I almost ran over a man, a cat, and almost hit 3 cars and still didn't fail.

I plan on taking my drivers test this summer sometime finally. I'm 21 and still don't have my license. I'm REALLY scared that I'll fail, but I think it all depends on who you have for an instructor. Some might fail you just for maybe not using your blinker one time, but another one might pass you even if you hit a bunch of other cars and stuff.

the instructor says I did not stop completly at a stop sign and I did. Everybody else in the car knew I stopped but her. Another person tested the same day and almost ran into another car but I was the one who failed. It does not make sense.

I failed the first time I took my driver's test. I was doing really good, but then I got cocky and wasn't paying attention and blew a stop sign.

I had the highest grade in my driver's ed class. I passed my test with the instructor and then I didn't have to take the test at the DMV. I just walked in, took my picture, and got my license.

I started driving in the wrong lane for a brief moment.. but still passed. I was really nervous. The guy was like, "I really should fail you" ... but he didnt.

I'm always nervous when someone's looking over my shoulder judging how I drive. I guess I'll never get over that feeling, even though I've had my driver's license for a little over 2 years now.

As far as the driving part, I passed really easy and I didn't have to take it at the DMV. I missed one question on the written and had to take it again.

I almost failed the General Knowledge question part of the Virginia driving test. All I know is that I was doing well on it until I missed like three questions in a row, and then I missed a fourth later on and the screen went blue because I guess the test was over and I was so nervous that I failed that I asked one of the DMV workers to read to me what it said on the screen, and she said that I passed, which was a huge sigh of relief. :o :faint:

It took me six tries to pass my test, so I totally hear you. It's definitely frustrating. There were times when I was ready to give up and say that I just wasn't meant to drive. But I finally did manage to pass, and I'm SO glad! My biggest problem was always parallel parking, but thankfully I live in an area where you almost never have to do it!

I passed mine the first time I tried (July 31, 1979). But, being a certified car guy, I wasn't surprised I passed.

About two years before I legally drove, one of my brothers let me operate (push) the accelerator on his '66 Plymouth Fury III V-8. And a high school friend let me drive his '69 Chevelle (6-cylinder) in a parking lot.

I passed the written test with only 4 mistakes and the driving test, I passed on the second try. The first time, I didn't make a complete stop at one stop sign and I completely missed another one.

I can't take my driving test until I'm 16 and 1 month, that'll be in July. However, I just got my permit yesterday! Woo! I didn't fail that :p
