I have the other special called "Behind the Walls of 'Full House'". I copied off of TV Land 2 years ago as part of "ET in TV Land".:) swedeace 03-05-2005, 12:19 AM I have the other special called "Behind the Walls of 'Full House'". I copied off of TV Land 2 years ago as part of "ET in TV Land".:) Eh, I think Barb1686 was asking what it was about. Since you have it, perhaps you might be able to explain what this special is about to all of us who don't have it? Karen* 03-05-2005, 01:11 AM OMG! Can't wait! Someone needs to remind me though! :p Coory 03-05-2005, 02:26 AM Remind me too. swedeace 03-05-2005, 09:36 AM I think there's a way to have an reminder sent in your email on www.zap2it.com You have to sign up for a username. :) David 03-05-2005, 11:38 AM ooooo thanks for the heads up, i didnt know about this. i'll be watching! TheHappyBurgerMeister 03-07-2005, 06:59 PM I'll definitely be watching this!! :) What I want to know is I always thought THS was basically for TV shows that had a lot of controversary on them (like with Robert Reed on the Brady Bunch)? Maybe I don't know enough about bts on Full House, but there didn't seem to be a lot (or any) contorversial issues on this show. barb1686 03-08-2005, 03:54 PM Full House took an oddball premise--three straight guys raising three girls in San Francisco--and ran with it for eight years. The show made household names of most of its stars and launched the franchise known as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The Olsen twins started out as two of the youngest child stars on television, and they now command a brand-name empire after their parents taught them the value of hard work and money. As Full House: The E! True Hollywood Story, premiering Mar. 13 at 8 p.m., reveals, most of the castmembers were handpicked for their roles, and the result was ratings gold. Full House became the benchmark for wholesome family entertainment and cemented ABC as a leader in that category. But being a megahit had its drawbacks: Candace Cameron faced prejudice at school, while sometimes the kids were mobbed in public, and the adult actors sometimes found it difficult to shed their good-guy images when they wanted to branch out their careers and try edgier material. But despite all the tribulations, this is one E! True Hollywood Story that has multiple happy endings. The House is now empty, but its legacy lives on. So, I guess there was a little controversy...I didn't know Candace had a hard time at school. :( And the mothers had to talk to Bob about his language. I knew he cussed and said dirty jokes, but I guess we'll get to see how big of a problem it was... swedeace 03-08-2005, 09:37 PM Wow! I forgot all about how the E! True Hollywood Stories show ups/downs of shows. This is gonna be some interesting stuff! Thanks for the info on the cussing, Barb! I had no idea! Then again, I remember watching those triple online video files of FH bloopers from the second season. It had an outtake where one of the guys (Jesse, I believe) messed up a line, and Dave said, "No, that's Full House, you dip xxxx" and laughed! Whoa... Coory 03-08-2005, 10:20 PM Yea ive heard Bob was pretty bad behind the scenes but not John and Dave. barb1686 03-09-2005, 12:28 AM Well, he does dirty stand-up acts...I guess he's really harsh too. I heard he put the Olsens and Andrea in his act... musicradio77 03-11-2005, 09:51 PM Here is a story from my messasge board "'Full House' and More": Click here (http://brooklynguy78.proboards43.com/index.cgi?board=TV&action=display&num=1110591956) DukeDevils9192 03-12-2005, 04:19 PM Well, he does dirty stand-up acts...I guess he's really harsh too. I heard he put the Olsens and Andrea in his act... When he was guest-hosting that late night show a while back, he talked about Andrea having her baby and acted all kind about it, then said, "It's mine." Yeah, he's dirty. But, he's hilarious. Really, really hilarious. Coory 03-12-2005, 08:18 PM The House is now empty, but its legacy lives on. Thats a good quote right there. And it couldnt be any more true. Oh BTW I hate you right now DukDevils9192. Duke beat NC State this afternoon. Congrats though. It was a good and close game. Good luck tomorrow. bschmale1113 03-12-2005, 11:06 PM I am looking the most is how did the series got on the air, who was almost cast on the show also I am looking for to is where the rest of the cast I already know what John, Lori & Mary-Kate & Ashley are doing swedeace 03-13-2005, 12:35 AM Wow! In a little under 24 hours left (in my timezone)! I can't wait!!! Coory 03-13-2005, 01:14 AM And the countdown starts. I cant wait!! troopoleon8897 03-13-2005, 02:13 PM i just saw the commercial and it looks pretty sweet!!! Atlantic Ocean Time zone: 6 hours and 45 minutes till The E! THS musicradio77 03-13-2005, 02:38 PM Can't wait for tonight.:notworthy: Coory 03-13-2005, 03:08 PM Jake In Progress premiers tonight too. swedeace 03-13-2005, 11:05 PM Yay!!! Less than an hour - 54 minutes, to be precise!! :D Jake in Progress premieres tonight? I thought it was the 17th? Vegas Girl 03-13-2005, 11:11 PM As expected, half of it was about the twins. It was good though. Surprised they never once mentioned Andrea Barber. musicradio77 03-13-2005, 11:13 PM I'm watching the "Full House" "True Hollywood Story" on my DVR.:woohoo: musicradio77 03-13-2005, 11:17 PM Jake In Progress premiers tonight too. Darn! I missed the first two episodes of "Jake in Progress":(. I hope this Thursday I will watch it along with "Summerland". bschmale1113 03-14-2005, 12:32 AM I don't get it either but Andrea Barber is part of the cast they even mention Steve but Mary-Kate & Ashley I know a lot about beacuse they on the news musicradio77 03-14-2005, 12:47 AM I watched the whole and at the end of the show, the E!'s promo drives me nuts the actors couldn't finished the interview.http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/eek.gif It's like GSN went split screen at the end while the announcer was given away constilation prizes on a number of game shows. I like to see it again and I want the whole thing ended with an interview finishing up. The repeat from the one's before is still on. I like to see the end of the interview again, E! will not go split screen after the actors is finishing the interview. Coory 03-14-2005, 12:47 AM It was pretty good. At times it was to much Olsens but it was good. When they were talking about the show ending it was kinda sad. Also it sounds like most oof the cast is up for a reunion. I do wish they mentioned Andrea though. Coory 03-14-2005, 12:49 AM Yea the same thing happened to me at the end too. Im gonna watch the second time to see the whole interview. musicradio77 03-14-2005, 12:51 AM Yea the same thing happened to me at the end too. Im gonna watch the second time to see the whole interview. Same thing here, but don't let E! fooled you again with the promo thing while finishing up the interview. Karen* 03-14-2005, 02:48 AM The E! True Hollywood Story on Full House was pretty good and interesting, but I wish they focused more on the other cast members rather than on the Olsens. Didn't they have their own THS anyway? Vegas Girl 03-14-2005, 07:19 AM They said they wanted to end the show because they were paying the actors too much money. It was never mentioned that they started filming a ninth season and John Stamos wanted to quit. (??) swedeace 03-14-2005, 10:20 AM They said they wanted to end the show because they were paying the actors too much money. It was never mentioned that they started filming a ninth season and John Stamos wanted to quit. (??) That was my thoughts as well.... Hmm.... Maybe that was a rumor about John, afterall? I was also wondering about Andrea Barber as well! She lasted throughout the entire run of the show, so I thought it was strange how they didn't mention her. Coory 03-14-2005, 03:30 PM Maybe they wanted to keep the thing about John quitting hush hush because he knew he would have alot of angry fans? musicradio77 03-14-2005, 06:00 PM I was watching last night show again which is a repeat with the last segment including what is happening in the future. There was no promo thing at the end and guess what, they finished interviewing once again. I copied the last segment into the DVD again as well as the whole thing with the E! promo since it was cut off while interupting the end of an interview. And yes, there are some rumors about the reunion thing. musicradio77 03-14-2005, 06:06 PM For those of you who watched last night show on "True Hollywood Story", there are some interviews that they will not going to talk with: 1. Andrea Barber 2. Blake & Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit Other interviews that they've always talked with: 1. Bob Saget 2. Lori Loughlin 3. John Stamos 4. Dave Coulier 5. Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen 6. Jodie Sweetin 7. Cadence Cameron 8. Scott Weinger (look for him on the "Aladdin" DVD for those of you do have the movie that features interviews with the cast of "Aladdin".) chrisw79 03-15-2005, 12:44 AM I was also surprised Andrea Barber wasn't mentioned. She was there from the begining, it's not like others where the ones who were only on in the end got mentioned. Couldn't they have gotten clearance to use her interview clips from the ET Behind The Walls Special? musicradio77 03-15-2005, 06:14 PM For those of you have enjoyed the "True Hollywood Story" on E!, I will recommend "Behind the Walls of 'Full House'", an ET special from "ET in TV Land". Ohio8 03-21-2005, 01:02 AM I also watched it, and the video of Jodie Sweetin walking in a park, plus the two photos of her with her husband, are definite proof that she's the best-looking of the three girls now that they're adults. Coory 03-21-2005, 05:20 PM Nah Candace is the best looking. DuhDuh539 03-22-2005, 11:23 PM there was too much on MK & A barb1686 03-23-2005, 10:55 AM Repeats will be on tonight... • The E! True Hollywood Story - "Full House" ETV, Wed Mar 23 05:00pm EST • The E! True Hollywood Story - "Full House" ETV, Sat Mar 26 08:00pm EST • The E! True Hollywood Story - "Full House" ETV, Tue Mar 29 01:00pm EST David 03-23-2005, 11:08 AM I watched it, and I liked it for the most part, it was pretty interesting -- but there was a LOT of time spent on Mary Kate and Ashley post-Full House, which I think we already know about. |
