Well kids, it's almost that time of year. 2 months till the AP tests. I'm sort of freaking out. I'm taking the AP US History test and the AP English Language test. For those of you who have taken them before, are they really that hard? I suck at DBQs. A lot. A LOT. Ugh I'm the worst test taker ever.

IM FREAKING OUT ABOUT THIS AND IT'S TWO MONTHS AWAY.

LOl why are you freaking out?!?! They mean nothing really if you do bad. If you do good, you maybe get college credit. I took the AP Language test last year.. I got a 3. I hated that class though so I wasn't surprised. I'm taking psychology this year and maybe English Literature. I'm not sure. If I take the English one, I'll basically be paying $82.00 for extra credit next nine weeks because I know I'll get no college credit.

yea, don't freak out too much.. i mean, if you fail it, you do'nt fail the class, but it's awesome if you pass... i took AP history, only made a 2 on the AP exam though... but I did get a B (i think) in the class.

I'm taking AP English next year...or I hope so at least. I hope I pass the test, I mean I heard it's an insanely hard class but I really do want to be in it. If not, then eh, whatever...I'll still do the honors level.

I'm taking my AP US History test too. I also took my AP World History test last year and I passed with a 3. It was surprising because I felt like I half-assed everything: I omitted multiple-choice questions and I didn't develop my essays very well, yet I passed! I guess as long as colleges see that you have taken the course as well as the test, you'll have some advantages over others.

Study hard and do your best, you'll be fine! Good luck! I need it too! :)

PS I agree, those DBQs are crap!!

Yeah that's my point. I don't want to be paying $82 twice for nothing.

I took the AP English one, and I blew it. Yes, it was hard. I don't know why I bothered to pay to take that damn thing. The English part of the ACTs was 10x easier.

Dammit, why do AP tests have to cost so much? My gosh, we're just basically paying for pieces of paper in a box!

I'm taking AP Java on May 4th. I'm gonna pay $52 (with fee waiver, $82 without) for a test I'm gonna fail. Pathetic.
