Wow, this is 3 topics in one hour from me....I'm full of questions.
Does anyone know what kind of ratings UM pulls in on Lifetime? I'm guessing that the show must do pretty well, since it's been airing on Lifetime for 13 years (it started airing in 1992, from what I remember.) Plus, Lifetime ordered completely new episodes about a year before Robert Stack died, so it must be doing fairly well.
I've always been a little afraid of the show's ratings slipping, because it would mean cancellation a lot faster than other shows--since no new episodes will probably ever be made again. It's odd that episodes that are 15-18 years old are still airing today. I think it shows what a great program UM is, and how it's audience is EVERYONE, not just teens, adults, etc. And David Letterman and Gwyneth Paltrow have both said it's their favorite show, so obviously lots of people still watch it.
But back to my question--does anyone know what the ratings are?
