Out of all of his siblings, from what I've seen, I'd say Alex was probably closest to Andy, but if it was just out of Jennifer and Mallory, which do you think Alex had the better relationship with? I've seen most of season three, and about twenty other episodes that come from Seasons 1, 4 and 5, and from what I've seen, I'd guess it's pretty even-footed. I'd be inclined to go with Mallory because, although they tend to clash a little, she's closer to him in age than Jennifer is.

Probably Mallory. They do argue a lot, but they seem to be pretty close despite their differences.

He had a really good loving relationship with Mallory, but I think he could relate more to Jennifer 'coz she was smarter. Like in the environmental episode (Trees keep falling on my head or something, its in season 7) they were having a debate of both their views and in the last episode (pt1) they were debating over who was smarter (LoL I loved that part) and Alex seemed to genuinely respect her (which seems pretty rare for a person like him). They also seemed to argue ALOT less than he and Mallory did.
