I had a big wedding with all the fancy trimmings. We had 250 guests and the reception was held in a swanky place that specializes in weddings. We had a band and a DJ. I wore a satin, beaded gown. I had the wedding I had dreamed of all my life. Beautiful invitations, flowers, photographer, catered meal, 3-tier cake, etc. I had fun planning it. My parents split the cost with us.

If for any reason I was to remarry though, I'd elope.

How about you?

I dont want to get married anytime soon, and not thinking about wedding preparations.
Just as long as the groom is gorgeous,I'll be happpy.
I suppose I'd like to wear a white dress.
I definetly wont get married in a Church.

I want to run off to Vegas in the middle of the night and get married by an Elvis look a like. And the ceremony will be just my husband and I :)

I'm getting married this fall. It is just going to be Tom, myself and a few close family members and a couple friends, about 25 people altogether. We will be married outside, it should be really pretty with all the falling leaves. I just hope it doesn't rain. My stepmother is making my dress, offwhite and very simple. My sister who is quite a good photographer will be taking pictures. We will then spend a few days on Mackinac Island. Tom wanted a bigger wedding but I talked him out of it. I explained to him that since we don't have a ton of money it makes more sense to spend the money that we do have on a decent home and pay off the cars so when the kids come along, (we hope to have one within a year) we won't be overwhelmed with a bunch of maxed out credit cards and be living in a cramped apartment. I can't wait till fall.

The first time was a big wedding with about 200 people.

My second was just at the courthouse.

My third time was at the courthouse, with a big reception afterwards.

And the last one was in Vegas.

For me, if ever I get married to my boyfriend of almost 10 yrs. it will be small; just family & friends. The only person that won't be there unfortunately and I am truly sad and miss is my mom. I always hoped that both my parents would be there when and if I got married.

I have no plans of getting married(I think I'm a career type girl  ) but if I did, I'd like it to be a small affair, preferably married outdoors instead of a church. I have such an affection for fall, that I'd LOVE for it to be in October, when the leaves are turning.

Reception would be small- family, friends, coworkers- plenty of food, music, and open bar for all! :)

I had a small function about 80 people, I wore an ivory gown with many jewels in it. I had great food and lots of liquor. I had a DJ. It's a miracle that I had this because I wanted to make it for just family.

Well, I find weddings to be terribly boring. I hate sitting thru them, church or not church. Not that everyone feels this way, but because of it, I don't want to have anything big or long. I do, I do, you're done, next!

And I've developed some sort of stage fright, and I think standing up there getting all gushy and stuff is embarrassing, so I don't even want to do that!

But I do want the white dress. My parents got married in my great grandma's living room, so, I'd do that. It's cheap.

We had a beautiful November wedding. We had a DJ because we both thought that wedding bands were cheesy. We had a cocktail hour and a venetian hour. My wife was simply gorgeous in her gown. She was so beautiful, I actually choked up. We had about 120 people attend our wedding. Some of which we didn't know. My lovely daughter Brianna was the flower girl. She was 2 at the time, but she was on her best behavior.

If I ever do get married, I don't want to get married in the church like I originally thought about. Maybe in one of those luxurious hotels in Vegas (Not the cheap wedding chapels). Or maybe even at the castle in Disneyland. Really, you can do that!

I've never really thought about what my wedding would be like. I am female and it's pretty common when girls are little to imagine what they're wedding, but I never did.

I think I might want to elope or marry in a courthouse, because I'm not the kind of person who'd have a huge wedding with all the trimmings. I really don't know very many people and I don't like much attention. When you're the bride in a big wedding you're the center of attention for months! I couldn't handle that.

Well, I'll worry about all this when I get a boyfriend at least!

Ick, that's what I'm afraid of. Everyone knows me as this goof, and I don't like showing my serious side too much.

I don't know, something in the spring under blossoming trees with white flowers falling off and into our hair sounds pretty sweet. :grr: I wouldn't have the choice of who to invite, my parents would...people I barely even know would come...but I'm fine with that, I don't care. I've probably met them at least ONCE when I was 5. I'd wait until I was at LEAST 25...no way I'm going to be one of those idiots who marries right out of highschool or some crap. Waste of life right there...you have to have time for yourself first. Other than that, I havn't really though about it...I'm only 15 yet there. I've never even kissed a boy before.

My parents didn't have much money at the time so I had a very small wedding in our very small Lutheran church. My Mom made my satin wedding gown and I borrowed the veil. The reception was held in the church basement. We had cake and Ice cream. Not exactly my dream wedding but it was beautiful! :)

We honeymooned in Northern Michigan(St. Ignace)

It would be exciting and I wouldn't have to worry about too many guests showing up because many of them would be too scared to attend.

I went to a Halloween wedding where the groom dressed as Frankenstein and his wife dressed up as the bride of Frankenstein. The wedding was huge and all the guest had to wear costumes. The priest wore his regular priest garb.
