View Full Version : Eating disorder stuff......
G-Force Glockstar 03-05-2005, 04:32 PM I'm really really fat and I'm trying hard to lose weight, espically on my legs because they're so fat (and my sisters won't stop letting me remember that), and I know the answer is belimia and anorexious (sp?), but my Dad said if I do that, he'll make me lose all my privilges (sorry, I'm not spelling good today) :(
What should I do? I can't lose weight......and I've already done the "eat heathly", "eat less", and "excerise alot" stuff, but it didn't work.
MaydayMalonesGirl 03-05-2005, 04:38 PM and I know the answer is belimia and anorexious (sp?),
...no it's not. Those are both diseases. They may make you skinnier, but in the long run it's just going to screw your life up.
TheGreatPretender 03-05-2005, 04:40 PM Drink lots of water, run, ride a bike, and jump/ skip rope if you want to lose weight in your legs. And I also suggest calf raises. and subsitute certain things like subsitute celery for cookies, crackers for potatoe chips etc. And maybe ask your parents to buy lower fat percentages of milk. Like 2% or 1% instead of whole milk. And drink lots of water. But remember bulimia and anorexia is NEVER the answer. If you eat three meals a day and just cut down on sugary snacks than you will be fine. There are healthy ways of losing weight if you need to.

I've only tried it once, it really hurt my throught and stomach.....my Dad only got mad and said I'm not allowed to do that anymore
My one friend just laughed when I told her my Dad said that, and my friends sister is allowed to do it.
TheGreatPretender 03-05-2005, 04:42 PM my friends sister is allowed to do it.
Wow what ****ty parents she must have.

Your dad is 100% correct on that one... letting your child have an eating disorder is COMPLETELY ridiculous. Are you aware that bulima and anorexia can kill you?

Alright, thanks....but still, whenever I do that excersie on my legs, it doesn't really help. I don't wanna drink too much, either.
Sorry, I know most of my threads I make sound childish, but no one can blame me because it's my parents who are so "protective" over me and I don't watch enough TV. Well, that's a different story...
G-Force Glockstar 03-05-2005, 04:45 PM Wow what ****ty parents she must have.
Actually, she lives with her Grandma.....her Mom's in jail for rape, and her Dad lives somewhere else for some reason.
G-Force Glockstar 03-05-2005, 04:47 PM Are you aware that bulima and anorexia can kill you?
Yeah, but it's worth it....I don't even like my life.
MaydayMalonesGirl 03-05-2005, 04:48 PM Actually, she lives with her Grandma.....her Mom's in jail for rape, and her Dad lives somewhere else for some reason.
Why would you want to follow the example of someone who lives in a household like that? She obviously isn't very well supervised under those circumstances.

I have lots and lots of friends whos parents let them do whatever they want....it's normal. I'm not normal.
TheGreatPretender 03-05-2005, 04:50 PM Alright, thanks....but still, whenever I do that excersie on my legs, it doesn't really help. I don't wanna drink too much, either.
Drinking lots of water is actually good. It keeps your systems flushed and you have more energy because you are hydrated to exercise.
I dunno actually what works for some people. People lose weight in different places. But if you go out running maybe 2 times or so a week and break up a sweat, sticking with that will be good.
MaydayMalonesGirl 03-05-2005, 04:50 PM Yeah, but it's worth it....I don't even like my life.
I can relate to you with that, but you're only 13 years old. Your life hasn't even begun yet. Things will get better.
MaydayMalonesGirl 03-05-2005, 04:51 PM I have lots and lots of friends whos parents let them do whatever they want....it's normal. I'm not normal.
That's unfornate that your friends have such crappy parents. You should be grateful that you're parents care about you enough to make sure you're making the right decisions.
G-Force Glockstar 03-05-2005, 04:52 PM EDIT
G-Force Glockstar 03-05-2005, 04:52 PM I can relate to you with that, but you're only 13 years old. Your life hasn't even begun yet. Things will get better.
Yes, they will, when I'm 18 with my own apartment.
MaydayMalonesGirl 03-05-2005, 04:53 PM Whenever I eat or drink something, my one stupid sister, Jasmine (whos 11) always says "It's fattening" and makes a fat geusture with her hands on her stomach. She thinks I'm obese.
Your sister is obviously a little brat. She doesn't seem very intelligent, so why even listen to her?

They're strict! We're not allowed to watch any TV on the weekdays (except American Idol sometimes) and only one show on the weekends. There's another bad thing.....
TheGreatPretender 03-05-2005, 04:53 PM Yeah, but it's worth it....I don't even like my life.
:(
Listen you may feel that way now, but as hard as things may seem starving your self is NEEEVER worth it. Your life will actually get worse if you have an eating disorder. So many bad things could come out of it.
G-Force Glockstar 03-05-2005, 04:54 PM Your sister is obviously a little brat. She doesn't seem very intelligent, so why even listen to her?
Yeah, she's a brat. I listen to her because I'm senstive, she thinks she's better than others, she is the most popular person in her grade, and she has a boyfriend who is actually mean to me too! Well, he use to....

Wow... that does suck. That's still better then having parents who don't care about you.
G-Force Glockstar 03-05-2005, 05:00 PM Wow... that does suck. That's still better then having parents who don't care about you.
Yeah, I hate it! They can't care about me (at least it seems like that) because my friend Marisol has parents who let her do WHATEVER she wants all the time, but her parents still love and care for her. Heck sometimes I see her parents kiss her.....yeah, my parents may love and care for me, but they don't let me do whatever I want.

Yeah I have strict parents too it does suck alot. But parents have to set limits for their kids. They probably don't let you watch alot of TV so it doesn't get in the way of your school work or other productive things. But remember it's because they love you. No normal parent lets their kid do whatever they want. Except neglecting parents.

Part of being a parent is controlling your children. I know of parents who didn't control her daughter and she's DEAD right now. She was only sixteen years old and she's gone. How do you think your parents would feel if you died of something that they might have been able to prevent? Think about it.

Yeah, I guess.
Our pastor at Church let's his kids watch all the TV they want.....but he has 9 kids....so that may be a little bit different.

I agree that that whole TV thing is ridiculous. If my parents did that to me I'd be pissed, too.

Yeah, no other parents do that rule.
G-Force Glockstar 03-05-2005, 05:12 PM Oh, I forgot to metion....omg, my butt is HUGE!! I hate that!! I already wear size 16 (pants)
Superstar 03-05-2005, 05:13 PM Mackenzie, you should just try to eat healthy and excercise. Anorexia and bulimia is not the answer, it may seem like a good thing right now but soon you won't be able to control your weight and you'll end up being extremely underweight.
MissZero 03-05-2005, 05:15 PM bolemia and anorexia is never the answer....you really need to do the right kinds of exercise CONSISTENTLY, and nothing works over night it's gonna take time. Also stope drinking sodas and any other sugar filled drink and replace it with water
G-Force Glockstar 03-05-2005, 05:20 PM Having belimia or anorexious would be so much easier to have if I lived by myself.....because I could control my self more and just stay doing something else.....but instead, I go to school (either being sick or feeling forced to eat), go out to eat, and all that stuff.
And some people just laugh when they hear I wanna get thinner (probably because I'll never get thinner), but some people care and say I shouldn't do it and stuff....yeah I should wait. But my sisters never stop harassing me.

Hang in there babe. know that you should never allow ridicule by others to force you to harm yourself. If your really into the idea of losing weight stay determined do a search on "fitness" for different workouts or see a nutritionist, do whatever it takes just dont harm yourself too many people really do care.
G-Force Glockstar 03-05-2005, 05:32 PM Today is Audree (my youngest sister)'s birthday.....so tonight we're going to Tokoyoka (sp?) to eat dinner, and boy do they fix a lot of food! (they cook the food in front of you).....what should I do? Just not eat much?
I'll do the best I can.....and to drink, is it ok if I have diet coke? Or is that kind of bad for you?

If they cook the food right in front of you it's most likely a Japanese restaurant. They have stuff with vegtebles don't they?

is that a japanese restaurant cause the name sounds like it, if it is I don't know much about how that kind of food is prepared. Diet Coke is good, theres no real sugar in it (regular coke has 16 tsp in it!!!)
G-Force Glockstar 03-05-2005, 05:37 PM Yeah, it's a Japense restraunt. And yeah, they have some vegetables, but I don't like calories, period.

How long have you been excerising? Loosing weight does not happen over night, it does take time. I have never been fat, but I have been out of shape. I highly recommend that you stay away from sugar and fast food, and continue with a simple exercise program like walking for an hour (which burns 300 calories) and drink a lot of water..and I guarantee that you will loose the weight. Straving yourself and making yourself to vomit is definitely not the answer :(
MissZero 03-05-2005, 05:43 PM Yeah, it's a Japense restraunt. And yeah, they have some vegetables, but I don't like calories, period.
next time you go grocery shopping buy some low calorie food items then. I think theres like low-cal yogurts nd stuff. As for dinner tonight dont worry much about the calories as long as you don't eat too much your fine. Anything is good in moderation. You'll probably be better off witha vegetable dish though.

Water..drink a lot of water...diet sodas are better than regular ones that are filled with sugar...

Yeah that. I know a girl who was very over weight in 7th grade and that year she joined the track team and let me tell ya it worked wonders. Were in 9th grade now nd shes a lot healthier and thinner

There is going to be calories in everything. I don't think you could get as simple as a vegetable dish. And if you do wanna stay away from calories don't drink ANY soda. Even diet, it may have less sugar but it's not that healthy really. Just drink water instead.

Simple walking and staying away from sugar and junk food will cause you to loose weight; it does take time, so people need to learn to be patient. I am assuming that Lana Lang is young so I do not think she is going to have any problems at all loosing weight. Exercise is the key and cutting down on foods that are not healthy is the key, and do not strave yourself..Straving yourself will just cause you to loose your motivation and that will lead you to over eat...
If you are determined to loose weight then you will.
Good Luck to Lana..because it is hard, but the results of looking FABULOUS are worth the tenacity... :)
G-Force Glockstar 03-05-2005, 05:55 PM Thanks everyone....
I'm 5 feet, and around 102 pounds. Isn't that alot?
Shouldn't I be in the 80's? That's what most of my 13 year old friends are.

WHAT! Honey, you are far from being fat! And you are only 13 years old, you still are growing!
And everybody looks different at different weights..so do not compare to your friends who weigh 80 pounds..that is ridiculous!
If you feel that you have heavy legs..which at 102 pounds I find hard to believe..then each day take a simple walk around your neightborhood or another area where it is safe..for an hour..and then I swear within less than a month..you are going to be the envy of your friends...

Ok....but my friends would never be jealous of me, lol because my parents are really strict about some things.
And none of my friends are really worrying about their weight right now....one of my friends who is 15 use to try to lose weight and now she's only 96 pounds.

Honey, I think that you should be happy for being you, and I know that it is hard at your age. When I was 13 I was heavier than all of my friends as well, because by the time I was your age I was five foot seven, but nowadays I am thinner than all of them and in better shape..So do not compare yourself to your friends and try to be happy being yourself... :)
AllIWantIsYourClutch 03-05-2005, 06:26 PM Anorexia and bulimia are not quick ways to lose weight. Saying "My dad won't let me be bulimic" is stupid because you don't wake up one day and say "Hey, I think I'm going to be bulimic." Eating disorders are just that...disorders. They aren't generally something you want.
Mijada 03-05-2005, 07:37 PM Having belimia or anorexious would be so much easier to have if I lived by myself.....because I could control my self more and just stay doing something else.
Believe me you don't want to be living by yourself if you keep on having these kinds of thoughts. You need adults to look after and care for you. Your sisters sound like a couple of little brats who need a good slap. 5'5" and 102 pounds is not that big anyway, in time you will grow into your body and you will look better proportioned. Just do what these people tell you and lay off the sweets and exercise more. Sometimes it takes months to see results but if you stick to it it will work out for you in the long run. If this issue bothers you so much and you don't feel like your parents are listening to you, try and talk to a school counselor. That's what they are there for. I had some problems my senior year of HS and this one counselor helped me out alot. Just talking to someone outside of the family and letting your feelings out really helps. You may think that becoming anorexic/bulemic will put you in control but that is not true. If you choose that route, before long that disease will end up controlling you.
TheHappyBurgerMeister 03-05-2005, 09:35 PM 5 feet and 100 lbs is NOT fat at all! Actually, I think that's skinny! You do NOT need to be as skinny as your friends. That would be extremely unhealthy to weigh that little. You are completely fine the way you are and if you're sister says you're fat, well then she's an idiot! It's not because she's 11, ANYONE of any age who says someone is fat when they're really not are complete idiots.

Yeah, I just hope my sisters don't really think I'm fat....maybe they're just saying that to be mean or get me mad.
Well, I still think I'm a little fat.....
I'm going to tell you one and one thing only.
Do NOT take the anorexia or bulimia route. Do searches on Karen Carpenter and just read her story. She suffered from anorexia nervosa from 1975 to 1983, only she wasn't cured of it. She [b]died[/i] on February 4, 1983. I hold her story very VERY close to my heart, and to hear someone talk of the disease as if it is a regular method of weight loss...well it just pisses me off like you won't believe.

¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 03-05-2005, 10:42 PM Yeah, but it's worth it....I don't even like my life.
If you didnt like your life, then you wouldnt waste your time trying to be thing- no matter how you do it.
Anyways, seriously dont be stupid. Youre gonna wind up dead if thats the way you want to 'diet'. Cut back your food intake and start moving. I started my diet on Jan. 5th and so far have lost 15 pounds.

Holy ****. Honey, you have nothing to worry about. You're not even overweight. I weigh 115 pounds, guess I should go and starve myself?
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 03-06-2005, 12:53 AM Well, I still think I'm a little fat.....That's because you're a girl and critical about your body. Don't do stupid things because of it, just do your best to get over it. With the body you have now, you have nothing to worry about. If you stooped down as low as anorexia or something, THEN things would get bad.
MsOrange 03-06-2005, 12:56 AM I had a friend die from anorexia. It's not a diet, damnit, and it pisses me off when people say, "oh, i'll be anorexic for about a month or so, just to loose the weight."
You wanna ruin your health, or better yet, kill yourself? You wanna hurt everyone who knows and loves you? You wanna rip the heart of anyone that cares about you and stomp on it? Then go for it.
You wanna actually loose a few pounds, which honey, from what you have said, you do not need to loose, then go on a diet. If your unhappy about your legs, it's not your weight, that's tone. Work on some squats and some lunges... that'll help your butt too. Be smart, and do it right. Anything worth having is worth working for. Be a real woman, and work for it.

...if that's a lot, then I guess I'm fat cuz that's just about what I am now.
For real though, I will admit, there have been times where I've thought I was fat. Everyone has these moments where they look at themselves and aren't happy with their weight. But you know what I did about it? I stopped eating a bunch of food that was bad for me. Last year I sorta had this breakdown because (sure, everyone go on and judge me for this one but I really need to share this) I stepped on the scale and broke the 100 mark, as in, I reached 100 pounds. 104 to be exact. Prior to that, the last time I weighed myself I was like 95ish. I was just so surprised to see a 3 digit number on the scale and I felt so bad about myself and so huge that I thought about things I ate on a daily basis and stuff I should stop eating. Back then, I'd have McDonalds at least once a week, twice sometimes. I stopped eating there and already I began to feel healthier. Looking back on it now, it was definitely not something to make a big deal out of, but I felt better about myself once I just changed my diet around a little bit. Don't stop eating or throw up what you eat... just make a few modifications to what you're eating if you're really that concerned. Think about if you're eating too much of something that can potentially be bad for you.
Plus, as much as this world doesn't like to admit it, the best weigh to lose weight is exercise. I do field hockey in the fall (well I start it in the summer) and though at first I'm in excruciating pain, by the end of the season I feel great and in shape. Right now, I'm doing track and since it just started, like field hockey I'm in excruciating pain. I'm not saying you need to go out and join a sport, but just exercise. At first your body will be hurting, but soon you'll build up endurance and get used to it.
Hope I gave some good advice and hope that all goes well for you :)
dawsongirl 03-06-2005, 03:39 AM Wow what ****ty parents she must have.
Really. What parents, who know about their child's problem, just sits back and says, "Sure, go ahead and have bulimia. Sounds like a good plan!"
dawsongirl 03-06-2005, 03:42 AM Whenever I eat or drink something, my one stupid sister, Jasmine (whos 11) always says "It's fattening" and makes a fat geusture with her hands on her stomach. She thinks I'm obese.
Your sister is an immature brat. Sorry, but it's true. Don't listen to a thing she says.
dawsongirl 03-06-2005, 03:52 AM Yeah, I hate it! They can't care about me (at least it seems like that) because my friend Marisol has parents who let her do WHATEVER she wants all the time, but her parents still love and care for her. Heck sometimes I see her parents kiss her.....yeah, my parents may love and care for me, but they don't let me do whatever I want.
If parents always just let their kids do whatever they wanted, then they'd never learn how to act properly in society. It'd be total anarchy. Tweens and teens are extremely impressionable, so if parents let the street teach them values, they're gonna grow up without any respect for society, property, or themselves. It may seem like being able to do whatever you want is cool and all that, but it's not in the long run.
Your parents may be a tad strict, but they only set these limits for you because that's what they think is right to have you grow up and be a well-rounded person. If they didn't care about you at all, they wouldn't give a crap what you did. Your dad would let you have an eating disorder and let it kill you. He obviously doesn't want you to do that and get hurt.
dawsongirl 03-06-2005, 03:58 AM Thanks everyone....
I'm 5 feet, and around 102 pounds. Isn't that alot?
Shouldn't I be in the 80's? That's what most of my 13 year old friends are.
80s?! OMG. When I was 13, I finally cracked 100 and I was not anywhere near fat. And I was probably around 5 feet, maybe 5'1".
I'm 5'4" and 128-130. I'm not fat, just out of shape. So you are fine. My aunt is probably 5'3", and she's roughly 180. She is overweight. 3 inches and 80 pounds less...no way can you be fat.
Superstar 03-06-2005, 04:07 AM If you really want to lose weight then you should cut out all snacks and sodas and only eat meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner). You should go for walks, or you should cycle everyday. But, so you don't deprieve yourself, have a day (eg Sunday) where you can eat sweet things. If you don't have a day where you can eat whatever you want, you'll feel like you are deprieving yourself.
swedeace 03-06-2005, 10:34 AM Lana Lang,
You are still quite young, so routine exercisng will not be a problem for you. What you can do is join an aftershool sport activity (track, softball, basketball, tennis, swimming, etc). I think that in no time, you will get a chance to keep in shape so you feel healthier and feel good about yourself.
Also, by doing the above, you won't miss TV as much because you will be busy. Think of the benefits. You will also meet new friends and won't be around at home to let your bratty sisters bother you. :)
Also, try veggies and low-cal, carbless snacks, drinks, and food.
But NEVER go bulemic or anorexic, please! It's NOT healthy. Sure, it looks like you can slim down, but causing yourself to purposely vomit is actually hurting your body. You lose hormones that are released when you make your food go up. Please don't continue with it!
See, we are ALL rooting for you!! You can do it! You can do it! :)

No. Your not obese at all.
Your friends are too skinny
EmoJoe 03-06-2005, 10:39 AM Anyway if you really want to lose weight: Just dont eat too much junk food, eat more veggies, fruit, ect. and exersize. I did that and i lost like 10 pounds in two weeks. No lie.

You have pretty good metabolism there, since you're still young. :)
Everybody else is right - Lana, please ignore your sister. You also need to work on not being so sensitive. Learn to tune your sister out when she starts insulting you. -DON'T- think about her insults so much.
Being a size 16 youth at your weight is a pretty good thing...You aren't overweight at all. Most girls your age are around that size or wear up to a size 0 or 1 in juniors. You were saying something earlier about your calves being big, and somebody else, I believe it was MsOrange?, said it was NOT fat...it sounds like you don't have a lot of muscles in your calves, from what you're telling us...Try the exercises as she suggested. You cannot lose weight overnight, like everybody else has said...It takes patience and hard work.
I know you don't want to hear 'patience' and 'hard work'...but believe me, these two are effective tools. Just look at ¤I Love Clay Aiken¤. She began her diet two months ago and has already lost 15 pounds. She changed her diet, and she exercises daily. YOu won't notice much of a change in the first few weeks; after about a month, you'll start noticing changes. :) Since you really don't need to lose any weight, you can just work on toning up your body. There are exercises to do that will help you get in shape. :)
Eating in moderation is a MAJOR good thing. You can still eat junk food, but limit yourself. Eat more healthy foods. Find fruits and veggies to snack on, instead of junk food. And for heaven's sake, STAY AWAY FROM FAST FOOD PLACES! A single meal from McDonald's has enough calories to last you 1.5 days. I made the decision to quit eating at fast food places back in October, and I have felt so much better since then.
G-Force Glockstar 03-06-2005, 01:21 PM Yeah, defintly no more fast food restraunts.....my cousin is over and we all just drove through Wendys, but I didn't get anything, even though I was really hungry. I just said I wasn't hungry.

Oh my goddd. Enjoy your youth and eat fast food. As long as you don't eat it every single day it won't cause a problem.

I agree, definately.
G-Force Glockstar 03-06-2005, 02:56 PM Great, now Audree's (my other sister who's 9) is calling me fatty and chubby.....why don't I go to Iraq and starve for a year until I'm as skinny as a stick! Then I can call HER fat!

You need to stop worrying. Your not fat, first of all (or at least from what your weight is you arent). Just, as i said, exersize and cut out too much junk food. It doesnt mean you can never have junk food again until your thin as a toothpick.
Number 9 Dream 03-06-2005, 05:23 PM Never EVER turn to making yourself throw up(or starve) just because you want to be thin. It's not worth making yourself sick over- trust me, I've been there. And, honestly, food in MODERATION is good for you- food makes us happy and function well. Well, say goodbye to your favorite foods that you love if you plan on starving yourself.
Don't let anyone detroy your body image. Being sickly thin isn't attractive, nor is being dead. Eat right, stay active, and you'll be fine :) We're all beautiful.
The Modfather 03-06-2005, 07:24 PM Keep up the eating disorder and you could look like this http://www2.bc.edu/~zebo/fwsfall2002/pharos/Figure/disturbing%20anorexoa%20II.jpg I doubt they'd call you fat.

I'm obese. Trust me, unfortunately, it's not that uncommon anymore.

Tell your sister to shove it. She's probably just say all that to piss you off. Besides...she's nine. What does she know about who's "fat" and who's not?

I'd kill to be 180. I'm 5'4.5," and I weigh about 245 pounds. If anyone needs to diet, it's me. :(
Lady T 03-07-2005, 02:08 AM 102 pounds is obese? Dear God..then I must be a whale at 125 pounds
As for as a nine year old saying that you are fat! Slap her around a bit, what a brat! She is just saying that because she knows that you are sensitive about your weight, which is ridiculous; I highly recommend that you ignore your little sister, and focus on improving yourself esteem.
Georgia's on my Mind 03-07-2005, 03:38 AM people are so moronic, grow up and get a clue.

That's my goal right now. I'm the same height and I used to weigh 245. I've gone down to 214, and I know I have a long way to go but I'm still happy. In my case it's a little bit more serious though because I already have Diabetes. Since I was diagnosed this past December, I've been working my butt off and watching everything I eat and the weight is coming off with it. I wish you luck, I know you can make it.

Michael [hXc] 03-07-2005, 04:49 PM wow..... 102 pounds is fat?? i'm 106 pounds, and i'm 5'5. i must be fat too. hell, we must all be if that's the case.
Mackenzie, if your sisters call you fat, find one of their own imperfections to shove down their throats. i bet you could find a lot of them. torture them with it until they become as self conscious as they've made you. after that, they'll learn what ******* they are. also don't forget to give your sisters nice slaps across the face.
but as to the weight issue you think you have, try to take small steps towards healthier food habits. every few days, replace a junk food with something slightly healthier until you're eating a majority of low fat foods. reserve a special day for you to have a small amount of junk food. try exercising too. try some sit ups, leg lifts, and do jumping jacks.

Exactly  Im 107 and 5"5, I guess im obese too
And Yeah I agree. Just exerisize and WATCH what you eat. That doesnt mean cut out everything that has over 2 calories in it and it definitley doesnt mean go and starve yourself.
Michael [hXc] 03-07-2005, 06:40 PM the key word here is moderation. eat less and eat more healthful foods but don't go overboard or starve yourself.

yeah, i know so many people who try to skip meals and stuff, but thats not how you do it.
Warm & Fuzzy 03-07-2005, 07:34 PM Lang Lang, first off, at 5 feet and 102 pounds, your body mass index is 19.9, and that is within the average range of 18.5-24.9 (the thinner half). So, you do not need to lose weight. You probably just have a distorted image of yourself.
Secondly, it's "bulimia" and "anorexia." (Sorry, but I get offended when people spell them wrong). Neither of them is a lifestyle. It is also not something you choose. They are disorders/diseases and they will make you SUFFER.
Thirdly, I myself suffer from an array of eating disorders. Take into consideration some of my previous posts. I'm not going to go and look for them, but if I were you, I would look carefully before approaching such a dangerous path to weight loss. You are 13, right? Don't screw yourself up like I did. I am 16 now, and I am miserable, unhappy, isolated, depressed... life is not well. So don't do what I did. Go to http://www.something-fishy.org, and scare yourself off.
Sorry to be blunt, but eating disorders KILL, if not physically, emotionally. TRUST me. Take it from someone who knows... it is NOT something you want.
Tell me, is THIS beauty, Lang Lang??? Once you are in the grasp of anorexia or bulimia, it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE for you to stop, you hear? You may think "oh, once I reach 80 pounds I will stop," but it's FAR more difficult than that. So don't start.
