Did the writers really expect us to believe Beaver would get on the bus in Elmhurst and NOT look for his brother among the passengers? So how come Wally and Beaver didn't sit together on the bus anyways? Did the writers really expect us to believe that Wally would WANT to sit next to a cheesy smelling old lady and Beaver would WANT to sit in an aisle seat next to a dirty old man? Little boys want to sit next to a window on the bus - not in an aisle seat. Jeesh. I guess this episode was about the willing suspension of disbelief.

Elmhurst is in Illinois. Crystal Falls is in Michigan. Some people think Mayfield is in Ohio. Ohio - Illinois - Michigan ... Hmm ...

How come Wally tied that rope into a noose? Huh? How come? Is he psycho or something? Jeesh. Wally's too old to be doing that kind of stuff. The guy scares me.

So you'd rather sit next to a cheesy smelling old lady or a dirty old man who couldn't keep his hands to himself?

If the lady had candy, I would sit next to her. I wouldn't sit next to the dirty old man but I would go out of my way NOT to sit next to my brother.

I like this episode because I think it si funny when Wally call home from the place Beaver was going and Wally says "What are you doing home" and Beaver says "Eatting Your Sandwhich". This is in my top ten for favorite episodes by far. The first time I saw it was when TV Land aired a Mayberry-Mayfield Mayday Marathon, I think two or three years ago.
