I love unsolved mysterys and have them all and watch them all the time, the question that has always bugged me is at the end of the broadcast when they show the credits concerning who help put the show togather, they never display more than 2 of the actors/actresses who reinacted the people who were portrayed in the story, now i know that ive seen at times more than 2 of these actors/actresses playing the story in a single episode of UM, so has anyone ever figured out why they did this? I always thought the union laws made them give credits to all players in a show wether it be tv or big screen.

LOL! I've always wondered about that, too. They always show just two of the actors names and that's it. I have no clue why they did that.

Speaking of the reinactors, who besides Matthew McConoughey has been in one of them? I noticed Cheryl Hines (from curb your enthusiasm) in one and another character actor I worked with in another.

from the Adam Hedct case I believe is the guy from JAG whose name escapes me - Funny thing is around the same time he did UM the same actor portrayed a murderer on "LA LAW" - I guess he liked the sorid roles.

I don't know what the actresses name is but the woman who played the mother of Damian Correntes (its one of the newer segments about a young man killed by a gang then his mother started crusading against them) appeared in Ben Affleck's movie "Surviving Christmas". She played Ben's girlfriends' mother.

Shawn Batten (who was a regular on the soap opera Sunset Beach and the MTV show Spyder Games) played the woman in the segment that left her new born baby in a suitcase on a train back in the 1950's.

The Barbra Pitroski/Richard Mintz case was one of the longest shoots they ever had to do (I believe it took a month or so on location in Texas) - they really wanted to tell it soap opera drama like rather then just a straight profile mystery case - I personally think it's one of the better segments and the time put into it shows.
Later.

Could be that the other "actors" were actually involved in the real events and therefore aernt receiving credit. I dont recall ever seeing any excellant acting.....(laugh) :D
