I read in TV guide that they are putting American Dreams on wednesday nights at the same time as Lost and that American Dreams will go off the air...? Is this true?

View Full Version : Is American Dreams going off the air? lisava 03-09-2005, 03:03 PM I read in TV guide that they are putting American Dreams on wednesday nights at the same time as Lost and that American Dreams will go off the air...? Is this true?  AD FAN 03-09-2005, 03:13 PM For the next two weeks, ABC will run repeats of Lost, so this won't hurt us too much. Also, Lost is not a wholesome family show like American Dreams (and AD's former competition Extreme Makeover Home Edition.) So, hopefully AD will do good on Wednesday nights. The big question is how good it will have to do in order for it to get picked up for a fourth season. patriot: PrettyinPink55 03-09-2005, 05:19 PM We have to prove that we love and support American Dreams by watching these next four episodes on Wednesday nights, and show NBC that AD has a strong fan base and that they CAN'T get rid of our show!! :D Storywriter 03-09-2005, 07:14 PM It's not going off air not right now and it's too soon to find out if it returns next fall.Mel  Brent88 03-09-2005, 07:39 PM Lost will be in repeats the whole month... BUT Survivor will be up against it next week and on March 23rd due to NCAA March Madness. I don't have my optimism about the ratings. I think 5th place is a possibility tonight behind everyone and UPN. NBC has been out of luck all season on Wednesdays at 8 and I don't see this helping. In fact it'll probably drag the whole night down and cause Alias to do better against West Wing at 9(which actually beat ABC in viewers last week). Storywriter 03-09-2005, 07:43 PM That's West Wings problem with Alias not American Dreams's problem. And about Survivior true Ad fans will still watch Ad against that thing. Besides there's nothing on tonight at 8pm really to Hurt Ad it will be fine. Take care Mel.  Brent88 03-09-2005, 08:27 PM That's West Wings problem with Alias not American Dreams's problem. And about Survivior true Ad fans will still watch Ad against that thing. Entire night for ABC will be as Eyes will premiere. Brent88 03-09-2005, 08:39 PM Lost is all new on March 30. Entire night for ABC will be as Eyes will premiere. I forgot about that... it WAS April 13th until they bumped Eyes up. Storywriter 03-10-2005, 01:42 AM I think they meant they have a feeling it may go off air after the move. But Ad is finishing up it's Season 3 this month and like I say alot and I feel like I am annoying people when I keep saying It's too soon to know if AD will be renewed for Fall 2005..Mel  |
