What I want to know is I always thought THS was basically for TV shows that had a lot of controversary on them (like with Robert Reed on the Brady Bunch)? Maybe I don't know enough about bts on Full House, but there didn't seem to be a lot (or any) contorversial issues on this show.

Full House took an oddball premise--three straight guys raising three girls in San Francisco--and ran with it for eight years. The show made household names of most of its stars and launched the franchise known as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The Olsen twins started out as two of the youngest child stars on television, and they now command a brand-name empire after their parents taught them the value of hard work and money.

As Full House: The E! True Hollywood Story, premiering Mar. 13 at 8 p.m., reveals, most of the castmembers were handpicked for their roles, and the result was ratings gold. Full House became the benchmark for wholesome family entertainment and cemented ABC as a leader in that category.

But being a megahit had its drawbacks: Candace Cameron faced prejudice at school, while sometimes the kids were mobbed in public, and the adult actors sometimes found it difficult to shed their good-guy images when they wanted to branch out their careers and try edgier material.

But despite all the tribulations, this is one E! True Hollywood Story that has multiple happy endings. The House is now empty, but its legacy lives on.


So, I guess there was a little controversy...I didn't know Candace had a hard time at school. :( And the mothers had to talk to Bob about his language. I knew he cussed and said dirty jokes, but I guess we'll get to see how big of a problem it was...

It had an outtake where one of the guys (Jesse, I believe) messed up a line, and Dave said, "No, that's Full House, you dip xxxx" and laughed! Whoa...

Yea ive heard Bob was pretty bad behind the scenes but not John and Dave.

When he was guest-hosting that late night show a while back, he talked about Andrea having her baby and acted all kind about it, then said, "It's mine."

Yeah, he's dirty. But, he's hilarious. Really, really hilarious.

As expected, half of it was about the twins. It was good though. Surprised they never once mentioned Andrea Barber.

I watched the whole and at the end of the show, the E!'s promo drives me nuts the actors couldn't finished the interview.http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/eek.gif It's like GSN went split screen at the end while the announcer was given away constilation prizes on a number of game shows. I like to see it again and I want the whole thing ended with an interview finishing up. The repeat from the one's before is still on. I like to see the end of the interview again, E! will not go split screen after the actors is finishing the interview.

It was pretty good. At times it was to much Olsens but it was good. When they were talking about the show ending it was kinda sad. Also it sounds like most oof the cast is up for a reunion. I do wish they mentioned Andrea though.

The E! True Hollywood Story on Full House was pretty good and interesting, but I wish they focused more on the other cast members rather than on the Olsens. Didn't they have their own THS anyway?

They said they wanted to end the show because they were paying the actors too much money. It was never mentioned that they started filming a ninth season and John Stamos wanted to quit. (??)

That was my thoughts as well.... Hmm.... Maybe that was a rumor about John, afterall? :confused:

I was also wondering about Andrea Barber as well! She lasted throughout the entire run of the show, so I thought it was strange how they didn't mention her.

Maybe they wanted to keep the thing about John quitting hush hush because he knew he would have alot of angry fans?

I was watching last night show again which is a repeat with the last segment including what is happening in the future. There was no promo thing at the end and guess what, they finished interviewing once again. I copied the last segment into the DVD again as well as the whole thing with the E! promo since it was cut off while interupting the end of an interview. And yes, there are some rumors about the reunion thing.

I was also surprised Andrea Barber wasn't mentioned. She was there from the begining, it's not like others where the ones who were only on in the end got mentioned. Couldn't they have gotten clearance to use her interview clips from the ET Behind The Walls Special?

For those of you have enjoyed the "True Hollywood Story" on E!, I will recommend "Behind the Walls of 'Full House'", an ET special from "ET in TV Land".

I also watched it, and the video of Jodie Sweetin walking in a park, plus the two photos of her with her husband, are definite proof that she's the best-looking of the three girls now that they're adults.

Nah Candace is the best looking.

I watched it, and I liked it for the most part, it was pretty interesting -- but there was a LOT of time spent on Mary Kate and Ashley post-Full House, which I think we already know about.
