Rememebr back in 1991, when Robin Leach did "Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous", Mary-Kate & Ashley was on, I've never seen them on TV in years. But here is a transcript from 1991:
MARY-KATE & ASHLEY AS SEEN ON "LIFESTYLES OF THE RICH & FAMOUS"
Host: These twin tots made a singluar splash sharing the role as mischieveus munchkins together. The tiny two play Michelle on a television series. When Full House debuted in 1987 Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen were just 8 months old and veterans performers at the age of 5. They rank as the worlds most self made millionaires. Even more amazing their parents reveal the rise to rattles to riches happen quite by accident. Jarnie: Well it was actually kind of a fluke if you can call it a fluke. I just took my children in one day to an agency and showed them my girls, they were about 7 months old. They said to send some snapshots so I did and then he sent us out.
Dave: We sent some horrible indoor photographs of just family poses. He said send some more.
Jarnie: We kept sending photographs.
Host: More than cute, the two simalar clearing identical. One phone call changed the Olsens life forever.
Jarnie: I had no idea that they were the producers and I just rolled them in their and they took a look at them and...
Jeff Franklin: Their was really no contest Ashley & Mary-Kate came in with these big huge blue eyes and they just jumped into my arms and we just had a great time with them. They didn't spit up on me and that pretty much iced it.
Host: But few realize that the scene steeler was played by twins. Runaway ratings ranked just behind Cosby and Roseanne the mighting moffets also became part of a million dollar merchandise of a name sake toy line. Rich enough to afford any luxury that their hearts desires. The twins really put their foot down when it came down to personal transport.
Mary-Kate: It's like bumper cars and we like doing bumper cars.
Ashley: And we bumb into each other.
Host: Forget fashionable polo ponies. Their trustee is really something to shout about. Does success have them in a spin. As far as they are concern life in the fast lane doesn't get any better than this.
Ashley: The best thing is that we like going on the teater totter.
Mary-Kate: Because it goes real real fast.

Mary-Kate: You ell because they are tow sides one can go in the middle and you put the side and there is like one here for the big side and one here for the baby side. So, I don't have one I have the back she has the front.
Ashley: No I have the back too.
Host: Oh that explains it. Their home is just outside of Hollywood California.
Jarnie: Its been wonderful that the kids has a outdoor life. They have become outdoor kids. I think it is awfully important in raising children.
Ashley: Those ducks are pretty hungry. Well it is fun because it s fun because the ducks come near you when you feed them sand.
Mary-Kate: You can't throw sand because it will get into your eyes.
Ashley: and it will get in the duckee eyes.
Host: Mary-Kate & Ashley are throughly used to playing Michelle tag team style. On production days they are shaffered to Lorimar Studios met with their nanny, drama coach, and best of all make up artist.
