Im still waiting for Lifetime to show the Son of Sam episode. It's by far one of my favorites and kept me scared for weeks after its premiere way back when. Anyone else with me? I love this forum!

and in my opinion the best and scariest episode they ever did even though it was techincally solved and this was a retrospective (or did he act alone?) segment - Just a really great piece of what I know now as documentary footage - I really this that UM is under-rated in the way they profile things and this is a great example - The time it probably took to put this particular segment together is beyond words and I've been looking for a copy everywhere with no luck - It was a two-parter I believe and I first saw it when I was eight years old making it the first UM I ever watched and yes I couldn't sleep for weeks.

Later.

I would like to add this segment to my collection as well. I haven't seen it in about 10 years or so.

Yeah, this was a scary one. The angles they got while filming were freaky. Like the two girls sitting on their front porch when the killer just appears out of nowhere on the sidewalk and lifts his gun

what got me were the numerous composite drawings! darn those! and the way they'd slowly zoom in.

son of sam...best episode ever!

What scared the living hell out of me was the scenes of people in the satanic cult worshiping in the park. They all had those robes on holding candles.

Freak me right the hell out...

I saw one of the two parts of this, and it indeed was creepy as hell

they showed a map of one of the scenes that proves it was damn near impossible for one person alone to commit both murders
