Having seen the season 1 dvd set and realizing how many syndicationn edits there were, what were some of the most notable edits for the remaining episodes as I haven't seen them unedited in years and don't remember everything.

Hmmm.... here are some I am aware of:

Season 2:
-"Fogged Inn": Both Nick-at-Nite and ABC Family air different scenes just like they do with "Our Very First Show" (pilot episode).

Season 5:
-"Happy Birthday, Babies pt. 1": The original ABC airing shows a teaser scene (very beginning of the episode just before the credits/theme song) shows DJ and Stephanie wrapping Michelle's gift, a large doll house. They are in DJ's room, and Michelle comes wandering in and asks for a peak. They try and convince her it'll ruin the surprise, but temptation fails Michelle. The girls quickly uncover the covered gift leaving Michelle take a quick glance at it.

Season 8:
-"We Got the Beat": I have the original ABC aired episode, and so far, I just notice only the teaser is the only thing NOT shown in syndication. Michelle is writing in her room when Nicky and Alex come in wanting to tell her a joke they heard. They say, "What has four legs, has a tail and barks." Michelle says, "A dog?" The boys say, "She heard it" and walk out. Michelle continues writing. The credits/theme song proceed.

I get the impression that earlier seasons had more in-between edits when they were aired in syndication more so than the later seasons - i.e. since I don't find more than the teaser edited out in syndication. I could be wrong, however.

Anyway, hope that helps somewhat! If anyone else knows of more, please post them! :)

From reading some other threads on this board, I get the feeling that the earlier episodes were longer. Most times episodes nowadays are about 22 minutes long so in the earlier eps they cut out more eps to get in more commercials (blecch).

"Our Very First Christmas Show" a family photo is taken for their Christmas Card (before the opening credits). Also, there are a few lines like Jesse's parents bugging him about trying to date Becky. And then Steph and DJ say that they had Lobster and Ice Cream Sundaes for their dinner. Also, "its the pilot's birthday, they're about to cut the cake".

Also, when 'Happy Birthday Babies' originally aired, it was an hour long episode and they had this part where Becky was getting up from Stephanie's bed and touched her belly.........sort of a teaser for the fact that she'd have the twins in the episode.

There's probably a lot more to add......oh yeah in "Jingle Hell" they have when Danny brings the potty for Michelle - "its digital and everything!"


Uncut all the way. Syndication stinks a lot cause they don't even show the proper end credits.

Just recieved the season 2 dvd for Christmas. Great to see lots of the teasers that probably haven't been seen since the ABC run. One cut i noticed was in tanner vs. Gibbler there was more extended dialogue at the station between Danny and Becky where she talks about hosting AM Omaha before. Looking forward to season 3 with a quicker release in April and hpefully we'll also have season 4 by the end of 2006 as season 3 on for me is when the show really got good.

Is an April '06 release officialized? Woohoo!!! I LOVE "Back to School Blues," so I am super excited!!!!! NICE!

In Season 6 there was this episode where Michelle & Denise call this joke phone line that cost money and they cut out this part where Joey does an impression of Jay Leno.

In Michelle Rides Again, they took out the scene where the family is in the waiting room and the doctor calls in the family to see Michelle. When they all get up he says,"how about just the parents?" Then Joey, Jesse and Danny get up and the doctor says,"hey, who am i to judge?"

Also in Michelle Rides Again Part 2 they take out a scene where Danny & Michelle are looking at a photo album. You can totally tell that they edited that scene because they did it so badly.
