I love his songs. My favorite are Tasty Love, Have You Ever Loved Somebody, Jam Tonight, You Are My Lady, Love Is Just A Touch Away, Rock Me Tonight, I Just Wanna Rub Up Against You, I Don't Wanna Lose Your Love. I heard rumors that he was gay but i seriously doubt that.

Personally, I prefer the singles from his second album.

"Jam Tonight" (I snap my fingers to that one.)
"Have You Ever Love Somebody" (My personal favorite.)
"Janay"
"You And I (Got A Thing)"
"Rock With Me Tonight"
"I Don't Want To Lose Your Love"

As for him being gay... he's always seemed effeminate (sp?) to me. I have never seen him with any women. But, that's his business. :)

Freddy Jackson has a great voice. I have the cassette of "Rock Me Tonight", 2 CD's of "Here It Is" and "Don't Let Love Slip Away" and a '12 single of "You Are My Lady". the album "Rock Me Tonight" has "You Are My Lady" and the title song, "Don't Let Love Slip Away" includes the cut "Nice 'n' Slow" and that was it. "Have You Ever Loved Somebody" was a great song.

Ladybee Rock Me Tonight song isn't on his Just Like The First Time 2nd album. Rock Me Tonight song is on Rock Me Tonight album LOL. I like his Nice & Slow song also. I forgot about that one. Just because you've never seen him with any women doesn't mean he's gay. He's probably one of those entertainers who doesn't want the media in his business & i don't blame him.

I know that, I was just noting my personal preference.

"Rock Me Tonight" and "You Are My Lady" are the most popular tunes from his first album. I don't think "He'll Never Love You (Like I Do)" and "Love Is Just A Touch Away" aren't as memorable (to me, anyway) and don't seem to get as much radio play as the two former classics.
