I realized that NewsRadio debuted on March 21st, 1995. In a few weeks it will be March 21st, 2005. Thus, ten years will have passed. We can celebrate here on this thread.

Such as, where were you on March 21st, 1995 at 8:30pm? I was in my sister's bedroom, watching the debut of the new sitcom "NewsRadio".

Too bad the DVDs aren't out already. It would make a great anniversary gift for us fans.

 I couldn't tell you for sure, but I think I was in my bedroom watching the debut. I loved this show!

Lucky for me, my sister was a big "Kids in the Hall", "SNL" and "Ben Stiller Show" fan. She watched it to see Dave Foley, Phil Hartman and Andy Dick. So I watched it with her. Plus, she taped the first two seasons in their original run. I was in the seventh grade at the time. I watched the first season during the summer over and over again. Now when I watch it, I don't laugh, (at the first season) but I still appreciate the humor and have fond memories of laughing.

However, by the time the show ended, I was watching it solo. My sister got out of the show. I'm loyal to shows though.

I remember watching The Ben Stiller Show (too bad FOX canned it), and I love Kids in the Hall. Yeah, that's why I was tuning in. Especially for Dave Foley and Phil Hartman. :)

 I would turn 21 later that year and I thought it was great.

It's too bad she stopped watching, but cool that you stuck with it. :)

A couple of weeks ago I realized what was coming up, and I am working on an article spotlighting the anniversary for the next issue of The Daily Jimmy.

It was a few monthes before I graduated high school. My mom showed me an article in Entertainment Weekly, knowing I would be interested in Dave Foley's new show. (I'm a huge Kids in the Hall fan. Even saw them live a few years back!) I watched the premiere shortly thereafter, and was a faithful viewer for the entire run. (That's saying a lot, considering the many time and day changes.) Still, in my mind, one of the best sitcoms of my lifetime. Maybe the best sitcom ever, even!
