also had a message board after their news stories which I enjoyed), but Yahoo was canned by China in 2021.

So now I use Microsoft Bing, despite Bing being a stupid name. I guess Microsoft has no issue editing their content to suit the Chinese overlords. However, I have a “proxy server”, a website that allows me to enter the banned Chinese websites, so if I want to look at something banned, I use that. I will go to Google if I want to look up pornography. Not much else. Bing pretty much does what Google does.

What is the number one website on Earth? Baidu 百度，a Chinese search engine, propaganda machine for the overlords and all things annoying! Even if you understand and read the language, Baidu isn’t very good. The only time I use it is to type in their address to see if the Wi-Fi is working correctly.
