Ok, this is Chelsea here. I've decided to make a new roleplay for all you Three's Company fans, including me. Since my other roleplay didn't succeed too much *Cough*, I'm going to make a new one. And hopefully, this one won't die.

Plot: Ok, well I'm doing this roleplay basing on the story I am working on right now. And I must add, I'm trying my best to keep writing it, but school always gets in the way. Anyway, here's the deal: Janet's mother calls home one day, demanding that Janet should come home. Since Janet doesn't want to turn against her family, she does what her mother tells her, and packs up to go home. Meanwhile, while Jack isn't taking the news too well, realizes that all this time he has had feelings for Janet. He knows he has to tell Janet his feelings before it's too late. Will Janet feel the same way? Will she stick with her decision and still move out? This is all up to you guys.

Characters:
Jack Tripper - Me, of course I couldn't resist. Hehe.

Janet brushes away tears as she throws a few shirts in to her duffel bag, biting her lip to keep from going hysterical. Suddenly she hears footsteps behind her. Peering over her shoulder, she sees a familiar lanky frame in the doorway.

Janet: "Jack? Is that you?"

I thought you said my character Zack was in this :confused:

No Styles, I think you mean my other roleplay. The one that's based on the story "Closer Than Ever". That's the roleplay that your character Zach is in.

The cold air was biting at him as he rushed upstairs. Jack Tripper quickly searched for his keys in his pocket, almost going insane if he didn't get away from the bitter cold. A sigh came from his lips as he came inside the apartment. He heard someone is the girls' bedroom. It's probably Janet, he thought. Terri was at work until around supper time, and he was glad. That way he could spend some time with Janet. He opened the door of the bedroom, and heard Janet's voice. As soon as he caught the look of her, he knew something was wrong.

"Janet? Hey sweetie you ok?" He walked over to her and put his arm around her shouler.

Janet turned to see his concerned face ever so close to hers.

Janet "Oh, Jack.....I've got some bad news. Very bad news. My mother wants me back in Speedway, Indiana."

when do I need to start as Furley

Um..you can pretty much drop in anytime. Well, not all the time, but occainsinally. But when Jack and Janet are alone or something, you shouldn't. I'll tell you when you can come in, ok?

As soon as Jack heard those words, his grip tightened around her shoulder. He completely froze, literally. All these emotions were running through him at that moment. Anger, confusion, pity, but most of all; sadness. He couldn't even try to talk. He knew he couldn't. He had a lump in his throat, but somehow he got the words out.

"You...you're...leaving?" It wasn't the simplest sentence Jack Tripper had ever put together. It suddenly hit him that there would be no Janet. His Janet was going away. Forever. She wasn't coming back. It never occured to him that she would leave him. Well, at least not this soon. He wanted to be with her forever. As he looked at her with dried tears, his eyes started to get blurry, as he was close from crying. But he tried to fight them, and hugged her closer, not wanting to let go.

Janet felt so warm and safe in Jack's arms and didn't want to be released. He smelled so good, like manly cologne. She inhaled and nestled her head deeper in to the crook of his neck.


Janet: "I'll explain why I have to leave when Terri gets in. I want you both to hear this."


(Chelsea, I don't recall why she had to leave....what was her reasoning again? :confused: )

((Um..let's just say that Terri is visiting her parents or something, and she'll be home that day))

Jack couldn't take it anymore. He needed to know why Janet was leaving. He didn't want her to leave, ever. He had to find some way to keep Janet. She was pretty much his whole life. He would never be happy again if she ever left.

"No, tell me now Janet. Who cares about Terri, I want to know!" He stood up, and got out of her embrace. He didn't really want to, because he just loved holding her. Yea, he knew he was being a little rude and arrogant, but he needed to know. He loved Janet so much. He took in a deep breath, and tried to calm down.

Janet took a deep breath. She couldn't bear seeing the man who she had grown to love- as a friend, brother, and possibly more- in so much pain. She looked deep in to those eyes, those beautiful clear eyes.

Janet : "Jack, my mother misses me so much....I think she needs me right now more than ever." [/B]

((It's ok Kristel! I've been roleplaying before, maybe for like or something. I usually write 3-4 big paragraphs. I just don't show it on here, I think it would be too much. Why don't we add a little twist? How about Janet's mother isn't sick or anything, but she misses Janet and doesn't want her to leave her))

Jack couldn't help but look into her beautiful dark eyes. They looked so sad, and he hated seeing her so sad. He would do anything to make her happy. He walked back up to her, and slid his arm around her waist. He looked straight into her eyes.

"Janet, you can't do this to me. You can't leave. I'm sure your mom will be fine. Janet, I can't let you go. You're my whole life, and I would never forgive myself if I let you go. I love you." He froze, realizing what he had just said. But it was the truth. And he wasn't referring to the brother/sister love, or friendly love. Now, he was in love with Janet Wood. Hopefully she'll love me back, Jack thought.

Those three words echoed through Janet's mind as she tried to make sense of them. She had never heard Jack say it with such emphasis and tender feeling before....sure, he had told her he loved her a MILLION times, but usually it was before he asked her if he could have the apartment alone for a date with some buxom blonde.

He loved her.....wow. How she longed to say it back....but she was scared. Janet had always been the logical one- the one who never let her feelings get in the way of something that HAD to be done. But how her heart and mind screamed it over and over again, I love you too, Jack

Janet : "Oh, Jack...." was all she whispered.

All these voices kept yelling at him in his head. You fool, she doesn't love you back. You just embarrased yourself, good job. He knew that when she didn't tell him she loved him back, he knew that was all he needed to know that she didn't have feelings for him. He looked down at the ground, not wanting to look up at her. Sure, he was hurt. He loved Janet so much. Ever since god knows when.

And I don't wanna fall to pieces
I just wanna sit and stare at you
I don't wanna talk about it

He took a deep breath and looked back at her. "Oh, I see. Look, just don't say anything. It's ok." He nodded and got up from the bed. He left her room and sat down on the couch. Right now he just felt like someone had stabbed him. All these years he tried to build up the courage to tell Janet how he felt. And he always hoped that she would feel the same way to.

And I don't want a conversation
I just wanna cry in front of you
I don't wanna talk about it
Because I'm in love with you

Stupid, Stupid!, she scolded herself, wanting to bang her head against the dresser. Now she had made Jack feel bad and that was the last thing she wanted to do, considering he was her best friend and he was already in so much pain.

Wearily, she left the room to see Jack sitting on the couch, staring blankly ahead. She placed her hand on his shoulder, squeezing it gently. He looked up at her and smiled softly, but she knew he was only putting on a front. She perched next to him on the couch, nestling her head on his lap like she's done tons of times before as they watched t.v.

Janet: "So, what happens to us now, Jack?"

All Jack could do was look straight ahead, not really knowing what he was doing. He just couldn't understand what Janet was doing. Why she playing games with him or something? She still didn't confess if she loved him or not. He couldn't help but just look at the ground. He felt like a fool right then.

Suddenly Janet came into the room, he quickly turned away from her. When she came over to him, he gave her a small smile, but he wasn't smiling inside. He was hurting inside. As she rested her head on his lap, his only instinct was to stroke her hair and kiss her on the forehead. He looked down into her eyes.

"What do you mean, Janet? Don't you get it? I LOVE YOU! Ok? I love you more than I love anything else in the world. Why can't you see that? And I know you don't feel the same way, but I just love you Janet." He shook his head and closed his eyes, trying to hide the pain he was feeling that very moment.

Stunned, she gazed deeply in to his eyes. He really DID love her. Alot. Jack Tripper was never one to throw the word "love" around loosely with women. She couldn't help but smile as she recalled the many times he tried to escape the arms of a woman who wanted to tie him down. Janet reached out and stroked his soft cheek.

Janet : "I love you too, Jack Tripper"

As soon as he heard her say that, a real smile appeared on his lips. No one knew how many times he prayed or hoped that Janet would love him back, as much as he loved her. He always dreamed that he would hear her say those words to him. Suddenly all the pain he was having, changed into happiness. He looked at her with his adorable eyes, filled with love and wanting.

We're the best of friends
And we share our secrets
She knows everything that is on my mind
But lately somethings changed
As I lie awake in my bed
A voice here inside my head
Softly says


He lifted her up from his lap, and slid his arms around her waist. Then he suddenly did something that he never had done before, he kissed her. Well, yea, he did kiss her before, lots of times. But this one was different. It was more passionate and heart warming than they ever had kissed before. And it was the kind of kiss that you knew you were with the right person, the one you loved. And that was the way Jack was feeling right then.

Janet was enamoured. Her lips pressed against Jack's tenderly, her breath getting caught in her throat from the intensity of his passion. Jack pulled her closer.

Wow, I can't believe this is happening , she thought dreamily. She felt so warm and safe in his arms, like she had imagined it being.

He suddenly jumped up a bit, but still had his arms around her waist. If they were going to be together, he wanted everyone to know how much he loved her.

"Um..I think what Janet is trying to say is that we're together." He smiled, hoping that Terri wouldn't take it so hard.

Leave it to Jack Tripper to save the day, she thought with a giggle. AS she listened to those words "we're together now", she couldn't help but blush and start squirming like a schoolgirl. Boy, how she couldn't wait to tell Terri about it all!

But what about her mother? Would she even get an opportunity to develop anything more with Jack if she had to go back to Speedway? There were so many emotions going through her. She suddenly had to pull away from Jack and look up at Terri with serious eyes.

Janet:"Terri, I have something to tell you....I think you better sit down."

Terri tries her hardest to look happy, but on the inside she is crying and worried. Just the thought of loosing her two best friends scared her.

"I knew it would happen sooner or later" she thought, "but i'd rather it happen later"

She always noticed the subtle flirting between Jack and Janet, but thought nothing of it.

"Now everything's going to change" she thought again.

Terri: (Put up the best fake smile she could) That's great! I'm so happy for the both of you

I like that idea....then we'll let the other characters know when to come in.....I think "Terri" should talk next and then we'll figure it out from there...could you PM me the details of how it'll end? Jack turned to Janet as soon as she left his embrace. He screamed inside, wanting to hold her, to tell her everything was alright. But nothing was going to be alright. Janet was going to leave, and Jack didn't have the slightest clue what to do. He was running out of time, and he didn't want to lose Janet ever. He slowly slid his arm around her waist again and kissed her cheek, hoping she wouldn't mind. But as soon as he saw Terri's face, he knew that something was wrong with her, but he didn't know what.

Janet watched Terri's face fall in disappointment. She wanted to rush over to her friend and assure her things would be alright with the three of them, but she had more important things on her mind.

Janet: "Terri, I just received a phone call from my mother. She wants me to come back to Indiana to spend some time with her. It seems like I'm the only one she has left after Jenny went to college.....god, this is so hard for me to do.....but it has to be done."

Um..Jen, it's your turn.

Terri's mouth drops and she is now aware of how selfish she was when she didn't want Jack and Janet together. She knows that her sad expression is well known, but doesn't care. She then realizes that when she saw Janet kissing Jack how strong her feelings were for him. Everything was too overwhelming and it confused her. But right now all she cared about, the one thing that is replaying over and over again in her mind was...

Terri: She wants you to come back to Indiana???

(someone helped me with this storyline :lol: i hope you don't mind, but i can always change it)

Janet nodded. Terri appeared so crushed and it was a delicate matter to discuss for all three of them. Janet was beginning to tear up as she thought about leaving her two very best friends, especially the man she loved more than anyone in the world. Jack was silent, biting his fingernails.

Janet: "Yes, I don't have much of a choice right now. Just remember that this isn't forever, ok? My flight leaves tomorrow afternoon....so we have all night to talk and have one last blow out, ok?!"

Janet plastered on a phony grin, trying to make her roomates happy, but most of all trying to convince herself that she'd be ok without Jack. Hell, who was she kidding?! Stop trying to be so strong, Janet, she chided herself. She'd miss him like crazy! She glanced over at Jack, but it was so hard to read him.

I wonder what he's thinking , Janet wondered sadly.


(Jack's next!)

Jack was turning his head from side to side now. He was completely torn between his two best friends and the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. He just couldn't live on with his life without Janet. She practically completed him. Without her, his whole world would crumble. He wanted a miracle to happen, so she could stay with him.

"Janet, could I talk to you in the kitchen?" He took her hand before she could answer, and pulled her into the kitchen. He took a deep breath.

Come on Jack, just let it out. Tell her how you feel.

Janet followed Jack in to the kitchen, throwing Terri a confused look. Terri smiled knowingly and shrugged, finally putting down her purse and settling on the couch.

Jack was in the kitchen, pacing back and forth.

Janet: : "What did you want to talk to me about?"

Jack looked at Janet pacing around the kitchen. He buried his face in his hands, trying to figure out what he was going to do. He ran a hand through his hair, becoming a little sweaty and nervous. He bit he fingernail, then put it down, looking at Janet seriously.

"Look, Janet I know this won't make any difference at all. But you just can't go back home, Janet. I love you. I love you so much that it would hurt me if you left. Even if it would be for one minute, or one day. I need you in my life. You're my whole world." He looked at her with sadness in his eyes, his hands around her waist. He just wanted to hold on to her forever.

Janet: "Jack".... she trailed off. She embraced him, planting small kisses over his lips and cheeks lovingly, never wanting to stop.

"God, how I love you too. You've always been there for me, through it all. You're much more than a friend to me, Jack.....I-I- I am quickly falling in love with you more and more each day. Hell, I HAVE been falling in love with you all these years but it's only now that I realize it and fully embrace it. I love you."

Jack smiled and she felt her heart soar. That beautiful, sheepish grin....how she adored it. How it made her troubles seem that much more petty.....how it immediately put a smile on her own face.

"Jack, I do love you.....more than anything....EVER. But my mother is so heartbroken right now. I'm all she has left to cling on to. But don't think I'd EVER forget you because I'd rather die than do that.....Jack, if our love can't withstand time apart for a little while then is it meant to be? You know I'd never forget you....I'll be back! I promise." She looked at him with pleading eyes, not sure how he was going to take her words.

(Chelsea, I hope I'm doing this right...I'm so new at this roleplaying stuff...lol. I am gonna take a break from the computer for a while, but I just be back tonight(usually right before TC comes on). You respond next and then we can have Terri come in to the kitchen or something. However you wanna do it...lemme know....see ya tonight.)

Jack froze suddenly. Was this happening? Was Janet questioning their love or something? He knew this couldn't be real, but it was. Yes, he was a bit selfish and just wanted Janet for himself, but he couldn't bear one day apart from her. That's what love meant to him. He sighed, looking down at the floor. He knew now that there was no way to stop her, and he didn't want to get into a fight or something. He would just have to wait for her, but he wouldn't wait forever.

"I'll be waiting for you, Janet. I love you so much." He kissed her full on the lips, for a breath-taking kiss that he had waited for so long to do. She pulled away slowly, out of breath. Both of their foreheads touched, and Jack never wanted to leave the embrace. "You mean the world to me Janet. You are my world." He corrected, lifting her chin up.

Terri slightly opens the door and peeks into the kitchen

Terri: Hey, can I come in?

Jack suddenly lifted his head as he heard Terri's voice. His arms were still around her waist, but he let them fall down. He wasn't so sure now that Terri was happy for them - since she took it hard. Jack Tripper was no dummy, and he could tell something was wrong with her. He looked over at Janet, and she nodded in approval to allow Terri in.

"Sure, come in." He nodded and gestered her to the table, as he and Janet took a seat. He knew the next thing that was going to come out of her mouth. He sqeezed Janet's hand under the table, not wanting to let Terri see - he was afraid she would get mad.

Terri took a seat is her normal spot right behind the kitchen door. Trying her hardest not look Jack or Janet in the eye because she knew that she would burst out into tears.

I have to be strong she thought. The last thing i want is for them to feel uncomfortable around me

Terri: (still looking to the table) I.. I have to go back home as soon as possible because.. um.. because my grandmother is sick, ya, and I have to go home right away, she might not last any longer, and with you two getting together and everything, I just...

Come on Terri spit it out

((Gasp! Shocker! Wow, never saw that one coming. I thought you said Terri was going to be supportive about the idea? Like, she was happy for both of them. Well, I have to go anyway, we'll finish this later with Kristel!))

(well give her time.. i mean this would be a big shocker for someone and I thought it would make it more interesting than just the normal J&J falling in love and everything is perfect in the end... I mean that’s good i have nothing against it, but lets just add a little more of a story in there, then we can add the happy ending on.. i don't know just my opinion)

sorry, girls...I've been busy with spring break and am not on the comp as much as I'd like(only to reply here and there with short answers)...perhaps later tonight when I have a lot of time to think and prepare a response...what's gonna happen with the trio?

Aw, it's ok Kristel. We understand. Well next week is test time for me in school. I'm dragging over it - I hate tests. Anyway, I think Terri is going to be a little upset and shocked, but then she'll get over it quick. Something like that, but hopefully Terri won't move out or something. Who knows - Jen's the one who plays her.

Janet was stunned. She looked over at her best friend, who was chewing her lip thoughfully, looking quite uncomfortable.

Janet : "Terri, no, you don't have to go anywhere. You know nothing would ever change between all of us, right? Especially you and I! Hey, we've shared a lot together! From the first day I met you, I knew we'd be close friends. Please don't leave. Besides, where would you go? There are very little apartments out there that offer low rent and you'd also have to find new roomates. Plus, Jack and I would be so sad to see you go."

Terri smiled in relief to her best friend's heart felt words, but deep down she knew that something would always be different.

Not that it's a bad thing though, right? she asked herself. ya change can be good for a person. This time she showed a smile, a real smile, happy yet still confused smile.

Terri: I'm sorry for being so selfish but i didn't know what to do, so i panicked. I was just afraid of what might happen to our friendship that's all, but i know how close we are and... I know we can get though this. We always have (she giggled)

Jack suddenly felt his spirits lift up. He knew that something was wrong with Terri the second he told her about his new relationship with Janet. He wanted things to work out between the three of them so bad. He sqeezed her hand again - excited from the fact that Terri was going to be alright with the situation.

"Hey, don't you worry Terri. When Janet comes home, we promise that we'll try to not make you feel uncomfortable. But Terri, you know that you're like a sister to us - and we'll always be there for you." He nodded, looking over at Janet. She smiled back at him, which made his hert beat faster. He thought to himself.

We'll be ok.

The roomates spent the rest of the night chatting and laughing over a game of Scrabble. Still, an uneasy air hovered over them, as if their whole world could fall apart in one breath. Sure, they were smiling and trying to enjoy their last night together for what could be...well, who knows? Janet was scared deep down. Scared about losing Jack and pushing away Terri. Could this be the end of a friendship that has lasted years without many flaws? Or was this a new journey that would take them all somewhere better....but different?

Janet could tell that Jack wanted to spend the night in her bed, but Janet whispered that it would have to wait. Before turning off all the lights and heading to bed, Jack and Janet just held each other in the living room, soft tears falling down their cheeks. They both knew it would be the last night they'd spend together in a while.

Janet: "I'll wake you both up in the morning so we can say our goodbyes properly. Plus, I expect a nice farewell breakfast from you, Tripper. Goodnight."

Jack laughed and she could tell he was on the verge of breaking down. His face crumpled up and he kissed her one last time before heading to bed. When Janet's head hit her own pillow, she could do little to stop her own tears from falling. Terri was snoring softly, a seemingly sad expression etched on her face as she slept. All Janet could do was wish for the best.

Sunlight filtered through her curtains as the first rays of morning light splashed against her skin. Glancing at her bedside clock through sleepy eyes, she noticed that it was nearly 8 a.m. Thank god Terri had an evening shift.

She quickly pulled her robe on and some slippers. Quietly, she slipped out in to the living room to go to the bathroom when the doorbell sounded.

(Ok, I'm gonna end it here :D Sorry it's so long but I wanted to fill in with some detail. I was gonna have Mr. Furley ring the doorbell to ask to borrow some eggs or whatever....this way Janet can alert him about her leaving. Plus, I think it would be cool for some minor characters to step in....is that ok? Larry can also butt his head in during the encounter with Furley as well, just for a little while. He can be Jack's support for when Janet finally leaves. I think we should PM twistofkate(now ventura highway) and wilscap about their arrivals :))

Janet walked across the room while tying the belt on her robe. She opened the door to reveal Cindy who was dropping by, with baked goods, on her way to a class at UCLA.

Cindy: Hi Janet, I thought i'd bring over an apple struedel that I made last night. I think it came out better this time.

Ok, Kristel it's your turn. I don't think I'll post for a while until Furley and Larry find out the news.

Janet was shocked to see Cindy there. Nonetheless, she was glad to see her, especially since her appearances were few and far between due to classes. She took the strudel out of her hands and gave Cindy a kiss on the kiss.

Janet : "Thanks, babe....this looks delicious! Hey, I've got something to tell you. Wanna come in?"

The morning sun poured through Jack's window. The rays hit his face, causing him to roll over to the other side. Suddenly he remember what that day was - it was the day Janet was leaving. It was going to be the worst day of his entire life. He would never forget it. He thought that maybe this wasn't really happening, like it was all a dream. But he looked at his clock, deciding to get up. He wanted to get up a little earlier, so Janet and him could spend extra time together.

Walking out of his room, he spotted Janet and Cindy talking to each other. He sighed, knowing that Janet would have to tell Cindy. But he just wanted to be with Janet. To hold her and never let go. He cameup behind Janet, wrapped his arm around her waist, and planted a small kiss on her lips. He muttered something under his breath that there would be more of that before she left.

"Good morning, love. Hey Cindy!" He looked over at his earlier roomate, who had a shocked look on her face. He chuckled at the thought, then turned back to Janet. He had a look in his eyes that asked her if she wanted him to stay or leave.

Janet glanced over at Jack, who was gazing at her longingly. She too had to chuckle when she noticed Cindy's gaze widen as Jack kissed Janet.

Janet: "Cindy, Jack and I are an item now, in case you were wondering. We've sort of....discovered that we've had feelings for each other the whole time. But, that's not what I wanted to tell you originally. I am going back to Indiana to live with my mom for a while."

Cindy could feel her heart drop into her stomach. She couldn't believe what Janet was telling her. The other news about Jack and Janet was wonderful and about time, but, she couldn't think about that now.

Cindy: *feeling her eyes tear up* I can't believe this, Why Janet?

She flopped down on the couch and just sat there in shock.

Janet hated to see her friend so distraught. Janet glanced over at Jack, who gave her a soft, but sad, smile. Placing the strudel on the table, she headed over to Cindy and plopped down next to her on the couch.

Janet: "Well, it's a long story, Cin. It basically boils down to my mother wanting me there for her at home. My younger sister Jenny barely has any time between her studies in college to stop home and my mom has always counted on ME, the reliable daughter of the two, to come through for her. You understand, right?" When Cindy didn't respond, she kept on talking.

"Look, I'll be back soon, I promise! Whether it's two months from now or two YEARS from now, I'll be back."

After those words left her lips, she could see Jack's face fall from the corner of her eye.

Two years??

Cindy: *putting her arm around Janet* Aww Janet, I understand why you have to go, but, it doesn't mean I have to like it. You've always been there for me. You're such a good friend. I don't mean that Jack, Terri, Larry and Mr. Furley aren't, but, I don't know. I..I gotta go!

She runs out of the apartment crying.

Janet: "Cindy!" called Janet, although she was too late. Cindy was gone. Janet sighed and stretched out on the couch. This wasn't going to be easy saying goodbye to her friends. She wondered how Mr. Furley and Larry were going to take the news later on.

Jack sat next to her and grabbed her hand, stroking it lovingly. Janet rested her head on his shoulder.

"Jack, when you see Cindy again...just tell her I'll be back, ok? Make her feel better."

Jack nodded in agreement but Janet saw how sad his eyes looked. Did he not believe she would return?

"Jack, what are you thinking about?"

Jack sighed deeply as he watched Cindy take the news not so well. She was really hurt, just like him and Terri were. But Jack thought that he was hurting the most. He just can't like without Janet. Not a day, not a week, not a year. He needed to think of something really quick to make her stay - but he knew it was hopeless. Since the minute she told him the news he already tried to figure out some way for her to stay.

But it will never work.

..Two years?

As soon as those words left Janet's mouth, it felt as if Jack was being punched in the stomach over and over again. Two years? Janet - his Janet, leaving him for two years? He suddenly clenched his fists, getting mad at Janet's mother. She was the one who was killing Jack. She was the one who was making his life hell. He took a deep breath, realizing that he shouldn't get angry right this minute. Taking a seat next to Janet, he stroked her hand.

"Hey don't worry about it. I'll talk to her." He nodded, still trying to get over the fact that Janet really was leaving.

Jack, what are you thinking about?

As soon as he heard that question, he looked down to the floor. Tears started to form up in his eyes, and he continued to stare at the floor - he didn't want Janet to notice. Oh, hell with it, he told himself. He finally looked up at the woman he's grown to love for the past 6 years. As a sister, friend, and lover. He couldn't believe that this was happening to him. This wasn't suppose to happen. It wasn't suppose to end up like this. He wanted to hold her that moment, and kiss her. But he couldn't even get the words out of his mouth.

And for the first time since he was a child - Jack Tripper began to cry.

Jack sat stoicly for a moment, his eyes looking everywhere but at hers. She squeezed his hand and tried to get him to look at her. Suddenly, tears began cascading down his face and he sniffled a bit. He looked away.

Janet "Jack? Oh, Jack, no.....please. It hurts me so much to see you like this. Oh god, I'm dying inside too....believe me." She pressed her lips all over his cheeks, kissing away his tears tenderly. She loved him so much, so much that it hurt.

"Jack, honey...I LOVE you. This is killing me....god, I am so angry with my mom! She's putting me in a tough position. How could she make me choose between my family and my friends?! The last thing I want to do is make you sad, Jack. Just because I'm leaving doesn't mean I don't love you, ok?"

He nodded and she could tell her words wouldn't be enough. She rested her head on his shoulder, sighing softly. She too began to weep.

He couldn't believe he was doing this. Jack Tripper - crying? He hardly ever cried at all, except when he was a little. But he didn't care anymore. Screw it, he told himself. He just needed to tell Janet how he felt, and crying explained everything how he was feeling. And he knew that the second Janet would leave, he would be crying even more. But he couldn't help it. There was no exact time Janet was coming home - he didn't even know how long she would be there.

He couldn't help but let more tears fall down his face. He kissed her on the cheek when she stopped kissing him on the cheek. Janet would always make him feel better, but now nothing would ever mend his broken heart. Not even Janet. He tried to form a smile, and managed the faintest one he ever made. But it hurt him so much to even try to smile.

"Janet, you don't know how much I love you. I would DIE for you. I don't love anyone else as much as I love you. It's like..you complete me. Nothing would ever be right without you. And I just can't go on like this. I'd rather die than spend a day without you with me." He looked at her with sincere in his voice. It was coming from the bottom of his heart - and he had never said anything more true. He listened as she complained about her mother, and then she started to cry also.

Of course, he was still crying, and he wasn't getting any better. He laid his head on top of hers, crying along with her. He hugged her tight, and pulled her close to him. He kissed the top of her head - suddenly thinking about what she had just said. He looked at her, a look of wonder in his eyes. The question he was about to ask meant a lot to him, and he only wondered one thing.

"Janet, why can't you choose me instead of your family?"

Janet pondered his question. Jack WAS like family to her....but much deeper, of course. She had always looked up to him like a brother or a best friend. But now things had changed so fast. She had always loved him but now it was a deep love, the kind you share between husband and wife.

When the image of a husband and wife living together flashed in her mind, she blushed a little. For just a moment, she actually pictured Jack as her husband, cooking dinner for her and then settling off to bed together, talking and laughing all night until they collapsed in each others' arms. Wow.

Janet "Jack, I want to choose you. If this were an easy decision, I'd choose you in a heartbeat. But it's my mother. I've never been able to say no to her. How could I break it to her?"

Terri can just wake up and come in. I think we're going to keep on roleplaying and not wait for Mr. Furley and Larry to come. The people who play them haven't been on in a while, and I'm not going to wait that long. So when Terri comes in, she and Janet can talk alone, say their goodbyes, and then Jack will come back in. Him and Janet will say their goodbyes - and we'll go on from there.

Terri finally opened her eyes, but had to blink a couple times because of the sun hitting her right in the face. As she yawned and started to stretch, she remember what day it was. Janet was leaving.

This is the last morning with Janet

she sighed, slowly standing up, and walking towards the mirror. Discussed in her appearance, she brushed her hair to her liking, put on a robe, and walked out into the living room.

Terri was going to say her normal "Good Morning", as she did for years, but it didn't seem appropriate.

Terri: (looking to the floor, with tears already beginning to form) Hi

Jack suddenly turned around from Janet, hearing Terri's voice. He looked down at the floor, quickly wiping his tears away. He didn't want Terri to see, but he could tell that by her voice, that she was already crying. He took in a deep breath, and looked back at Janet. He kissed her on the lips, which meant that he would leave the two of them alone.

"I think I'm going to cook breakfast." He nodded, trying to form a smile at Terri. But nothing could make him smile anymore.

Janet mustered a small smile through her tears and immediately rushed over to Terri, hugging her tightly. Terri was crying softly.

Janet: "Oh wow....this must be the first time I'm taking care of YOU, Nurse Terri. This is SO hard. God....I'm going to miss you both so much. But you know I WILL be back, ok? I love you both too much not to come back."

Terri tried to put up a tiny smile at Janet's joke, but it didn't last long. Totally missing the part about Janet coming back, within seconds she started bawling her eyes out.

Terri: (in-between sobs) Oh Janet I'm going to miss you. You're my best friend and no matter what happens you always will be. I just hate saying good bye.

Terri: There is that small chance that you won't come back. Something could happen, you never know.

Janet grabbed Terri firmly and looked in her eyes.

Janet: "Terri, listen to me! I'll be back, I promise! I just need to see my mother for a little while. She NEEDS me, Ter. Now, come on....let's go see what Jack's cooking in the kitchen."

Janet put her arm around Terri, leading her to get breakfast.

Jack was already finished cooking as the two girls came inside. He sighed, knowing that this would be the last breakfast with Janet for a while. Hell, it may be forever. He had no idea - but he couldn't wait forever, as much as he wanted to. He gave both of them a very faint smile, and set their food down at the table. Sitting down by Janet, he tried to avoid her gaze, afraid that he might burst into tears.

Stop acting like a crybaby. Be strong for Janet.

But he couldn't help as silent tears fell down his face. He looked down at the ground so no one would notice.

Janet noticed Jack was still crying as he dug in to his pancakes. Tension was thick and all that could be heard were forks clinking against their plates and gulping as they swallowed their orange juice.

Janet sighed.

Janet: "Hey, Jack.....can I talk to you in the living room for a minute?"

Jack got enough courage to lift his head and look around the table. Nobody was talking at all, but no one seemed to mind. Jack buried his face in his hands for a second, trying to recap everything on what was happening. He suddenly lifted his head at the sound of Janet's voice. He smiled faintly at her.

"Yea, sure.." He got up from his chair and pulled out hers. He let her walk in front of him, and they got into the living room.

Janet: "Jack, I love you. It kills me to see you in so much pain. How can I prove to you that I love you more than anything in this world and that I will return to you? Because this is tearing me up inside...I feel like I'm deserting you."

Jack sighed and looked over at her. Yeah, he knew that Janet loved him a lot - as much as he loved her. There wasn't really a way that she could prove how much she loved him, except maybe not going to back to her mother. But she couldn't do that, she told him that all the time. But he just wished that there was some way that she could stay with him. Suddenly a devilish grin spread across his face, and he took her in his arms.

"Well, I have a few ideas.." He started to nibble on her neck.

Jack grinned devilishly and nibbled on her neck. Normally Janet would cry out "Jack!" and push him away but this felt so right...and so good. Jack was well aware that kissing her neck made her knees weak!

Janet: "Well, well...isn't this a nice change," she murmured. She pulled him closer and giggled.

Jack smiled as she pulled him closer to her. Jack remembered all the times when he played around with Janet all the time - and she would always push him away. It always made him a little mad since he could never be serious with her. But now they were, and he didn't want to screw anything up.

"It sure is.." His mouth left her neck and suddenly hit her on the lips or a breath-taking kiss. His tongue was proabing against her mouth, wanting to enter. (I think I said that sentence right. I'm not sure..)

Janet gladly took his tongue in to her mouth and playfully kissed him. She felt so warm and safe as they held each other, kissing for what seemed like an eternity.

Janet: "Jack...", she moaned. Gently, she pulled away and looked up in to his eyes, smiling coyly.

"Never before have I wanted to take this further", she whispered. Girlishly, she blushed at her words, but it was true. She really did love him with all her heart and leaving him today just proved how much she would miss him.

Suddenly Janet pulled away from him. He groaned quietly, never wanting to end the kiss. His arms were still around her waist protectively, not wanting to let her go. Leting her go back to her mother's was hard enough for Jack. He smirked at her, realizing that she did love him a lot. He knew that before, but now he was sure.

"Same here, honey.." He caressed her cheek lovingly, trying to capture everything so he would remember it when she was gone.

Janet: " I love you, sweetie. Now, want to help me pack or what?"

Before he could answer, Terri appeared in the doorway.

Janet: "We were just talking about me packing," Janet said in embarrassment. Jack was grinning ear to ear. "My ride will be here soon, Ter...care to help me pack up a few things?"

Terri giggled a little, but the thought of Janet packing brought back the depression. She nodded and quietly followed Janet.

Terri: Sure

Janet: "Oh, Terri, I'm really getting very anxious now. Travelling does that to me." Janet haphazardly threw in some toiletries and things, as Terri stood back and watched. Janet really didn't need someone to help her pack....but, rather, someone to share girl talk with....and who better to than her best friend?

"I'm just so nervous, Terri. I mean, do you think Jack will stick with me even if I'm gone? What if Larry introduces him to another girl and he falls head over heels for her? God, I'm so scared of losing him, Terri."

Terri stood back and watched Janet pack a few last minute items.

Terri: Janet, believe me you have NOTHING to worry about. Jack loves you and besides I'll still be here to make sure nothing happens. Trust me he'll be counting the days until you return, we both will.

Janet: "Thanks, Terri. You've always been so strong, so logical....so right! I guess you're right this time as well. Oh, I hope everything goes well for you two! I'll send money over as soon as I can for this month's rent, ok? And tell Jack not to starve you while I'm gone!"

Before they left the room, Janet glanced at the clock. Almost noon. They had spent so much time talking, that she hardly realized she would be leaving soon. Taking one last look at the room she'd spent nearly 5 years in, she sighed and tried to hold back tears. She'd done enough crying in this apartment. Janet hated anyone to see her crumble.

"It's almost time to go," she whispered to Terri as they dragged her luggage out.

Terri helped Janet move her things to the front door.

Terri: "Well I guess this is it." One last tear fell as she hugged her best friend for the last time. "Good Bye Janet, hurry back" she whispered. She figured Janet would like to say good bye to Jack alone, so she went into the bedroom

Janet: "Bye, Terri....I love you..." she trailed off. She saw Jack standing in front of her, a small smile on his face. Janet cleared her throat to break the awkward silence.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye....my ride should be here any minute."

Janet waited for his reaction.

The pain inside him was going to burst out. Jack couldn't help but wince a few times. Why was this all happening? Why to him? He couldn't help but ask himself those questions. He was on the verge of crying in front of Janet. It was starting to scare him, since he had been crying for a few days - he had never cried that much before. But he couldn't help himself, but luckily he fought the tears.

"Janet..I love you so much. Don't do this to me." He shook his head sliding his arms around her tiny waist. He wished that they could both stay like this forever - in each other's arms. His lips suddenly crushed against hers for a kiss that they never shared before. He didn't waste time on entering his tongue into her mouth. He wanted to capture the moment, knowing that she wouln't be back for a while. Even though the kiss was warm and wonderful, Jack felt like everything was crumbling beneath him.

"Listen Janet, you're my whole world. I don't know what I'm going to do without you. I just wish there was some way that you could stay Janet. I mean, I'd do anything for you to stay. There isn't enough time to tell you how much I truely love you." He told her after he had broken the kiss for what seemed like an eternity. Their foreheads were touching, and Jack thought that this was what real love felt like. He never felt more sure that Janet was the woman he wanted to spend with the rest of his life. Suddenly Jack couldn't fight back the tears - for he began to sob heavily.

And this time, he didn't even care about wiping them away.

Janet didn't have a care in the world as she held Jack. She too sobbed in to his arms, not caring if anyone saw her weakening anymore. She loved this man so much that it hurt-- it physically caused her heart to ache and cry with each touch and each kiss they shared. Jack kissed her ever so passionately and she melted in his arms, becoming one with his embrace.

Janet: "Jack....I'll dream of you every night I'm gone....you'll never escape my thoughts, not even for one second. You're the only one for me."

Janet was so lost in his kisses and the sound of her promises, that she barely heard the car horn sounding from outside. Her ride had arrived.

Jack was so lost in the feeling of Janet in his arms. He loved holding her all the time. He just loved her, period. He wished that there was more time to spend with her, but time was running out for the both of them. Jack felt pressured and nervous, knowing that he needed to figure someway to get her back. He had been thinking about it since the day she told him she was leaving. Suddenly something broke their embrace. It was the sound Jack never wanted to hear in his life.

It was the sound of the horn of the cab - it was Janet's ride.

He knew that the moment he never wanted to happen came. He gave Janet one last goodbye kiss. It was even sweeter and more intense than the last one they had just shared. He wanted to give her the best kissed that no guy had ever given her. Just something to remember him by. Boy, how I'm going to miss those lips, Jack thought. He missed her already, and she didn't even leave yet. More tears fell down his face, and he broke the kiss. For a few seconds, they stood there holding each other. He never wanted to let go, and he never would.

"Janet..no.." He shook his head, watching her step away. He knew that the cab couldn't wait outside forever - and he wished it didn't so she could stay. He took a big gulp, trying his best not to break down in front of her. His one hand left her waist, while the other one was holding on to her hand. She was trying to walk out the door, though he knew that her mind was telling her it wasn't right. He followed her out the door, still holding on to her hand. Letting it go meant that he was going to let her out of his life for a while. He didn't want to though.

"I..love..you.." That was the only words Jack could form as he began to sob again. She too began to cry along with him, telling him that she loved him also. He took her in his arms for one last time. As she walked out the door and down the stairs, Jack stood in the doorway, watching her go to the cab. She waved to him, a look of sadness on her face. He stood up straight, trying to control himself. He waved back to her and blew a kiss at her.

Janet closed the door of apartment 201, the place she had called home for the last few years, the place she thought of as her REAL home. The cab idled in the driveway and the driver gave her a short wave from the window.

Sighing, she stepped inside the cab and looked back at the apartment complex one more time. She imagined Jack was peering out at her from the living room window, tears settling like raindrops against his skin as he watched the woman he loved pull away for what could be a very long time.

"You ok, little lady?" the cab driver asked as he began easing out of the driveway.

Janet: "As ok as I can be for saying goodbye to the man I love," she told him sadly, giving the house a short wave of her own, hoping Jack would somehow catch a glimpse of it.

Terri didn't hear anymore voices, so she peeked through the bedroom doorway. There was Jack in total silence. She could feel her own heart breaking just by looking at him. Finally getting the courage to go talk to him or better yet comfort him, she silently crept over.

Terri: (as quietly as she could) Jack... are you going to be ok?

Ok WilCap, I'll post here in just a minute. Make sure though that when you heard that Jack loves Janet, just be a little suprised but not mad at all - oh and be supportive about the idea.

..What am I doing?

Jack kept asking himself that question over and over again in his head. The sight of Janet walking out the door and down the stairs kept playing in his mind. Things would never be the same again. All the great times they had - there wouldn't be anymore. He had no clue when she was coming back - if she was. If her mom was so stubborn, she would never come back. The thought of that just killed Jack. He didn't know how he was going to go on with his life.

Maybe hurting himself would do the trick.

He shook his head, trying to figure what the hell was wrong with him. He just let the woman of his dreams walk right out the door. And he didn't even stop her. But he knew that he couldn't anyway. Her decision was made, and she had to go home. So what was he going to do? Suddenly he heard Terri's sweet and quiet voice as she came up behind him.

"Terri, I'll never be ok ever again. Not until Janet comes back. I should have stopped her somehow. I don't know what to do now." He looked down at the floor, a tear rolling down from his eye. Right then he felt like a hell of a crybaby. He felt so weak, since there was nothing he could do anymore. Looking up at Terri, he could see the pain in her eyes that they were both feeling at that moment.

She just lost her best friend - but Jack just lost his lover.

Terri could see how much Jack was hurting and she wished she could do something. Then she had an idea.

Terri: Jack (she had managed a mischievous smile) If Janet can't come here, why not go to her? There's no rule why you can't chase after her. You don't want to loose her right? So go for it. What do you have to lose?

As soon as Jack heard those words come out of Terri's mouth, a lightbulb light up in his head. Go after Janet! Chase her, and bring her back. Now why didn't he even think of that? He was still happy, but mad at himself that he didn't think of that sooner. Now Janet was probably at the airport right at that moment.

Or maybe even on the plane.

But nevertheless, he still had a grin on his face. There may be a chance that he could get to her. He hoped to god that he could. He looked over at Terri, who obviously got the messege that he thought chasing Janet was a great idea. He ran up to her, hugged her and kissed her on the cheek. He felt overflowed with joy and excitement. He was going to get Janet back. Suddenly the door bell rang, but he didn't even notice. He was already just imagining how Janet would look when he came to get her.

"Terri, you're such a genius! That's just what I'm going to do!" He got up, and went into the his room. He had already been over at Janet's mothers house before, but it was only one time, and he couldn't remember exactly where it was. So he grabbed a peice of paper, money - in case he needed to get on the plane, and a little bag of clothes. He gave the paper to Terri so she could write down the address of Janet's mothers house, since she had been there more times than Jack. Not to mention she had a good memory. He kissed her on the cheek for a goodbye, and she wished him good luck.

He opened the door, only to see their landlord, Mr. Furley. He was probably there to pick up the rent or something. "Hey, My. Furley I gotta run!" Jack said, running past him through the door. He hoped that Terri would tell Mr. Furley about what was going on. Where Janet was - and her and Jack's new relationship. He looked outside, and luckily there was a cab nearby. He waved for it, and he got there just in time.

"Hey, get me to the Airport and step on it."

*Furley watches as Jack gets in the cab*

Mr. Furley: Terri, where was Jack in such a hurry off to?

Terri watched Jack almost knock over Mr. Furley and she couldn't help but giggle a little at Jack's excitement. Plus it felt good just to laugh again

"You're welcome Jack" she screamed as Jack eagerly got into the cab.

"Hey Mr Furley!" Now noticing that he was still there. "ok it's a long story but i'll try to make it short." She took a deep breath to prepare herself for the long sentence. "Janet had to go home to be with her mother for a while and somewhere in-between there Jack & Janet fell in love, so the reason Jack was running out the door was because I gave him the crazy idea to go chasing after her, so they wouldn't grow too far apart. Do you understand any of what i'm saying?"

Mr. Furley looks at her with the most confused look on his face. He starts saying the things back to himself and then his face drops.

"Did you just say that Jack and Janet... are in love?" He looks at Terri as she is answering. "Our Jack, in love with Janet?"

Terri: ya isn't it wonderful (looks at him hopefully with a huge smile on her face)

Mr. Furley still has the shocked look on his face and is pointing at the direction of where Jack left.

Mr. Furley: But Janet... she is a, she is a GIRL!

Terri leaned back as she got blown away by the intensity of Mr. Furley's voice. "Yeah, I think we kind of got that a while ago" she giggled again. "But anyways... " She thought for a moment. "Well... I guess it's safe to tell you. You see Mr. Furley... Jack really isn't gay" Speaking quickly before Mr. Furley could interrupt. "but we had to let you think he was, so that he can live here."

Furley still with the look of shock on his face listening to Terri tell him the news about Jack. Terri snaps her fingers infront of him a few times and he pops out of it.

Mr. Furley: So all this time, Jack, has been straight? He and Janet have been together ALL this time?

Terri: Well no they haven't been together the whole time, but don't get me wrong they were still really close friends and everything. Besides I had a feeling they liked each other since the day i moved in, although they just made it official recently.

Mr. Furley finally gets the shocked look off of his face.

Mr. Furley: Everything happens right under your nose I tell you. First the cat went crazy in 204 and now this. What else has happen?

Terri thought deeply about the result of what might happen if she told Mr. Furley everything that has happened over the years.

I’m not that stupid She thought.

"Well if I tell you everything that went on in this apartment you would probably evict us, so I’m just going to keep my mouth shut." Getting annoyed by Mr. Furley's presence. "Is there something you wanted Mr. Furley?"

Mr. Furley thinks of the reason that he came up here.

Mr. Furley: Oh yeah, I came up here to tell you that you have four hours with the rent or else.

Terri: (sarcastically) Thanks a lot. Don't you ever have any good news when you come up here?

Mr. Furley: Well, not really, I am a landlord, my job is to make tenants miserable

Terri started to slowly push him out the door. "Ok well thank you very much bye" Then she closed the door behind him.

"Why do I let that man in our apartment?" She asked herself while shaking her head. The memory of Jack and Janet started to slowly come back into her mind. Suddenly she got a big smile on her face. "I wonder how everything went...." She mumbled while looking around the living room. "Boy it sure does look empty in here though." She sighed and took a deep breath. "I have got to stop talking to myself" She thought as she walked into her bedroom.

Mr. Furley stands outside the door after being pushed out by Terri.

Mr. Furley: Wonder what she was in such a hurry for? We were having such a good time.

He shakes his head and goes downstairs

Larry Dallas sighed happily as he walked out of his apartment. He had just gotten off the phone with Greedy Gretchen, who with a little begging, decided to go out with him. He knew that he needed to tell Jack right away. He was so excited, and his mind wandered off as to what would happen that night. He made his way down the stairs, and caught a little glimpse of Mr. Furley walking down the stairs to his apartment.

"Hey R.F!" He hollered, and heard Mr. Furley as he greeted him back. He finally made his way to Apartment 201, and knocked on the door - just like he usually did. He heard Terri's voice answer as she told him to come in. He suddenly opened the door and looked around the room, hoping that Jack was there. But all he saw was Terri.

"Hey Ter. Where's Jack?" slowly walking around the room. He finally made his way over to where Terri was, and searched the room again. It was obvious to him that Janet wasn't there either, because she would have been in the living room by that time.

Terri was laying on the couch reading a magazine when she heard Larry's voice. "Come in" she yelled. As she watched Larry start to look around the apartment, she continued to read her magazine "You can look all you want but you're not going to find them."

"Well, I was just looking for Jack. But since you said 'them', I'm getting suspicious." He grinned, thinking about where they would be. A little lightbulb popped into his mind, and he was thinking that they were probably off doing something kinky or something. Larry always thought that Jack and Janet had a little thing going on, but they never admitted it.

"Maybe they're off somewhere getting it on." He started to laugh, and when he saw the look on Terri's face, he suddenly stopped laughing. It was obvious to him that something serious was going on.

Janet arrived in Speedway a couple hours after a long flight. She was exhausted and couldn't keep her mind off of Jack; she hoped he was ok. Sighing, Janet kept her eyes peeled for her mother's car and thought about Terri, Jack, RF, and even Larry.

' I love you all,' she thought sadly.

Suddenly a car horn sounded and she caught a glimpse of her mother idling near the airport terminal.

((ok, sorry it was short but I woke up late and I'm tired :( I hope this was ok))

Jack was out of breath as he finally sat down in one of the seats on the plane. He ran around the whole town, looking for a single plane ticket. He finally got it and rushed over to the airport, with the peice of paper still clutched in his hand. He gave the lady his ticket and made his way on the plane. Suddenly as he sat down, he totally forgot how much he hated planes. His eyes got wide, and his hands gripped the seat handles.

"Be strong for Janet." He nodded and took big breaths, trying to calm himself down. Once they got off the ground though, he felt a little bit better. By the time the plane landed, Jack was half asleep from all the stress that he had. As soon as it stopped though, Jack was the first one out of the plane. He finally got out of the airport, and onto the streets. Indiana sure was different than California. It was less crowded, and it had more land. But he managed to get a small cab, and he was off to get his love back.

"Oh come on Terri, I'll behave." He laughed and lifted two fingers in the air, like a little boy scout. "I promise." He laughed again and looked at Terri. She looked like she still didn't believe what he was saying. He walked over to where she was and looked her straight in the eyes.

"I swear on my mothers grave, ok?" He smiled at her hopefully.

Terri saw that Larry was really serious about this. "ya.. sure.. ok.. what could it hurt, but I’m only going to stay with you until Jack & Janet come back and then we'll see from there. This is only temporary you understand. I don't want to trouble you that much and overstay my welcome."

"Oh, ok.." He nodded, trying his best not to show how much he was hurt. It wasn't that bad, but he wanted her to stay a little bit more. But he had no idea when Jack and Janet would be back. He looked around, and noticed that Terri didn't have anything for her to stay at his apartment. "Um..do you want to get your things?" He looked around again, thinking he might of missed it. But he didn't. He got up, knowing he would have to carry them.

Terri noticed that Larry didn't seem his usual, happy, energetic self. "Are you ok?" She asked, as she put one hand on his shoulder.

He felt butterflies in his stomach as Terri put her hand on his shoulder. He shook his head, and got up from the couch, walking over to the door. "Yeah, I'm fine. Let's just get your things, ok?" He looked at her, trying to change the subject.

Terri still a little worried "ok... if you're sure that you're fine"

"Yes, just drop it ok!" He tried not to show how much he was hurt, but he knew that she would get suspicious. He left the apartment, and headed downstairs to gather her things. He didn't know why he was so hurt, but it was killing him a lot.

Terri back away a little, not expecting the intensity of Larry's voice. She thought it best not to say anything else to him for a little while. They quietly walked up to her apartment with an awkward silence following them.

They both didn't say a word as they walked down to the apartment and went inside. It seemed so quite without Jack or Janet around. He waited for Terri to come out with her bags. Once she carried them out into the living room, Larry picked them all up, and walked over to the door with struggle.

"I could help you carry something." She finally broke the silence. "I don't want you to hurt yourself or anything on my account." She smiled and picked up two of heaviest suitcases. "There we go much better."

He looked over at her and watched as she took away the heaviest bags. He had to chuckle a little as she walked with difficulty. He shook his head and walked over to where she was. He put the rest of the bags down, and took the bags she had away from her. He picked them all up again, and this time he could walk straight.

"Women.." He rolled his eyes. "Hey, aren't you going to write them a note or something? To tell them you're staying with me?" He asked her, while he was walking towards the door.

Terri looked around the room and then back at Larry. "Think Larry who is going to be here to read it?"

He rolled his eyes again, and looked around the empty apartment, then back at her. "Terri, they're going to read it when they come back." He hit his head with his hand, and accidently dropped all of the bags.

Terri was starting to get frustrated with Larry. "ok fine you want a note, you'll get a note" She walks into the kitchen and brings the note out "Here" She puts it on the door and walks out to Larry's apartment. "This is going to be a long couple of months" She thought as she sat down on the couch waiting for Larry.

Larry couldn't help but admire how strong Terri was. She was always independent, but he never saw her so mad. Yeah, Terri and Janet would always yell at him sometimes, but Terri sounded frustrated and annoyed. He entered his apartment, and saw Terri sitting on the couch. Obviously, something was bothering her. He set the bags down, and made his way over to the couch. He put his hand on her shoulder.
