Does anyone know if all 274 shows have been put onto DVD? Ideally I'd like to get every show, and in chronological order if possible. I've had no end of trouble getting even any DVDs here in New Zealand but finally managed to get a 5 DVD set imported from a sympathetic shop. None of the shows are in order however (in fact the first one "The Clampetts strike Oil" is number 17 in the list! Also the theme is not the same, which is also disappointing. I have also noticed this with some other old TV shows as well. Has it got something to do with copyright by the singers/songwriters? Bonanza for example has the original theme music on some DVDs I have, yet it is not on others, which also have different covers, so are obviously marketed by a different company. I feel like Ive trawled all over the net trying to find a comprehensive set, and the most promising so far is one advertised on Amazon due to be released on April 12 2005. It is called the "Beverly Hillbillies Collection". I also noticed that in 2004 there was a "Treasure Box Collection" of the Beverly Hillbillies, but neither of these mentioned if every episode was included, or if they were in chronological order. It can be a bit confusing when in one episode the Clampetts are feuding because Elly May has been jilted by the Sonny Drysdale, but in the next episode (on DVD), he is courting her! HELP.....I feel like Im in Hillbilly Hell LOL.
If there is anyone out there that can make head or tail of what is goin on with how the companies are issuing these DVDs I'd be eternally grateful.
