Steve M. 03-08-2005, 11:28 PM Snow? NO!
Krisalicious 03-08-2005, 11:32 PM The only thing snow is good for is for either cancelling, delaying, or shortening school. I love snow in the essence that it can do all these things, but I'm pretty sick of the cold. Yesterday was a really nice day and this snow really did come out of nowhere. But whatever, I got out of school early today so I'm happy.
Czas na Zywiec 03-09-2005, 12:16 AM It was about 60 this morning. When I got out of German, it dropped down to 30 and started snowing pretty heavily. And me, in my t shirt and flip flops...yea, it wasn't good. 10 minutes later it stopped snowing and the sun came out and the temperature came back up to the 60s by 4:00 or so.
Janice 03-09-2005, 12:53 AM I've had it with getting pounded with one storm after the other. It's a blizzard now, and yesterday it was sunny and in the 40s. Enough already. Spring, bring it on.
Rebel Queen 1980 03-09-2005, 04:17 PM It's 61 here right now.Nice change from the cold and snow that March
usually brings to my area of Texas.
Superstar 03-09-2005, 04:21 PM I dislike snow. We never get it here, but I've been on a snow vacation an the snow just gets boring
The Modfather 03-09-2005, 09:16 PM Yesterday it was 4C and today it was -25C! Friggin' crazy. Last year it went to -45C!
AllIWantIsYourClutch 03-09-2005, 09:21 PM There's no snow here, but it's effing freezing and I hate it. The sun is soooooo bright lately, but it's still cold.
Lady T 03-09-2005, 09:26 PM Since it does not snow where I live, but the weather has been crappy!
We received record amounts of rain this winter season and now for the last week or so it has been very cloudy and cool. I feel like I live in the state of Washington and not Sunny Southern California

Yeah but it has been cloudy and foggy..sucky weather.
Janet McFarland 03-10-2005, 07:16 PM It's supposed to snow here tomorrow and maybe Saturday :(
Babes_Cat 03-10-2005, 07:48 PM i'm so sick of winter.
we've had five snow days this school year (we'll be in school till june 20-something), over a cumulative total of 70-something inches of snow in my area... 'spring fling' (school dance) is tomorrow. how can you celebrate spring when there's six inches of snow on the ground?
and we're supposed to get more white stuff this weekend.
i want summer, skirts and the beach
AllIWantIsYourClutch 03-10-2005, 08:32 PM Ugh wtf I think I jinxed myself. It snowed a lot today.
Dude111 02-01-2024, 04:10 PM We all want what we cant have.I'd LOVE to have it snow here, but we never get it.But with all the bizarre weather changes, anything is possible.Im glad we havent gotton very much this year,I do not like it either!!
Caroline13 02-01-2024, 09:28 PM Snow has it's time and place in our lives. I moved to CA from PA in the 60's and have Never missed it. My snow is Sand. It's said one can be at the Sand in the AM and PM in the snow... But I don't hate it regardless....someone mentioned they hate it...
biffbronson 02-04-2024, 06:38 AM Yes, I hate it, and I nearly had a serious fall this winter due to the ice created by a quick freeze of wet snow. I landed forward on my knee and my face hit the concrete. It felt like my teeth were knocked loose or broken, and a cut on my nose had blood coming down. Fortunately it turned out to be just a little soreness in my mouth and the cut has healed -- no lasting injury.
So I do hate it. I've only had a few falls in my life, but those who love the snow are usually not the ones who have to clear it so we can function. And not long after snowfall, it becomes a dirty mess along the roads, with salt eating away at vehicles. Such a great thing.
Yong Fang 02-05-2024, 04:57 PM Where I live we had a pretty snowfall a couple of weeks ago and while the snow did stick on the ground, it was less than an inch, didn’t impede traffic and melted and gone two days later. This is how I like snow. A pretty snowfall to take pictures and then its gone.
I grew up in the South (Memphis) which although got some snow almost every year (including a fairly substantial amount about a month ago), everyone famously freaks out when there is a word about snow and invade the supermarkets taking what they can like it’s the apocalypse. I liked snow as a child because the schools would close and I hated school. But usually where I came from we had ice and sleet, that crap sucks.
But I have never lived in a climate where I had to shovel snow or have it be a serious issue.
Janice Johnson 02-07-2024, 06:18 PM The Cosby Show had an episode where Rudy wanted to wear a summer dress to a party in the Winter. Clair said something like,"This dress is fine in the SUMMER, but not for today in the WINTER. " Rudy says something like,"Yesterday was HOT." Clair says something like,"Yesterday was 71 degrees, VERY unusual for Winter in New York City. Today is 20 degrees and is VERY cold." Rudy says something like,"Maybe today will turn hot again like yesterday was." Clair says something like,"I don't think so. The News Forecast says that the weather will basically be 20 degrees all day."
I live in Miami and I have seen extremely fluctuating days like what Clair and Rudy spoke about on The Cosby show. I have had Monday be 80 degrees and Tuesday be FORTY Degrees!
Dude111 02-14-2024, 10:04 PM We were supposed to get a big storm on tuesday but thankfully it went north!!
