Another birthday Mommy and we still miss you.

March 6, 2005 is here, the day that the lord put you on this earth and three years ago he took you away from us. Happy birthday Mom, we love you more and more everyday. There is not a time Dad and I do not talk about old times, about all the crazy things I used to do as a child. You always told me the reason you and Dad only had one child is because I was like 15 children in one. But I was never a bad child just had a lot of energy.
The first time we went to visit your grave state I never could stay long never to talk you. It just hurt so much tears would come to my eyes and I felt like my heart was breaking. Then I started laughing about all the good times, and how we got thru all the bad time. When thinks seemed hopeless God always made a way out of no way. No more tears in my eyes when I talk at your grave site I feel at peace when I talk to you. I feel like you are smiling down on me and Dad.
Happy birthday, Momma I love you so. I miss your laugh your smile and the way you always knew what was wrong with me. When ever I got my heart broken by someone I loved because they only wanted me as a friend. I wanted to give up on love, to give up on women forever. You told me to hold on and that was their lost. Never let anyone steal your joy, better to be alone and happy than with someone that will cause you pain. I learned this from you Mommy.
I try not to cry but sometimes I tear comes to my eye when I think of how I miss you. Dad is moving on with his live and dating again I am so proud of him. I know you would have wanted this. My Dad is 68 years old and I can’t keep up with him HAHAH. Mommy this poem is for you, as my love and my respect. Happy birthday from your loving Son Eric and from you Husband Joe.
