Holy crap, let people beat (not recommended) or not beat their kids on their own time. What are they, trapped in the Middle Ages? Illinois law bans corporal punishment in public schools, but the law doesn't apply to private schools. Well, theres there loophole. I'm sorry, i'm for spankings, I believe in them, I will practice it with my children, "spare the rod, spoil the child", or however that saying goes. But I am NOT going to force those beliefs on another person? Geez, some people lack common sence! I don't think a school should tell a parent how and when to do it though.
