I am a huge dick van dyke lover and am starting to get the box sets. In the first season Laura and Rob sing 2 songs... one is "you wonderful you" and the other is "mountain greenery". I have searched the internet for days and i can't seem to find a downloadable version of the 2 songs. If anyone knows where i can find them that would be AMAZING!

You know, so many greats in the recording industry have recorded those songs in the past, Mel Torme, Ella Fitzgerald, Gene Kelley & Judy Garland, Diana Ross, and more, that if you say you can't find them, that tells me you must be referring to TDVDS versions sung by Dick and Mary. If so, join the club! We'd all love to have those (in stereo for me, please) :rock: .

This isn't what your looking for, but Dick Van Dyke put out a CD called "Put On A Happy Face". It's really good! Mary isn't featured on it, but Dick Van Dyke sounds wonderful! The CD is pretty good quality too. I found my copy on Ebay for a few dollars (by a few I mean about 2 or 3 dollars).

I am working on trying to record it off the actual dvd... im just trying to figure out whether its a copyright or not... but if not i will post the songs on the internet and then the world of The Dick van Dyke show will be happy once again props:

The only real way to get the songs is to indeed dub them from DVD to your pc or to a CD. I have also looked high and low for Dick Van Dyke show songs, and this appears the only way to do it.

I think if we all share them, and don't try and sell a CD of them to each other, it should be OK, copyright-wise.....

It'd be really cool to have ALL of the Dick Van Dyke Show songs!!!!
