View Full Version : Full House was full of mistakes!

I like the show, but it was full of mistakes. First of all, Jesse attended his high school reunion. Then on his wedding, he mentioned that he didn't wear his cap during his high school graduation cause it will mess up his hair. Finally on the episode when D.J. needed help from Jesse on her Stay in School speech, Jesse admitted he dropped out of high school. That was Full House's biggest mistake. On the first season, Jesse's last name was Cochran, then it was Katsapolis. When D.J. first met Steve, his last name was Peters. Then it changed to Hale on the next season. Could you name some more mistakes?

In the episode where Tommy Page sings to Stephanie at her 10th birthday party, in one scene you can see her running up the kitchen stairs crying, yet somehow miraculously in the next shot, she is shown running up the stairs that start in the family room.

As for Jesse changing his name from Cochrane to Katsopolis, he did that because that was supposedly his real name and he felt that because his relatives from Greece were visiting, he wanted to acknowledge his Greek heritage by changing it back to what it was originally.

Well now, those are big mistakes! I do have on explanation for one of them, though. Jesse's last name was originally Cochran, but John Stamos insisted that the producers change it to Katsopolis to reflect his Greek heritage. Still, they should've either gone with that name in the first place or left it the way it was.

Hi all,
It seems there were numerous errors in quite a few of my favorite shows, all of which were successful series that ran for years.

Apart from Uncle Jesse's high school graduation that happened, then didn't, and his changing last name, one thing that always bothered me is -- the way in the early years, Jesse was athletic with an at least average knowledge of sports, then later on, he was a klutz who knew absolutely nothing whatsoever about sports.

However, I feel that, as with the other shows that contained erors, these mistakes had no direct negative effect on the overall quality of the show.

Yeah, but do they have to tell you every single detail of their lives? That's not necessarily a mistake, because they may have used the boat and just not said anything in the show about it.

Jord,
Absolutely right.
We saw the inside of their bathroom a few times, but we weren't made aware of each time one of the used it.

During the eposide when Michelle falls for Steve, and they were going to have a pretend wedding. Well during the wedding steve was standing next to the door and you could clearly see his watch. Michelle tells him to come over to her,and when he gets there his watch is gone. You never saw him take it off.

Ms G: Natalie why dont you show Jo a better place to park her bike

This is extremely minor, but in one of the "Luck Be a Lady" episodes, Danny said to the girls:

"It's illegall to gamble unless you're over 21"

That's not quite phrased correctly, what he should have said was "It's illegall to gamble unless you're 21 and over"

Saying it the first way implies that people who are 21 years old can't gamble.

Yeah, that wasn't really a mistake. It was because of John Stamos' Greek heritage that he wanted to change the name. Actually, it happened before Jesse's grandparents visited. (That was in season 4, his name was Katsopolis since season 2) They never really made it clear on the show why the name was changed since even as a kid he was called Jesse Katsopolis.

Steve having two last names is definately a mistake though.

In one of the first episodes, DJ said Kimmy had four sisters. Not true. She only had a brother, Garth.

Stephanie and DJ both went to Fraiser Steet elementry school. Well, DJ went there all the way through 6th grade before she started Jr. high but Stephanie only went there trhough 5th grade before she started Jr. high. Also, how come DJ and Stephanie didn't go the same Jr. high? Stephanie did say that there was a school rezoning, but was the implied for her or just for her friends who all went to different Jr. highs?

In case anyone is wondering, the real San Francisco school district has used this system for as long as I've been in it:

Kindergarten - 5th grade: Elementary School

6th grade - 8th grade: Middle School (They are not referred to as Junior High schools in San Francisco)

9th grade - 12th grade: High School

There is exactly one mistake used on "Full House". In the intro on all episodes after the commercial break, the credits does not say:

Developed by
THOMAS MILLER
and
ROBERT BOYETT

I thought that the credits does not appear on "Full House" especially "Family Matters" and "Step By Step" did have the credits that says "Developed by Miller & Boyett".

In season 1, episode 15, A pox in our house Joey says he can never get chicken pox and then gets it but then in season 4, episode 75, Viva Las Joey, at then end when he and his father start talking his father says that Joey got his sense of humour from him and Joey says he doesn't think so. Then his dad says sure you did, remember when you had the chicken pox and i watched cartoons with you all day. I thought that he had never had chicken pox and only got them when Stephanie got them.

The upstairs of the Tanner house sometimes has a bathroom next to Stephanie and Michelle's room and sometimes that is Danny's room. They use the door for a bedroom in one episode, for example when Stephanie and DJ make a whole in the wall, and use it as a bathroom, when Jesse and Joey are changing Michelle in the first season.

There seem to be some misunderstanding in the Tanner address. We all know it's 1882 Gerard Street, but in the series, there are some alternatives:
In one episode, when Stephanie is really nervous, talking to a boy she likes, she says in a hurried voice that she lives at 1883 Gerrard Street.
In the episode where Joey finds an old girlfriend, he is talking to her on the phone and tells her to "Come on over. I'm at 1882 Gerrard."
But what is even more strange is that their front porch does not agree with either of those answers. I am not sure which episode it is, but it clearly shows189_. Though I could not clearly see the last number, from the part I saw, it was a 2.

When Teddy Moves away Michelle meets Denise for the "first time" but on Ranger Joe Michelle introduces herself to Denise becuase Teddy doesn't wanted to me a girl lover.

When Stephanie first meats Gia, Gia says she's 2 years older than her and one grade ahead but when they become friends all of a sudden they are the same age.

Stephanie's first date. Technically it's not at the pizza place with DJ and Steve. Stephanie's first date is with Brett after her first little league game

In episode 68 (season 3) "Our Very First Telethon", Becky has to sing a duet with Danny, and she sings very good. Then, later on, in episode 183 (season 8) "My Left and Right Foot", The guys are singing "House at Pooh Corner" to Nicky and Alex, and Becky runs in and says she loves that song. She sings the part" Chase the clouds away..." and she is soooo off key. She sings terrible, and Jesse trys to give her voice lessons.

In one episode Jesse brings his family along (Becky & the boys) on a trip with his band "Hot Daddy & the Monkey Puppets". D.J. is secretly meeting Viper, and she follows them to be with him. When Jesse finds out about them, he fires Viper.Becky then tells Jesse that her mother wasn't too pleased when she started dating him either, and that she had to prove to her that there was more to him than just long hair, rock&roll and a Harley. Though Jesse didn't have long hair when Becky met him. Besides, Becky's mother didn't meet Jesse until the day before the wedding, so how could she complain......?

In the first episode with Rusty, when the doorbell rings, Danny says he'll answer it. But he opens the back door, not the front door, where the bell is.

In episode # 24 (Tanner vs. Gibbler), Kimmy's birthday is in the early fall (September), but in episode # 134 (Birthday Blues), Kimmy's birthday is in midwinter (January).

In the episode where Danny's mom comes by and wants to help out, Dany tells the others to leave the house a mess. Then his mother says that she has never seen such a mess before. But what about the episode in the first season where all three mothers of the guys come by ?

In episode #139, Jesse doesn't seem to like the song from Bonanza. But in episode #114 Becky and Jesse are singing this song to the twins, and he seems to be having fun.

In episode # 86 (The Wedding, part 1), when Joey tries to talk Jesse out of skydiving, Jesse says that he took all the lessons for skydiving, but he NEVER jumped. However, in episode # 6 (Daddy's Home), Jesse says that he met his girlfriend Adriana while skydiving, and Adriana says that Jesse "missed his target and dropped into her Alfa Romeo."

Whenever any of the cast is walking upstairs, they are supposed to be shown coming up from the livingroom stairway. In the episode where the dog Minnie shows up, Stephanie walks up the stairs in the kitchen and ends up on the stairway that is supposed to be the livingroom stairway. Its the same thing with Jesse when he comes home from touring with his band all summer in the fifth season opener.

First, in episode 11, Joey says he came to the house, also to do the laundry. So he must know something about it. Later, Joey doesn't know what to do, and he puts colored and whit together, on the hottest water possible

In episode #38 'Baby Love', Becky introduces Howie as the son of her sister Conny. On the show, she says to him 'wave to grandma Rose and grandpa Wilbur'. But when Becky and Jesse get married, in episode #86 + 87, Becky's parents are called 'Nedrah and Kenneth', and not 'Rose and Wilbur'

In episode #45, Tanner Island, DJ says that Mickey Mouse is make-believe. Stephanie says that he can not be make-believe because they shook his hand when they were at Disney Land. But, when they tried to go to Disney Land, they got fogged in at home, and never made it, until years later.

When Full House first aired, DJ and Kimmy were 9 and lived next door to each other. When Full House stopped, DJ and Kimmy were 18, and they still lived next door to each other. In the episode where Danny and Michelle get obcessed with cleaning, Kimmy remarks that her family moves into a place, trashes it for five years, then moves out. In the 9 years the Tanners lived on Full house, the Giblers never moved once.

Where did Cousin Steve come from? Danny only has one sister, Wendy. She is too young to have a son that old. Steve always calls Danny "Uncle Danny", and Danny says that Steve is his nephew. So, he has to have a brother or sister that they never introduced on the show.

In Episode 15, Dj says she's going to her first slumber party, but in episode 72, DJ says that her first slumber party was with Pam. How could this be, if Pam already died in episode 15 ?

In the episode where Michelle, Aaron, Derek and Lisa form their own secret club, there is a scene where they jump up and down on the beds. Watch Michelle's left foot carefully. First, she wears two socks, and then one sock, then two, then she's wearing one sock again.

In the episode with the twin festival, In one shot Nicky and Alex are dressed like Elvis holding guitars, in the next shot they don't have guitars, and then out of no where they come back again.

Steph has to make a report and write about DJ and Steve's fights, when they don't fight Steph made up a note and put it in steves book, the blooper is, when they make a joke with steph, and steve tells : We can't get on with this, let's get married, when he finished his line steph blow out milk what she was drinking but the next shot the table was all clean, and when Steph gives Danny the towel, and he trows it back on the table , watch it! It will suddenly move to the other side of the table! Even Steph's Glasses moved

In the episode "Stephanie's wild ride", the one Michelle is playing with her computer and Jesse, Joey and Danny are crazy about the game. When Stephanie gets home Michelle is sitting on the side of the couch, and when Steph closes the door Michelle is suddenly sitting in the middle!

The episode is about that the family celebrate christmas on an airport, because of a heavy snow storm. When they celebrate christmas eve on a cold airport, they went to sleep. The next morning Jesse turn on the light switch and started to say his line, but Stephanie started to early with her line and you can hear her say "It's... " When Jesse is finished it's her turn and she says "It's Christmas !"

The episode is about Stephanie who went to a Bee-party with Becky (who coudn't make it, so Joey went with her). In the intro Michelle build a building with toy blocks. The colors of the building were from top to bottom "Red, Green, Blue, Blue, yellow". When DJ entered the room and Michelle says" I can't reach it I'm too little" The colors were suddenly from top to bottom "Red, Green, Blue, RED!! ,Yellow" Then when DJ walks towards the tower and Michelle says "Be very careful" It suddenly change back into "Red, Green, Blue, BLUE !!!!, Yellow.

This is in episode #60, " Bye, Bye Birdie ". When Danny first takes Michelle to preschool, he enters with his suit jacket unbuttoned. But then in the next shot, it is buttoned. Then it happens once again.

In the episode where all three guys parents come and the house is a mess in the first season jesse comes in with his shirt tucked in the as the scene plays on it is untucked then tucked back in a couple of times....watch it and you'll see.

In episode # 147 (Wrong-Way Tanner), Stephanie tapes embarrassing moments of people in the family. After taping Becky singing "Bad Boys" to Nicky and Alex, Stephanie says that the best part of the tape is a toss up between Becky's singing and Jesse's pep talk to his hair, implying that Stephanie had already taped Jesse, prior to Becky. However, when the tape is shown later in the episode, Becky's singing is on the tape BEFORE, not after, Jesse's pep talk.

In the episode where Stephanie is in the spelling contest, Michelle is also trying to learn how to read. In one scene, DJ is trying to help her by writing "Michelle" on the chalkboard....watch closely.... "Michelle" is written two different ways throughout this scene.

In the episode 'double trouble' michelle introduces herself to Teddy bullwinkle style but she already met him on the earlier episodes

In the episode 'double trouble' michelle introduces herself to Teddy bullwinkle style but she already met him on the earlier episodes

In the episode with the dog show, during the dog show, they scene is Michelle with her hair in pigtails and her hair is CURLY. Then in the next scene, her hair is in pigtails and is STRAIGHT!! I think that that is when they swiched the twins during scenes.

In the Episode 'Fraternity Reunion, When Jesse walks into the kitchen and picks up one of Joey's flounder tarts and sticks it in his mouth he wants to spit it out....he walks over to the little recycling bins and the cans one opens up and then Jesse spits in Joey's oven mit. Then...he walks back over by Becky after she walks in with Nicky and Alex, hoping Jesse can explain to them what forgiveness means but then we catch a glimpse of the can's box and it's shut...and then a little bit later, we see it's open again.

In the episode where jesse gets interviewed by that lady for the Loan for his smash club, at the beggining When he gets the Mail that tells him the person who owned it before gave it to him, Becky says remeber last year when they had the big sellout(Something like that) but then when Danny is reading the letter it says its been closed for 2 years

In the first episode, when DJ 'moved' to the garage, Jesse tries to bribe her to get back to her own room. Then when she comes in the living room, JESSE tells her the deal is off, because his girl has gone, and she was part of the deal. Then at the end of the episode, DJ decides to go back to her old room, and DJ tells Jesse the deal is back on, and he even wants to pay her the promised money, but he was the one that broke the deal, not DJ.

In episode 28, Michelle is painting. At a moment, she Michelle touches Danny's trousers with a pencil with red paint. Danny starts cleaning his trousers immediately, but when you look good, you can see there is no paint at the trousers at all!

In the episode "It Was a Dark and Stormy Night",when Michelle and Stephanie were in the cabin after going back to release Gilbert(the bunny), Michelles hair was soaking wet and dripping down her face. Then they turned the camera over to Stephanie and when they turned it back to Michelle, her hair was dry and done.

In the beginning of the episode "Our very first telethon" Kimmy phoned DJ to tell her dad that she had her monocycle with her. But when DJ's phone rang, Kimmy was writing something and didn't touch her phone

In the episode whecca Rebecca wanted to jump from the bridge then she decided that Jesse will jump with her too and Jesse said that he's afraid of heights but its not true because at his wedding day he skydived !!! so how can he skydive if he's afraid of height?

Amazingly, after Jesse gets out of jail, and to the church on his wedding day, he is perfectly clean after he falls in the tomatoes.

In the episode when Stephanie and DJ made the hole in Danny's room, when they were painting the hole there was paint and a newspaper but when Danny came in this was all gone.

In the episode where Jesse tries to prove to becky that they can manage another baby, At night, they say ALEX has a fever, but the next morning, Danny askes if NICKY is feeling better, and jesse replies,"he's still sick."

In episode 176, Claire and Present Danger, when the Tanners, and Gia and her mom are at the smash club Michelle comes in a sundress but then goes into the bathroom and changes into a leather jacket and skirt with her hair painted green and acts like a punk. Danny tells her to change her clothes and she goes to the bathroom and comes out perfectly normal in SECONDS! With the spray in her hair it would take a shower for her to be back to normal. I think they switched twins to do this.

In one episode, Jesse is watching Becky on Wake Up San Francisco, and he says to Joey that Becky's gonna let him know on the show wether he has a date with her tonight. Then Jesse says she's gonna give me one wink for yes, and two for no. Then, Becky says Jesse, and gives two blinks. Then Jesse says hot dog Jospeh a double wink, chill that champagne pal. If she blinked twice, doesn't that mean not to date ?

In episode #45, Tanner Island, If you look closely behind Joey when he sees the Girl in the water and hugs her but nobody is their, you will be able to see a building in the backround. (and if they couldn't find shelter they could have just stayed there)

In the episode where Danny meets Vicky's mum, Vicky is introducing Liz to everybody and when Jesse shakes her hand he calls her Judy.

the episode when they met Minnie, she ran out of uncle jesse's room into michelles and knocked over the blocks and she said "youd better fix those" and in the next scene the blocks were back up but in a different order

In the second episode where Jesse has to watch the girls on the first night he moves in, Stephanie puts her head down after Jesse tells her he doesn't want to tell a bedtime story and one of her barettes is out of her hair. Then all of the sudden it is back in again.

In the episode where Stephanie starts Kindergarten, DJ says she was firiends with Kimmy since Kindergarten. Years later when DJ forgot Kimmy's birthday, Danny says you've been friends with Kimmy for six years. Kimmy and DJ were 16 in that episode, not 11.

In the episode where michelle starts preschool and lets the bird fly out of the cage, when michelle was crowned a princess for sharing and danny is talking to her, if you look carefully one second the crown fits her and sits on her head nicely, the next minute the crown is too big and it falls over her ears

In the episode "Stephanie's Wild Ride", Michelle is playing a video game. The system she is playing it on is a Super Nintendo Entertainment System, but the controller she is playing with was made for the original Nintendo Entertainment System and is not compatible with any other system. Also, later on in frustration, Michelle goes over to the game box and yanks the game cartridge out. This is not possible because you have to push a button down for the game to be released from the system. Pulling it out like Michelle did would break the system.

In the Yankee doodle play episode in the 6th season, Derek tries out for the part of Yankee Doodle asking for the key of E. However, during the performance, he sings in the key of F.

When Becky is about to have the babies (Happy Birthday Babies Part I), at the beginning of the first part, there is 2 hours and 29 minutes to go until Michelle's party. Then at the end of the show (at least 20 minutes later), there is only 2 hrs. and 13 minutes until her party. Wouldn't more time have gone by then that?

In the episode when the twins are brought home from the hospital in the 5th season, when Jesse switches their booties and mixes them up, look at Jesse in the scene in the kitchen when he's talking to the twins as they sit in their seats on the table. During this scene, his appearance changes. One shot, his hair is messy and he has sideburns-2 seconds later, his hair is fixed and brushed differently than it was and his sideburns are shaved-yet 2 more seconds later, it's messy again and the sideburns returned. In his next scene and all the rest he has in that episode, his hair is messy and the sideburns are there. By the next episode, the one where Danny is bachelor of the month, his hair is brushed like I mentioned above and the sideburns are gone.

In the episode in the 8th season when Michelle buys the donkey with her lemonade money, listen carefully in the background in the scene when Shorty wakes them all up. I think it's either Jesse or Becky who says "Say goodnight" and then everyone says "Goodnight" and Jesse, Becky and the boys start to head back upstairs. If you listen real closely in the background, you can hear Dave Coulier say "Goodnight, JOHN".

In the Hawaii episode in the 3rd season in the last scene when they are about to go onstage and they are trying to get Jesse to sing. They are pushing him out onstage and I think it's Jodie Sweetin who mouths (you have to read lips) "Come on, John". If it's not her, it's Candace Cameron I think

When the family goes to Disney land, and Samantha and Jesse come home from playing tennis they close the door. But when they sit down on the steps the door is open. Then its shut again. This continues many times.

At the beginning of the 7th season, Steve moves in to his own apartment. In the episode where Steve and DJ break up, Steve says he is going home for dinner because his mother told him not to be late.

In "Bye Bye Birdie", Jesse tells Danny the story of how he accidentally killed the class fish when he was a kid, and to this day couldn't eat sushi. But in "Is it true about Stephanie?" the whole family eats sushi, Jesse included.

In "Beach Boy Bingo", DJ wins tickets to a Beach Boys consert. But before she calls, nobody on the radio announces the phone number.

In Episode #80 (Danny In Charge) Jesse and Joey go to the woods to film a fox. But when you look close to the 'foxhole'you can see that at the end there is light, so it's just a tunnel, and foxholes never have two exits...

In the episode where Becky and Jesse are married and she tells him about what a good idea it would be to live in Danny's attic, instead of her house, md way through the episode, when its breakfast time and Danny brings a plate full of pancakes to the table, Michelle takes the whole plate, pours syrup all over the pancakes, looks at the others and says, "You better make some more. These people look hungry." But when Jesse enters the kitchen and the camera focuses on Michelle , the pancakes have no syrup over them, and if I'm not mistaken, the pile looks smaller.

The episode where Wake up San Francisco is filming in a horse barn, DJ and Kimmy buy a horse- at the end of the episode where DJ has brought the horse home and uncle Jesse and Joey are in the living room with it, one minute the horse is on the rug, the next shot it isn't. It is standing on the hardwood floor.

I hate when show history isn't stuck to. I get why they had Jesse be a high school drop out, but up until there there was always the impression that he had finished school. I remember him in one episode saying that he refused to wear the graduation hat because it was mess up his hair.

God bless you always!!!

Hi there. I know that you copied and pasted all of these mistakes from the Full House website, but I actually came up with some corrections to a majority of these mistakes, based on the assumption that numerous fans submitted them to that site. What I did was "quote" each mistake I thought would be corrected, and then posted said correction below it. Hope you enjoy them! :)

First of all, it is very likely that Joey was just pretending to be all tough and macho by not wanting to admit that he had chicken pox just like everybody else – this kind of comical embellishment fits into his character. Secondly, although extremely rare, it's actually possible for a person to have chicken pox more than once in his or her lifetime, which was likely the case with Joey (and Jesse as well). It is a lot more common, however, for people that had chicken pox during childhood to suffer from shingles at a much later age.

Production sets are not part of the series and are not valid mistakes.

1) In the instance with Stephanie (Season 8 episode, "All Stood Up"), listen closely again and you can hear that she does indeed say the correct address number. The nervousness in her voice only makes it sound like she's saying '1883.'

2) In the instance with Joey (Season 2 episode, "Blast From the Past") where he just says '1882 Girard,' this is not even a mistake. There is a strong possibility that only one street in San Francisco bears the name Girard, and daily traffic on that street could be busy enough for it to become well-known in the Bay Area. So Joey could have just said 'Girard' and his old girlfriend would have known right away which street he was talking about. If San Francisco DID have another street that shared the exact same name, he would have had to be more specific and include the street's suffix and/or prefix.

3) In the instance in "D.J.'s Choice," that would be considered trivia. Production sets are not part of the series and are not valid mistakes

When Teddy Moves away Michelle meets Denise for the "first time" but on Ranger Joe Michelle introduces herself to Denise becuase Teddy doesn't wanted to me a girl lover.

I highly doubt that, at that young of an age, either Michelle or Denise could recall meeting one another before on the Ranger Joe set, considering they only socialized with each other on just that one day. And even if they did remember, there's no reason for them not to talk about their previous encounter while off-camera. Additionally, Denise may have been a student at another school in the Bay Area before transferring to Michelle's school right after Teddy moved away.

When Stephanie first meats Gia, Gia says she's 2 years older than her and one grade ahead but when they become friends all of a sudden they are the same age.

That is not correct. Gia wasn't exactly doing well academically when she and Stephanie first met, so it shouldn't come as a shock to you that she was required to repeat the seventh grade the following school year. This can easily be verified in the Season 8 episode, "Breaking Away," when Gia asks Michelle if she is ready for her first day of third grade, and Michelle responds by sarcastically asking Gia if she is ready for her third year of seventh grade.

Stephanie's first date. Technically it's not at the pizza place with DJ and Steve. Stephanie's first date is with Brett after her first little league game

No, that is not the case in either episode ("Stephanie Plays the Field" and "The Dating Game," in chronological order). In "The Dating Game,", Stephanie was only led by D.J. to believe that she and Josh were going on a date to the pizza parlor, only to realize that Josh simply invited her to hang out with him and his baseball teammates. And in "Stephanie Plays the Field," Stephanie and Brett were just going inside her house to watch TV together after the little league game – this doesn't even fall under the category of a date.

Becky's singing voice was always decent; it's likely harmonizing with other singers that was her real weakness. Harmony singing is a much more challenging skill to develop than some people think, as opposed to just singing the main melody of a song. So Jesse may have had to correct that aspect of it by secretly coaxing Becky into a "singing" lesson.

There is no mistake here. Parents, especially mothers, don't have to meet the boyfriend face-to-face before disliking him. In Becky's case, there was a lot not to like about Jesse. And while it's true that Jesse had cut off his long hair just prior to meeting Becky, the mere fact that he had long hair before (which I'm sure Becky made aware of in the beginning) still would've only compounded the mother's initial disapproval of him. But once the mother saw how happy Becky was and finally met Jesse (like in so many real-life instances), she grew to like him.

In the first episode with Rusty, when the doorbell rings, Danny says he'll answer it. But he opens the back door, not the front door, where the bell is.

Not necessarily so. Considering how large the house is, Danny could have installed a doorbell extension for the back of the house – very common practice for homeowners. Furthermore, Danny may have informed the rest of the household beforehand that Cindy (Rusty's mother) would be arriving at the back door that day.

In episode # 24 (Tanner vs. Gibbler), Kimmy's birthday is in the early fall (September), but in episode # 134 (Birthday Blues), Kimmy's birthday is in midwinter (January).

Unless Kimmy's family had already planned something in advance for her birthday, along with other untimely circumstances, which probably would've forced D.J. to push her own plans for Kimmy's surprise party back four months early.

In the episode where Danny's mom comes by and wants to help out, Dany tells the others to leave the house a mess. Then his mother says that she has never seen such a mess before. But what about the episode in the first season where all three mothers of the guys come by ?

The two episodes in question ("The Return of Grandma" and "Granny Tanny," in chronological order) are not consecutive, and two years pass between them. It's completely plausible that Danny's mother had forgotten all about the first mess Danny had made – this kind of mild forgetfulness (as opposed to dementia) is very common in old age.

In episode #139, Jesse doesn't seem to like the song from Bonanza. But in episode #114 Becky and Jesse are singing this song to the twins, and he seems to be having fun.

These two episodes ("Driving Miss D.J." and "Subterranean Graduation Blues," in chronological order) are not consecutive. Jesse said in the latter episode that he visited his dentist where he took a disliking to the Bonanza theme song due to a horrifying experience he had with a dentist drill while the song was being played on the office speaker system. So it's likely for that particular incident to have occurred sometime after the "Driving Miss D.J." episode.

In the first of the two wedding episodes, Jesse told Joey specifically that he never jumped because it was too windy. What he probably meant was that it was too windy during the jumping part of the skydiving course, and may have decided to forego the jump altogether and go at it alone later on. And considering how long it had been since he last skydived, it's actually reasonable to imagine that Jesse felt nervous to skydive again having not done it since meeting Adriana.

Production sets are not part of the series and are not valid mistakes.

First, in episode 11, Joey says he came to the house, also to do the laundry. So he must know something about it. Later, Joey doesn't know what to do, and he puts colored and whit together, on the hottest water possible

Joey had never really said that he was a laundry expert. In the case with him doing his own laundry in addition to Becky's, it's reasonable to assume that Joey got ahead of himself and just threw in Becky's whites and darks together on the hottest water setting, not realizing his mistake until after the fact.

It IS possible that Howie could have two sets of grandparents: Nedra and Kenneth on the Donaldson side, and Rose and Wilbur on the Anderson side (which is Howie's surname). A good verification of this is that Becky mentions in the series finale that she had one hour to buy a wedding dress for her sister when she eloped in an undisclosed location many years ago, so she had to have been referring to Connie. At the same time, however, if you pay close attention during each of Connie's appearances on the show, you'll notice that she doesn't have a wedding ring on her hand. So we can only assume that Connie either got divorced or became widowed shortly after giving birth to Howie, because her husband was obviously never introduced on the show (and neither were Rose or Wilbur, who evidently would be the husband's parents as explained earlier).

In episode #45, Tanner Island, DJ says that Mickey Mouse is make-believe. Stephanie says that he can not be make-believe because they shook his hand when they were at Disney Land. But, when they tried to go to Disney Land, they got fogged in at home, and never made it, until years later.

First of all, it was Disney WORLD, in Florida – not Disneyland, in their home state of California – where the Tanners went to "years later." Second of all, it's not that hard to believe that Danny could've postponed the girls' Disneyland trip to the upcoming summer season.

This is a joke, not a mistake. It's in Kimmy's character to embellish things like that for comedic effect as she is not that intelligent of a person.

Where did Cousin Steve come from? Danny only has one sister, Wendy. She is too young to have a son that old. Steve always calls Danny "Uncle Danny", and Danny says that Steve is his nephew. So, he has to have a brother or sister that they never introduced on the show.

In the Season 8 episode, "You Pet It, You Bought It," Stephanie makes a brief mention of an Uncle Gus, who is presumably Danny's brother.

In Episode 15, Dj says she's going to her first slumber party, but in episode 72, DJ says that her first slumber party was with Pam. How could this be, if Pam already died in episode 15 ?

A special mother-daughter slumber party organized by the Honey Bee club is completely different from an ordinary slumber party strictly among young girls. Furthermore, it was never said by D.J. or anyone else that the Honey Bee party was her "first" slumber party.

In the episode with the twin festival, In one shot Nicky and Alex are dressed like Elvis holding guitars, in the next shot they don't have guitars, and then out of no where they come back again.

If you look for a split second, you can see Jesse unstrapping the guitars from Nicky and Alex. And the twins could've easily picked the guitars back up again while off-screen.

After Stephanie closes the door, there is a dissolve editing effect, indicating that some time had passed which would've allowed Michelle to switch sitting positions.

She says it so he knows she taped it. Jesse's pep talk to his hair is likely his morning ritual, so Stephanie may have taped another one of his pep talks on a different morning just after taping Becky. And from the way Jesse was talking when the whole family viewed the tape later on, he probably already knew anyway that he was being taped again that morning.

In the episode 'double trouble' michelle introduces herself to Teddy bullwinkle style but she already met him on the earlier episodes

How do you know this? According to the IMDB website, Tahj Mowry (the actor who played Teddy) does not have a guest role credit in any Full House episode prior to "Double Trouble," and nothing within the show specifies that Michelle and Teddy met each other before that, either.

First of all, how can you even possibly prove that the TV crew swapped out twins on the spot during the taping of that scene, especially if you keep in mind that most sitcoms film almost all the scenes of an episode for only a few hours a day on set in front of a live studio audience? And with multiple takes, as well as wardrobe/hair/makeup changes among the entire cast and production set changes in between takes, they surely wouldn't have needed both twins to be present at the same time just for those few hours, unless a particular scene was filmed on location somewhere else using a different twin than that of one used in the studio, or if each twin was used separately in a particular episode which had a cold open that did not set up its plot (i.e. one twin in the main episode and the other in its unrelated teaser), or if certain shots required both twins to appear on screen together, etc.

Second of all, let's forget for a moment that Mary-Kate and Ashley took turns playing Michelle and just concentrate on the idea that this character is supposed to be only one person.

Now, with that being said, it is actually not "seconds" later when Michelle returns to normal. To start with, after we see Michelle go back into the restroom to change, we then see Jesse informing Viper (who was, at the time, depressed over a disagreement with D.J.) that their newly-formed band will be starting in 10 minutes, followed by them involving D.J. into their conversation, all of which lasts roughly two minutes -- so there clearly had to be an eight-minute time lapse off-screen between Jesse and Viper going backstage and the band playing their opening song, and that would've given Michelle plenty of time to wash all the makeup off her face and change back into her regular clothes.

Furthermore, it's not a stretch to believe that the new band could have followed their opening song with a half-hour-to-hour-long set before a short intermission (as noted later on when the band eventually returns to the stage for a second set). A dissolve editing effect shown from when the band finished their song to when Michelle came back out should be an obvious indication that even more time had passed off-screen. Not to mention you can spot Danny in the audience watching the band's first performance while Michelle is nowhere to be seen – another dead giveaway that she was still in the restroom changing.

And finally, take another good look at Michelle's hair. There is not a single noticeable hint that she dyed (not painted) her hair green whatsoever; it is clearly her natural blonde hair all throughout. At the very most, she simply teased it up and applied hairspray on it to keep it in place and subsequently had to wash all that off as well (which you don't necessarily need a shower for – you can easily do it in a restroom sink, especially if you're short for time) and then finish it off with a hair dryer and hair brush. And I'm sure Michelle came fully prepared with her wardrobe and all her hair and makeup accessories anyway just in case her rocker-chick look ever backfired (hence the bag she brought with her to the club).

Wrong episode. This happened in Season 8's "Under the Influence," which had D.J. and Kimmy attending a fraternity party where Kimmy ended up getting drunk. "Fraternity Reunion," which was in Season 3, had Danny and Joey dressing up in drag in order to sneak into an all-female fraternity club so they could reclaim their college mascot.

1) The blowout (not sellout) that Becky was talking about was the boisterous funeral held for Buzz Markle (the Smash Club's original owner), who died approximately a year after he closed the club before Jesse assumed ownership.

2) Markle's funeral could've been held at a larger local facility meant to accommodate such event with an atmosphere a lot livelier than a normal funeral would have.

Mistake by the character, not the episode.

In episode 28, Michelle is painting. At a moment, she Michelle touches Danny's trousers with a pencil with red paint. Danny starts cleaning his trousers immediately, but when you look good, you can see there is no paint at the trousers at all!

I have watched this scene, and from what I saw, it looked like Michelle's paintbrush barely even touched Danny's trousers, if at all, indicating that there was indeed no paint on them all along. And with Danny being a neat-freak anyway, it was probably just a natural instinct for him to wipe off whatever he thought came in contact with his clothes.

In the episode whecca Rebecca wanted to jump from the bridge then she decided that Jesse will jump with her too and Jesse said that he's afraid of heights but its not true because at his wedding day he skydived !!! so how can he skydive if he's afraid of height?

He never said he was afraid of heights. For one thing, bungee jumping is a drastically different activity because it involves a much more plummeting fall towards gravity with a tendency of giving you a higher adrenaline rush. Whereas with skydiving, a parachute is used to slow your landing down, giving you the advantage of enjoying a bird's-eye view of the land below you. In this case, Jesse was only indicating that he had never bungee-jumped before and was feeling rather uneasy about taking such risk until he actually did so – no mistake is made here.

Amazingly, after Jesse gets out of jail, and to the church on his wedding day, he is perfectly clean after he falls in the tomatoes.

That's because most of the tomato stains got on his skydiving suit, and I'm sure that he could've requested a stain remover wipe from one of the passengers on the church choir bus to clean up whatever stains were on his tuxedo, which didn't even look real heavily soiled in the first place. Nothing really "amazing" about it.

In the episode when Stephanie and DJ made the hole in Danny's room, when they were painting the hole there was paint and a newspaper but when Danny came in this was all gone.

How is this a mistake? D.J. and Stephanie obviously didn't want their father to suspect what they were doing in his bedroom with some newspapers and a couple of paint cans (as if he wasn't already suspicious about why the girls were in his room in the first place), and it couldn't have been that hard for one of them to send the other to quickly hide those objects in another room in the house (more than likely in their own closet or underneath their beds) while Michelle was downstairs stalling Danny – which was the whole point. The time between Michelle going downstairs and her warning her sisters that Danny was coming up to his room would've been plenty enough for D.J. and Stephanie to rearrange and conceal everything in short order. This does not classify as an episode mistake whatsoever.

In the episode where Jesse tries to prove to becky that they can manage another baby, At night, they say ALEX has a fever, but the next morning, Danny askes if NICKY is feeling better, and jesse replies,"he's still sick."

Mistake by the character, not the episode.

In the episode with the dog show, during the dog show, they scene is Michelle with her hair in pigtails and her hair is CURLY. Then in the next scene, her hair is in pigtails and is STRAIGHT!! I think that that is when they swiched the twins during scenes.

A similar entry has been submitted and corrected. There is no possible way to determine something like that, given the fact that most sitcoms film virtually all the scenes of one episode for only a few hours a day. Not to mention that California's child entertainment laws only limit those under 18 to work no more than five consecutive days in such industry, which would probably have given the show's producers the flexibility to use one twin per episode (unless one twin was used when part of an episode was taped in the studio and a separate twin was used when another part of the same episode was taped on location elsewhere, or if one twin was used in a certain episode and another twin was used in its opening teaser that didn't follow that episode's plot, or perhaps if both twins were needed for simultaneous on-screen appearances) – and that's not counting all of the other child actors on the show. Furthermore, it is likely that whichever twin was on set that day probably only had her ponytails straightened out by a stylist during a break from taping and were left straight for the remainder of the shoot.

Mistake by the character, not the episode.

In episode #45, Tanner Island, If you look closely behind Joey when he sees the Girl in the water and hugs her but nobody is their, you will be able to see a building in the backround. (and if they couldn't find shelter they could have just stayed there)

True, but there are a couple of main takeaways here to consider:

1) Joey may have walked to another part of the island and never noticed the building, since he was the only person in that area and was distracted by the mirage of the Hawaiian lady.

2) There's really no way of knowing what kind of building that is – it may be a storage unit or small warehouse of some sort that is kept locked at all times, or it may be a hazardous structure that had been condemned.

1) In the "Birthday Blues" episode, D.J. actually corrected Danny by saying that she and Kimmy were best friends for SEVEN years up to that point – not six, as Danny had initially said.

2) In "The First Day of School," D.J. only said that she and Kimmy first met in kindergarten; that doesn't mean they became close friends from that very moment on – in fact, D.J. added that she didn't even talk to Kimmy for the first six months, and she also said that they just so happened to have shared the exact same classes up until the fifth grade, so they could've just gradually become acquaintances during that time. It was not until the Gibblers moved next door to the Tanners (around 1985-86, which would be chronologically correct from D.J.'s "Birthday Blues" remark) that D.J. and Kimmy started to bond and had been best friends ever since.

In the Yankee doodle play episode in the 6th season, Derek tries out for the part of Yankee Doodle asking for the key of E. However, during the performance, he sings in the key of F.

This is because Derek was singing two different songs in two separate events. In the first one, an audition was being held and the original Yankee Doodle song was used as the main audition song. Furthermore, Jesse played that song in the key of C, and Derek requested that Jesse play it in the key of E for him, perhaps as he felt he was more comfortable singing it in that key. In the second event, the actual play occurred, and the song Derek was singing – "The Yankee Doodle Boy" – was chosen specifically for his role, and was arranged to be sung in the key of F. This is intentional and not a mistake.

First of all, there was two hours and NINETEEN – not thirteen – minutes left before Michelle's party towards the very end of the episode. Secondly, there really was no likelihood of the Tanners going into every little detail of every little story that they shared with Michelle (what five-year-old child wants to hear excessive details anyway?), so they probably kept their stories short and sweet – nothing that wouldn't have filled up 10 minutes. But to the TV audience, that would've defeated the main purpose of the episode, so the flashbacks were shown to stretch out the time.

I have watched both episodes and I can tell you that the way Jesse's hair was fixed in "Nicky and/or Alexander" is not even close to how it was fixed in "Bachelor of the Month." For starters, his sideburns were never shaved off in the former episode because the length of his hair was just enough to obscure them somehow. It was not until the latter episode that the sideburns were gone, and his hair looked much neater.

No, he does not say, "Good night, John." Listen closely again and you'll hear that he only says, "Good night." He is just putting more emphasis on the word "good."

They are both mouthing words, but neither one of them looks like they're saying, "Come on, John." DJ appears to be saying something like, "yes," while Stephanie appears to just be saying, "come on."

At the beginning of the 7th season, Steve moves in to his own apartment. In the episode where Steve and DJ break up, Steve says he is going home for dinner because his mother told him not to be late.

Perhaps Steve had gotten evicted from his apartment halfway through the seventh season for either not paying his rent or because of the commotion he likely caused during his tenure there (for example, turning up his stereo at deafening levels to the frustration of his fellow tenants).

In "Bye Bye Birdie", Jesse tells Danny the story of how he accidentally killed the class fish when he was a kid, and to this day couldn't eat sushi. But in "Is it true about Stephanie?" the whole family eats sushi, Jesse included.

The two episodes in question are not consecutive, and four years pass between them. It's entirely possible that Jesse may have fully recovered from his "fish murderer" experience and decided to begin eating sushi in that time frame – nothing out of the ordinary.

In "Beach Boy Bingo", DJ wins tickets to a Beach Boys consert. But before she calls, nobody on the radio announces the phone number.

I'm sure that the disc jockey announced the phone number beforehand off-camera. Just because we don't actually hear him announce the number doesn't mean that he didn't.

In Episode #80 (Danny In Charge) Jesse and Joey go to the woods to film a fox. But when you look close to the 'foxhole'you can see that at the end there is light, so it's just a tunnel, and foxholes never have two exits...

Not exactly true. Many of the main fox dens have several entrance and exit areas that are used primarily for breeding, while smaller dens typically have one. For more information on this, check out this website: http://www.wildlife-removal.com/fox.html.

The horse could've easily been fidgeting around while off-screen.

I can help on a couple of mistakes regarding Jesse. First, his alleged graduation from high school:

While this is a very noticeable mistake, there are actually two theories that could've played a role in this turn of events which were never disclosed in the series:

1) Jesse may have initially faked his graduation story in order to cover up the truth about his high school withdrawal, perhaps out of shame and embarrassment, until he was eventually pressured by D.J. and the rest of the family to finally come clean.

2) You don't necessarily need to have graduated high school in order to attend your class reunion. If you were a student at a particular school at one time or another and you managed to gain enough popularity within your class, the reunion committee can still include your name in their invitation lists regardless of your lack of education or how short or long your overall tenure at the school was.

The second regards Jesse's athletic abilities, particularly in the episode where Cousin Steve comes by and they were all playing basketball:

First of all, where did you even get the idea that Jesse used to be athletic and used to know how to play basketball? It's a very complex sport that involves much more than just dribbling the ball and passing it around to one another (in the Cousin Steve episode as I just mentioned). Jesse was simply wanting to participate in a game so he could spend some long lost quality time with Cousin Steve, and his below-average skills -- or lack thereof -- were not a major concern to him. After all, music and cars are obviously where Jesse excel at the best. Any interest that he had in sports at all was minimal, and his overall poor athleticism would've diminished it over time, hence his inability to make a simple basket in "Air Jesse."

jesse changing last name
