In the first season, in the control room at "American Bandstand", there was an overweight guy working in the room. I don't think we ever found out his name, so I started calling him booth guy. During the musical preformances, they would cut to him, and he would be bopping to the music, and would be really into it. They didn't really have him in the second season, and I haven't seen him at all in the third season. I thought it was something kind of cool. I wonderded if anyone else remembered him and/or missed seeing him enjoy the music. I think I liked it because it showed that rock and roll music wasn't just for teenagers, and that adults could like it too.

On another note, please send postcards to NBC, and send emails voting to save "American Dreams" to tvdiva@eonline.com

Yeah, it was cool seeing him. It seems he's not in there anymore just like the new producer guy who came in during the second season--whatever happened to him? I think it's because they only have like 40 minutes of the show so there's no time to put in any extra-for-fun stuff.

I remember that guy. That's true they don't show him anymore. And, as it seems they may not shoe American Bandstand much anymore if Meg and Roxanne both leave because of their age. :)
