So this morning my husband asks me "How's it going with your show?"
You see, he knows I love AD and that we are trying to stay on the air.

"Fine" I say.....knowing he doesn't really care......but he does care about me.

"Do you know what's on 60 minutes tonight?" He asks me, with this wierd grin on his face........he just loves to tease me.

"Shut up, I know we go against them, but I'm more concerned that next week Survivor is on our night" I answer back.

"Honey, tonight is Dan Rather's send off to tv........it's the biggest news story going on these days.....this is the anniversary of when he started with CBS and millions of people are going to want to see it" He says......more seriously this time.

I respond back with "Are you sure?"

And he says "Yup, it's been on CBS for awhile now.....they've advertised it alot".

I never really thought 60 minutes Wednesday was going to be that tough for us.....I figured most people tune into it on Sunday night. Why didn't they put this Dan Rather special on Sunday night?

The date of his retirement was known long before the news about Dreams moving to Wednesdays was. Having to pick though, I'd watch Dreams simply because I don't like Rather(political reasons).

I don't think that the Rather program is going to attract that big of a viewership-- after all, CBS Evening News always finishes a distant 3rd in the ratings. People might flip over out of curiosity, but I don't see that being a huge draw. I could be wrong, of course!

I guess time will tell!
