Flying High
Performed by the Band
If your life or your love are in danger
Or your heart is in distress,
Call International Rescue
By sending them an S.O.S.
Then you’ll see Thunderbirds
Flying way up high,
Thunderbirds
Roaring through the sky
If you are on the edge of disaster
Or you’re stranded in outer space,
Call International Rescue,
No matter what the time or the place
Then you’ll see Thunderbirds
Hurrying to save the day,
Thunderbirds
Thundering on their way,
Thunderbirds,
Thunderbirds
Shooting Star
Performed by the Band
Sometimes, I feel you are cheating me,
Then you kiss me and my mind is free
But then I think I should let you know,
That I got friends
So, baby, listen to me
A shooting star will shoot you
And Mars will go to war,
The man on the moon will jump on you
If you don’t love me no more
I saw you in someone else’s car,
You told me that he won’t go too far,
That may be so but you let him know,
That I got friends
So, baby, listen to me
A shooting star will shoot you
And Mars will go to war,
The man on the moon will jump on you
If you don’t love me no more
You tell me that I’m the man for you
But you do things you should never do
So now hear this warning once again,
Yes, I got friends
So, baby, listen to me
A shooting star will shoot you
And Mars will go to war,
The man on the moon will jump on you
If you don’t love me no more
If you don’t stop making me lose face,
I will have you put up there in space
So just do what I’m a-telling you
Cos I got friends,
Baby, listen to me
A shooting star will shoot you
And Mars will go to war,
The man on the moon will jump on you
If you don’t love me no more
Parker, Well Done
Performed by Warren 'Potsie' Weber, Jennifer Jerome with Ralph Malph
*bell rings*
Potsie: You rang, milady?
Jennifer: Yes, Parker!
Jennifer: Oh Parker?
Potsie: Yes, Milady?
I think I’d like to take a little ride
And Parker?
Potsie: Yes, Milady?
Jennifer: Somewhere just around the countryside
Have you prepared the Rolls Royce?
Is it ready for a run?
Potsie: Oh yes, Milady, quite alright, everything’s been done
I’ve lubricated all the cannon and polished up the gun
Jennifer: Oh, Parker, well done
Jennifer: International Rescue, Lady Penelope speaking.
Ralph: Hi there, Penny, Jeff here, we’ve got a hot one for you.
Jennifer: Ready and waiting, Jeff. May I have details?
Ralph: Sure thing, Penny. A foreign agent has managed to steal a small but very vital pnuetronic stabiliser unit out of Thunderbird 2. From information just received from the FBI through your Scotland Yard, he’s proceeding down your motorway M4 after landing at London airport. We need your help, Penny. Car is black saloon, make unknown. Registration number HPJ 960C, repeat HPJ 960C. Can you take care of it?
Jennifer: Yes, Jeff, leave it to me.
*bell rings*
Potsie: You rang, milady?
Jennifer: Cancel the countryside run, Parker, we’ve just been called to an urgent assignment. Get out the Rolls Royce.
Potsie: It’s all ready and waiting at the door, milady.
Jennifer: Very good, Parker.
*sounds of a car chase, horns beeping*
Potsie: The vehicle in question is now just ahead, milady.
Jennifer: Very good, Parker.
Potsie: Now, milady?
Jennifer: Now, Parker.
*gun fire, car goes out of control and crashes, car horn, more crashing*
Potsie: Home, milady?
Jennifer: Home, Parker.
Jennifer: Oh, Parker?
Potsie: Yes, milady?
Jennifer: You’ll have to clean the guns again, I fear
And Parker?
Potsie: Yes, milady?
Jennifer: I’m sorry to have messed up all your gear
Potsie: That’s quite alright, milady, it’s not as bad as it appears
I’ve got a few more jobs to do so don’t have any fears
I gotta fuel the gas bombs yet, and sharpen up the spears
Jennifer: Oh Parker, well done,
Oh, Parker?
Potsie: Yes, milady?
Jennifer: Well done.
Perker
Performed by Lori Beth Allen with Charles 'Chachi' Arcola and Joanie Cunningham
Lori Beth: Lady Penelope speaking, perhaps you recognised the voice
But I thought it would be nice to have a chat
About a certain gentleman who’s really rather choice
And he’s often quite a clever diplomat
We’ve been in lots of scrapes together
From far and wide, to Switzerland, Tibet and Hindustani
And I’ve had so many letters, that it cannot be denied,
I’ve got a most intriguing right hand man
Parker, Parker,
What a very funny character is Parker,
He’s my butler, my chauffeur and he’s quite a lot of fun,
Makes a lovely cup of tea, yet so handy with a gun
Parker, Parker,
He’s absolutely priceless you’ll agree,
Oh, I know he’s spent some time in jail where a hectic life he lead,
They call him Nosey Parker ‘cause his nose is large and red
And his cellmate was a gentleman they called Light Fingered Fred,
Yet, there’s nobody quite like our Mr P.
And it’s quite amusing when he’s relaxing,
He doesn’t know, of course, but one day I overheard him in the kitchen with Lillian, my cook, a few hours before my guests arrived for one of my dinner parties.
Chachi: We’ll have the aristocrats here soon. Whatcha feedin’ them with tonight, Lil? Some of that fancy foreign garabge, I’ll bet.
Joanie: Uh, yes, in a way. Let’s see. For the orse douves I’ve got caviar and pecans in anchovy.
Chachi: Strike a light!
Joanie: Uh, then poast potatoes with chicken and petit pois finishin’ off with angel moouse.
Chachi: Sounds a bit of a devil to me, Lil. Eer, by the way, what've you got for me?
Joanie: Here’s yours.
Chachi: Oh man! Arnold burgers again, Lil?
Lori Beth: Parker, Parker,
In the Rolls Royce, he’s a very different Parker,
He works all the machinery when we’re on some villain’s track,
Fires the cannon at the front and blasts the spears from the back
Parker, Parker,
As a servant, he’s as loyal as can be,
His slang is rather trying but we always get along,
If I said a foul perfume within the room was rather strong,
Mr Parker would correct me saying “What a horrid pong”
Oh, I don’t know what I’d do without,
There’s really not the slightest doubt,
I’d never, never do without Parker
Lady Penelope
Performed by Warren 'Potsie' Weber
*phone rings*
This is the stately home of Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward. Parker speaking. … Oh, hello, milady. … Yes, milady. … No, milady. … What? In the Rolls Royce, milady? … Oh, yes, milady. … It’s all ready and prepared. … Yes, milady. … No, milady. … What? With those diabolical villains? I-I mean those nasty gentlemen, milady? … Very good, milady. … Yes, milady. … Thank you, milady.
As you may have guessed that was milady,
She’s as educated and as clever as can be,
So famous and well known in this lovely stately home,
There’s nobody quite like our Lady P
Lady Penelope, Lady Penelope,
A secret agent, what always captivates
And I very often see what,
She is saying to her teapot
When she transmits a message to the States
Lady Penelope, cultured Penelope,
I’m her aide-de-camp to whom you should refer
I drive FAB1, or prehaps help the cook to make a stew,
Rub the silver, clean the cannon, catch a crook and what have you
And I’ve cost out several coppers, and I’ve cracked a crib or two for Lady P
Cause I’d do anything for her
Lady Penelope, lovely Penelope,
The aristrocratic agent of reknown,
When she talks, you hear the birds, but she uses such big words,
At times, her fancy phrases get one down.
Lady Penelope, dangerous Penelope,
With an International Rescue degree
She talks of her cuisine, that stands for kitchen speaking posh,
Her wardrobe means her gear, don’t it sound a lot of bosh
And a scrumptious meal means lots of grub, a smashin plate of nosh,
Oh, she gives me loads of headaches, Lady P
But she’s the one and only Gov for me,
My word! What a bird!
She’s a cracker, what a smasher, Lady P!
Dangerous Game
Performed by Warren 'Potsie' Weber
When you play that dangerous game,
You must learn to break every rule,
Learn to watch every glance
And they say that dangerous game
Is a game that's played by a fool
When he's taking a chance
So remember the dice may be loaded,
They may deal from the bottom of the pack
And that ace that you hold up your sleeve
May only be a Ten or a Jack
So beware, it may be a frame,
You must gamble hard when you play
That dangerous game
That dangerous game
Will anyone please tell me what they think of these Happy Days version of the songs above.
