I noticed while watching the 5th season DVD set that there were 2 sets of characters named Janet and Roger!
The "original" Janet and Roger were a newlywed couple who moved in to The Sanford Arms. This Janet was infamous for crying because she was happy. This Janet & Roger only had 1 episode together, and this Janet had one more appearance in the Whopper Chopper episode, but that was it.
Then came Lamont's girlfriend, Janet and her son, Roger.
Weird. :crazy:

There were also 2 (two) Roger sons on the show. The first Roger (in the episode where Lamont proposes) looks like a teenager. In the later episode "Sergeant Gork" Roger is now a little kid (less than 10 years old.)
